Grow Diary – Day 73 (Flowering Day 53) Strain: Sour Frootz by Karma Genetics Plants: 4 clones Training: HST + SCROG Nutrients: Green House Feeding – Bio Grow & Bio Bloom Date: May 24 (Saturday) Status: Entering final ripening – harvest approaching At Flowering Day 53, the Sour Frootz plants are now in the late flowering phase, showing strong signs of maturity. Buds are fully formed, tight, and heavily coated in resin. Trichome development has peaked visually—most heads are now cloudy, with a noticeable rise in amber trichomes, especially on upper colas. The aroma is intense and complex: sweet, citrusy fruit mixed with sour funk and subtle earthy undertones. The terpene expression is at its most volatile, and the flowers are sticky to the touch. Some larger fan leaves are beginning to fade, showing natural senescence—primarily a gentle yellowing, with no signs of stress or deficiency. Nutrient Program: • Still running Bio Bloom, though it can now be tapered or discontinued if you plan a light flush. • Bio Grow is no longer active at this stage (breakdown complete), but residual nutrients are sustaining the plant. Watering is now more moisture-controlled to avoid excess humidity near dense colas, reducing mold risk. Week 10 - she stop stretching finally and the high is 93cm and I can see that the buds are stretching instead which is good. Looking forward to see how fat she will be, I think another. 3-4 weeks and flush time.

Oooooo baby !!! This is starting to come together very nicely . So everything is looking green and mean !! I would say that they are gonna need to have a boost in feeding . The leaves are looking just a little bit lime . Nothing to be too worried about . I'll be sitting on my hands to keep them from plucking these ones crazy I'm definitely going to leave it till week 3 just to see how it works out usually I would definitely pretty much every week but let's just see what happens on this one. Crazy growth. Just crazy. The rest of the ladies are up on pots to try and keep the canopy as level as possible. She is super thirsty and is needing her nutrients upped. The training has really paid off, she has a cracking canopy. Looking forward to seeing her develop 😎

They started growing strong this week!

Rough week, had to flush the bigger plant to fix lockout. Did 15 gallon flush with ph balanced water, the last bucket of 5 gallon had 50% strength nutrient, minus the flora Micro which I will stop using for the rest of the grow. I installed my scrog net, only about 30% of the net is filled. The second smaller plant doesn't even reach. I sent the height to 18 Inches from the base of the plant. I lose 10 inch from pot I also lose 18 Inch from light and carbon air filter 6ft tent max I lose 2.5 ft. Only 3.5 ft to grow. Going to increase nutrients to 75% strength and only give cal-mag 1x a week as the support team told me to do so. Heavy trimming and defoilation. I will spread the plant and any branches wanting to pass my screen will get topped until the tent is filled. I took 5 clones from each plant, some of the thin long branches that were not getting any light. I am starring my first dwc grow at the same time in my 2x3 tent with my gf. Unsure if I will have a small soil run the same time. The plant is starting to smell strong, honestly like stinky armpit mixed with cat piss. I am not turning on carbon air filter yet, I like keeping it humid during the veg cycle and I keep RH around 40-60% when I turn on carbon filter.
