Pretty straightforward grow in all honesty 😸 This plant turned out great, the buds look phenomenal, I love when they break out and bulge in all directions. She has some serious weight in her branches and the trichome coverage is on point! This pheno doesn’t look or smell anything like the first pack of Jelly Breath S1 I ran all those years back. That aside, she has nice earthy, diesel terps and looks like a good yielder so 🤷‍♂️😸 I gave her a quick wet trim, before hanging her to dry. It’s been fun (long) run. I didn’t take any clones so this is just a ‘one and gone’. I’d like to thank everyone who liked or commented on this diary, I hope it’s been helpful in some way 😸 PersonalSmok3s🌱💚😸

What up fam, we made it to harvest time with these lovely frosted ladies. I ended up chopping and freezing it to wash and make some Fresh Frozen Live Rosin. The strong smell followed by hits of sweetness is mouth watering. I ended up with 1146g of wet weight, and after washing, pressing it came out to a total of 41g of Rosin. It had 2.5% return so not horrible but one i plan on running again as I know it and I can do better.

🌱 Skywalker OG — Week 6 From Seed 12/12 From Seed · Transition Into Flower ⸻ 🔁 Quick Recap — From Seed to Now Skywalker OG has been grown 12/12 from seed from day one. No veg phase, no forced speed — just letting the plant express itself naturally while guiding structure gently. From early life, our approach has been: • Leaf bending instead of topping • Minimal stress, frequent observation • No rush — letting the plant tell us when it’s ready Up until now, all work has focused on: • Building a strong, open frame • Keeping internodes exposed to light • Preparing the plant for flower without shocking it Week 6 from seed marks an important moment: 👉 The transition into flower structure, even if pistils are only just starting to show. This week is less about growth speed — and more about setting the stage. ⸻ ✂️ Canopy Work & Plant Training (This Week) This week we went a little harder than usual, on purpose. What We Did • Continued leaf bending, but with more intention • Light lollipopping of the lower, shaded growth • Selective defoliation (not a strip-down, not a clean shave) • Introduced plastic clamps to guide branches outward Why We Did It Leaf removal • Improves airflow inside the plant • Reduces humidity pockets • Helps light reach meaningful flower sites • Removes leaves that were blocking, not contributing Lollipopping (light) • Cleans up growth that would never reach the canopy • Helps the plant redirect energy upward • Makes future watering and airflow cleaner Clamps & bending • Opens the plant instead of stacking it • Creates multiple dominant tops • Avoids cutting or topping stress • Allows gradual correction instead of forcing angles We don’t see this as “defoliation” in the aggressive sense. We see it as guidance and clarification. Nothing here is done in one session or out of frustration. Everything is done slowly, plant by plant, read by feel. ⸻ 🌡️ Environment Update • Day temperature: ~28°C (successfully raised) • Humidity: ~65% • PPFD: ~600–850 (based on plant height and position) • CO₂: ~900 ppm As outside temperatures remain cooler, the room itself has naturally become its own heat source: • More plant mass • Higher light intensity • Under-canopy lighting added This allowed us to stabilize the environment without forcing heaters or extremes, which is exactly how we like to work. Airflow • Vortex extraction • Cross-winds with multiple fans • Constant, gentle movement across the canopy No leaf flutter chaos — just steady motion. ⸻ 💧 Feeding & Nutrition Strategy This week marks a clear nutritional transition. • EC: 2.4 • pH: 6.5 (transitioning to 6.0+ from now on) From this point forward: 👉 All feedings will be pH 6.0 and above Why Higher pH Now? As plants enter flowering, their nutrient priorities shift. A slightly higher pH improves availability of key elements needed for: • Flower initiation • Structural development • Energy transfer Nutrient Changes • ✅ Introduced: Terra Bloom — 5 ml/L • ❌ Removed: Terra Grow Simple, clean transition — no stacking, no panic feeding. ⸻ 🔮 What to Expect Next Week Expect: • Stretch continuation • Tops adjusting to new light exposure • Faster response at exposed nodes • More visible flower initiation Do NOT expect: • Immediate bud stacking • Explosive flower size • Perfect symmetry overnight This week is about positioning, not payoff. The work done now decides how easy (or hard) the next 4–6 weeks will be. ⸻ 🧠 Final Notes This is our way of reading the garden. It’s our humble opinion, shaped by experience, observation, and patience. Everyone is encouraged to: • Try this technique • Try other techniques • Combine techniques • Or do the exact opposite Plants are teachers — not rules. ⸻ 🙏 Thank You Big thanks to: • Grow Diaries for the platform • Our sponsors and supporters • The OGs who’ve been here since day one • The new faces joining the journey • The lovers • The haters (they keep things interesting 😄) And most of all — the community that keeps learning together. As always, this is shared for educational purposes, aiming to spread understanding and appreciation for this plant. Let’s celebrate it responsibly and continue to learn and grow together. With true love comes happiness. Always believe in yourself, and always do things expecting nothing and with an open heart. Be a giver, and the universe will give back in ways you could never imagine. 💚 Growers love to all 💚 📸 P.S. – The Eye Behind the Lens All photos in this diary (for now — except for the ones showing the camera, which I took with an iPhone) are taken with a Sony A6700 paired with a Sony full-frame macro lens and a few more. Photography is part of the story — it’s how we share the fine textures, the glow, and the quiet details that words can’t always capture. I’ve also started experimenting with photo stacking — a technique where multiple images, each taken at a slightly different focus point, are layered together to create one perfectly sharp image from front to back. It’s not digital enhancement or AI; it’s pure photography — a way to reveal the plant’s beauty in microscopic depth, from trichome to petal. You’ll even see a few shots of "ghost me" capturing the shots — camera, lens, setup — because every grow deserves not just to be cultivated, but documented like art. August 14, day 104 (37f), the Red Mandarine is getting chunkier bit by bit. The canopy is pretty dense, but I have plenty of airflow so it should be alright. It just needs to ripen a bit more in the coming weeks and gain a little density and it should be good to harvest. August 17, day 107 (day 40f), the buds are really putting on weight at the end! The smell is also increasing, along with the lovely red tones. Switched to dry koolbloom for the last week or so, then a short flush and harvest. The Mars Hydro SP-3000 is powering through the flowering stage. Its been managing heat really well, which is always a plus during the summer! 🌱👉 Check out marshydro_aliexpress on Instagram (https://instagram.com/marshydro_aliexpress?utm_medium=copy_link)

Due to a faulty temp/humidity sensor the plants suffered for a week whilst I was busy. They should be fine now everything is in check. I did defole so lots of missing leaves mainly damaged ones from the recent abuse haha

This strain is a dream to grow, if you haven't tried it yet, it's amazing, it's easy, it's lush and vibrant, full of energy from seed to smoke. Great for organic grow styles and a fun plant to grow. The smoke I will update in the smoke review! I do not have words for the quality of this strain. In everything. Grow this and be absolutely amazed by its performance. I had won the seeds with the Halloween give-away but they are a sure winner and a keeper. @SweetSeeds congratulations on a champion auto-strain. I've grown auto's before, only outdoors, but nothing like this, nothing this big in such a short time, and this resilient for not only mistakes but everything. This plant will perform even if you were to mess it all up. Keep to 20 liters grow bags for best performance as you could see with my two plants. One as more developed, although everyone says over 15 ltr makes no difference, with organic coco hybrid super soil, it does. It is the difference in buffering of nutes, PH, heat, and moisture. Way less hassle in the bigger pot and this was an excellent learning curve. This grow started out as a match between Forbidden Runtz by Fastbuds and XL Runts by Sweetseeds. But since the playing field was uneven (pot wise but also heat and fresh air wise), the results do not count in my opinion. But my guess is (since I haven't weighed the Forbiddens) that the XLs for now won. But as I said it would not be fair. We will do the contest again when said playing field is level. For now thank you again for checking my diaries, if you have any questions or comments, always welcome my friend. Big Hug Bud

Weekly update on these three. One is pretty much done and is ready to chop this week where the other two aren't far behind. The dense tight buds are pungent as can be. Definitely one that flowers super fast it seemed like and not to hard to grow. All in all Happy Growing

Growth is super, despite having splitting and getting a break where I topped due to something falling on the plant. I quickly patched her up with some electrical tape and a cable tie and she recovered within a day! Super resilient plant. She's starting to smell and putting out a few pistils already at the end of week 1 flower!

Day 58 - As you can see, buds are looking full but still looking like they want to go a bit longer, checking the trichomes frequently and seeing a lot of cloudy.. think i saw the first few ambers too. Any how, we shall keep going. Flush time soon. Day 62 - Looking good, smelling better.. really fruity and sweet. Seems ripe too. Feeds lowered and a little flush. Buds are rock hard, very dense and sticky. Looking forward to harvesting. She will be ready by day 63, but I'll see weather or not ill let her go longer. Stay tuned. Day 64 - trichomes ready, little flush and shes ready for the chop. Beautiful smelling strain and easy to grow. Very hard dense gassy and sweet buds. Once dry and cure, will be back with a little update.

Everything is looking good so far. They’re all done stretching and the cheese and black garlic have stretched the most. I adjusted each plant with boxes to create a more even canopy. Buds are swelling up nicely. The two black berry breath plants are looking swollen and fantastic. I don’t like the structure and bud size of the black garlic plants and will not be running them again. Although, they’re getting quite keify and the breeder claims they have a genetic trait that make them put on most of their weight late in flower. So far I’m not too impressed by their size. The seedsman Badazz OG cheese has got good node spacing and structure but has very little trichs and smaller buds. I was just running the cheese to test old European genetics and my bias is starting to confirm my bias. Dutch and Euro genetics are shit. The slurricane #4 is looking fantastic in terms of frost but the buds are lacking a little in size. I’m going to do the 21 day strip today. I should have done most of this defoliation earlier in veg but right now is still fine. Ice cream cake #1 hermed which isn’t at all surprising so I scrapped her. At least it gives me more space to get in and tend to the rest of the plants. I got a pump sprayer to get in a bit closer to the plants as well.
