Day 40-47 (May 31st- June 7th) (Day 41) For the first time in this grow these plants are looking halfway decent. Smell is ramping up too. I finally feel optimistic about this grow. (Day 42) The two jacks and the chunky blueberry are showing early signs of N/Mg deficiencies. I know it’s late in flower but since I’m experimenting with this tent, I’m going to give them one final feeding of nature’s pride 2-5-5.5 (tbsp) along with a teaspoon of oyster shell flour and some rock dust. Everything else I’m going to give a teaspoon of rock dust and oyster shell. There is no way these amendments will fully break down in time to be used by the plant but they could at least use the pH buffering and trace amounts of minerals after their recent leach. Everything but the BAOGC is covered in pistils that don’t really match their bud size. I hope they fill into their pistils because an over abundance of hairs drops the bag appeal like crazy. Over the last few cycles, indoor and outdoor, I’ve definitely learned that different strains and phenotypes mature at different times. Sometimes really radically too. (Day 43) None of the plants are fading at all but they’re still looking good. Black garlic I know should be fading but remains dark green and toxed. I popped a developing seed out of the main bud too. I wonder if that blueberry herm branch pollinated it at all. It seems like plants don’t really like that Destiny dark matter soil by itself. I find it works better mixed with coco or promix 1:1. (Day 44) I’m starting to think I might be mixing up the TWOG and BAOGC. BAOGC took forever to fatten up last round and the 2 phenos I suspected already look done. I was thrown off by the similar terps. The beauty phenos are definitely TWOG (Day 45) God these Jack Herer’s smell good. Nothing but fruity funk. Almost like a vanilla or blueberry yogurt. I would say this stuff has the most overpowering smell in the tent now. I’ve noticed they’re starting to foxtail like crazy. Blueberry#1 too. I’m watering a final low strength feeding of seaweed extract on everything. (Day 47) Everything really fattened up this week. Even at the beginning of the week I was saying I didn’t think they would fill out. Jack Herer and BAOGC specifically made some big gains and nearly doubled their density and still have quite a way to go on them too! The smell has ramped up and finally, everything is looking happy and healthy.

Thats week 6 of flower in the bag. 3 (maybe 4) go! I wont lie I have been visiting the tent more often these days thanks to the beautiful aroma tempting me to have a look at their progress. The last 24 hours has been quite satisfying for me because the bud growth is now steaming ahead. I wish I had taken photos last night but I showed the girls to a friend yesterday and we could see all the bud sites peeking through but when I checked on them this afternoon the buds are exploding through with vigor! Ive taken another video and a fair few bud shots but next week I will be taking more photos to show you more than just top bud growth as these girls are stacking up! Ive always been really envious of other growers who top their plants multiple times and take the time to ensure the canopy is as level as possible but Im quite proud of my girls canopy and multiple top colas! Anyway, so all I have been doing is continuing with a water and seaweed extract feed, still about 5litres each and they had their last top amendment feed last weed which will last them to the end now and I want them to use up as much of the nutrients available in the soil before I start flushing in the next couple of weeks. For anyone reading who doesnt know about flushing, Ill explain. Flushing is a technique used by growers to get rid of as much of the added nutrients in the medium by 'flushing' around 3 times the volume of the pot the plant is growing in with normal tap water (ensuring the water is at the right PH). Essentially you want to flush the plant in 3 batches so that the medium has time to settle between each flush ensuring you get all the nutrients and minerals out of the medium. You will notice that the run off will get lighter and lighter with each batch of flushing which is the nutrients being flushed out. We do this so that the plant is forced to use its own nutrients which in turn I have found also fattens up the buds. This is the time when you start to notice a change of colour in your plants as they start to use up the nutrients stored in the leaves. Dont panic as these deficiencies are just a sign that the nutrients are being used up and you will end up with bud that will dry better and be less prone to mold issues as well as a smoother smoke and better terpene profiles. Just look at that frost... Thats it for this week! ✌️

Didn't have someone to come water the plants. 5 days away. Plants dried right out. Defoliated both and fed and watered. We will see what happens. Plant one has mostly orange hairs. Plant two is on the whiter side. Buds are still filling in. I have definitely learned that I need to move on to a more automated system for my lifestyle. Gonna try to make the best of the next few weeks and watch the trichomes turn. Day 66-67 flushed soil with pH water

Hola 🐎 I never promised you a rose garden....... Day 31 and still only have LST couple times and watered at beginning. Canopy looks flat and nice at the moment. Rose looks beautiful and healthy. Soil NPK was 1-1-1 and looks like there's enough nitrogen still so first watering going to be with bloom nutrients. Spotted first pistils yesterday. 15/08/24 (FD 22): Started to give my girls some more bio bloom to boost Phosphate & flower development, for now they seem to handle the extra nutes with no problem what so ever! Also the stretch seems to be done and they reached 1m in height. I wonder how tall they would have gotten if I wouldn't have topped them in week 3? There is one really weird mutation in the big girls which results in a flat stem with a bend and stunted top...I am really curious to see flower development on this one! I hope they will reach their maturity in 6 weeks so I can harvest before October when it will get humid & rainy! Stay tuned

Good week, did quite a bit of defoliation, the main cola is getting bigger but I was hoping to see more growth on the other bud sites. Watering with a ph of between 6.2-6.8 from the top and the bottom without any run off about every 48 hours or whenever the top inch of soil is dry. This is my first grow and I would say it’s already a success, but I do hope the buds get bigger in the next couple of weeks. Would love to get 30g or more from this plant but I don’t really know.

***Sponsored Grow*** = Medic || https://medicgrow.com || Grow = ***Sponsored Grow*** This week was fun, realized I was giving my plants close to 60DLI vs 40DLI so I lowered the lights back down to 80% they should be within the range of 38-42DLI depending on specs, I lack a tools to monitor this in house so have to go off of specs and calculations I have from manufacture and other people who reviewed the lights online. main big one is 2.8 vs 2.2 effectivity on the diodes. Noted that the white dandruff coming out the runoff was indeed spring tails. looks like they have made a home in my medium and I don't care. must be eating all the dead shit. Still ph'ing my water up to combat the acidic whatever in the pots. maybe this is from the spring tails or bacteria in there. good thing is they eat mold and other nastiness in the soil. I do think I messed up quite a bit on this grow, I am hoping the next one will be better. First time using liquid feed vs dry soil amendments. This kannabia plant is dong well nothing to note outside of its normal growing progress. I keep getting different smells off of it depending on the day and the last time I watered. Will know its true profile when I can chop and cure. Guessing this will be about 2-4 weeks out. A lot of rain and wind, continuously. Temps have dropped as well. I’m reading another week or two to chop this plants. Sativa dominant hybrids did the best, the Fastberry and the banana purple punch did not really develop as the other two. In specifics the cbd crack developed sizable buds, and the blue dream as well, the flowers are not as developed tight and dense as in the indoor grow. A bit of fox-tailing nothing too expressive. Minimal work, as per the setup chosen, an no extra nutes this week.

Day 75, close to the end !! Still flushing and getting ready for harvest ! In approx 6 days, I'll harvest my first one, the rest a bit later, not ready yet. So I got a second hand furniture that I turned into a drying box to start drying while the rest is still growing. I'm so excited for the harvest !! It has to be soon cause I'm running out of weed ! I won't wait the curing to be done to start smoking it lol. A huge thanks to all the growers who helped or commented me, I learnt so much on this website, please feel free to ask for help, I'm not an expert but I'll always try to help the community :) Good luck to all !

Another good week! I fed them once on Monday. A final shot to boost them for finishing up. I am pretty certain they will finish within 2 weeks.I also watered them on Thursday and today (Sunday). I defoliated both plants earlier this week as well. For one, I needed to open the canopy up to help keep the humidity down but, there were a lot of leaves yellowing and turning brown. I was not feeding them correctly... in the sense that I wasn't watering enough in between feeds. There were excess nutrients built up in the soil and I believe that led to the nutrient burn. Also, this was my first and only feed without the Grow Big due to flushing for week 9. I followed the Fox Farm feed schedule... but, I think I needed to understand my plants better! I also believe I stunted these girls! One is about 24" tall and the other is 21" tall. Both on the very low end of the growth chart. Overall, I am very happy!! So much to experience and learn in such a short window of time! I've thoroughly enjoyed this grow! I look forward to the harvest and experiencing all that is to come! One last thing... Anyone use GrowBuddy and any word on what is going on with the current download? I've followed the drama around taking so long and all that (the new hardware soon to be for sale for 2.0)... but, the website now says the software is available for free and working on Macs and Windows.... So, I downloaded it last night and I cannot activate an account. Everything has a greyed over kind of look... So, I assume they took some part of their servers offline... Anyone know if this is accurate and has anyone else activated a new account recently? Thanks for any insight!! Peace!

Glue 31 - Compound Genetics Day 110 🚿 No watering for this week, she was left to dry back in preparation for harvest. ✂️ I removed some of her fan and larger sugar leaves, I then chopped her at the base and hung her to dry in a dark cool environment with temperatures between 19-21 degrees Celsius and relative humidity set at 58-61% 👌🏻 🌸 Start of week 11 bloom, and her trichomes have started to turn amber and all her pistils have dried and browned. She has been thoroughly flushed, so today is harvest days 🎉🎉
