Last week we noticed one of the ladies had begun to show sex. A couple calyxes with barely visible white hairs coming out of them. Seeing as there's no electricity where the garden is located we opted for a 1500 lumen LED lantern, that we turn on at 11:pm every night for about 40 minutes to and hour. This seemed to have done the trick as no more hairs have been seen and the vegging process is back on track.

Day 33 from Seed: In general these ladies have just got on with it this week while I worried about some of the other girls. Their training has been a breeze so far and they have been made more pliable by the silica. I have now stopped using the Mega crop in the Los soil now the pot is making it's own nutes but I will keep my eye on them for any paling and need to re feed with the Mc. The coco girls are on 1g/L to see how they settle into that now. #1is doing brilliantly and her size indicates she will be a great yielder. She is quick to turn her heads back up once pinned so I will need a fast hand to keep up. #2 The runt of the whole pack. I dont know why she is so small besides some evidence of def on her initial growing leaves. Her new growth looks a lot better but I think she will need less strength feed than the others. Her structure looks good but she is very small I general compared. #3 was my expected star of the grow room but is now not in the front row anymore. She is perfect and growing great. training has been easy with her and her sites are plentiful too. I think she will be the biggest of the Smoothies. I am very happy with their progress so far . great work Fast buds.

It is already the fifth week of vegetation and they are incredible, the autoflowering ones above all are beautiful and it is also noticing how the critical x are growing little by little. ! (Any questions, or any advice you can give me leave it in the comments, I also speak Spanish)

All looking good each plant got 700ml of feed on day 13 Daiquiri got an addition 200ml as she was dry on day 15. Day 16 measurements are as follows: Ultimate 15 cm Daiquiri 10 cm Mazar 16 cm

Coseché hace un poco más de 2 semanas y he ido probando inevitablemente, y es bastante bueno lo que se aprecia. Poco a poco los brotes van impregnandose de un agradable olor a crema dulce, el humo es bastante edificante y golpea fuerte, no raspa en la garganta que es lo que agradezco. Espero poder dejarlas en frasco lo más posible y así poder probar su sabor final y bien curado. Gracias a quienes han visto y compartido comentarios, estaré subiendo las actualizaciones 👌🏽

Yeah nutrients and ppm are not accurate. It’s close enough, but it’s a rough guess off the top of my head. I’ll try to take notes right away, that way I can remain accurate. No signs of mold or mildew. No pests or bugs. A few caught in the fly traps but never any visible “free” fliers. The cold from the two days really had her looking sad and definitely upset her momentum. But now that the heater is back, she’s not freezing with a low of 50F and high of 68F. Within an hour or so of raising the temp back to 70+ (I went straight to 78F) she was looking way better, leaves peeking back up. Lights are down at 30% for the night before going completely off for 4 hours. I’d say 30% for 4 Hours, then OFF for 4, then lights back on at 30% for another 2 and then back to 60% for the remaining time. Im doing this because my Golden Goat pheno is showing increased levels of magnesium deficiency when the intensity is higher. Does that make sense? Maybe the pheno doesn’t like the high UV LED lights? The Blueberry S1 and Mandarine XL as well as the little Critical Purple auto are all managing the light fine. Except I did notice a subtle magnesium deficiency in the MXL at one point, in a few leaves. Maybe the plants would benefit from a larger vascular system?? The Blueberry S1 is just jamming! But I’m upping the CalMag in everyone to help mitigate the delay in the magnesium. YES I could give more Epsom Salt. But a moderately heavy stack of Epsom Salts with a pH of 7, on top of a pH7 foliar feed of Epsom Salt, to immediately see continued signs develop towards a deficiency suggests another element at play. Maybe it’s still not enough Epsom salts?… Or: maybe something to do with the light is creating a high demand for magnesium and thus, the output outweighs the input. Either way, I’m going to be upping the Calcium input to build a bigger vascular system to hopefully solve this dilemma. It’s only noticeable in the GoldenGoat pheno. Barely visible in the MXL and only in one or two leaves total. Whereas the GoldenGoat has every leaf that hits 40-60% maturity develops a small indication of magnesium deficiency, yet it never progresses. Anyways, the Mandarine XL Auto is cruising along just fine. Also I like the anthocyanins coming out in some leaves. Although I attribute that to the high UVs.

Moved the SCROG net up a bit as I'm running out of bending space and the plant growth seems to have slowed down. Removed more leafs under canopy. Pulled the light up a bit. Increased the watering a bit as the soil is starting to dry up almost daily. So far so good with the overall plant health, let's see in the coming weeks what issues start to pop up :D I removed the fly traps because they were starting to touch the plants but I will likely have to add another one in some better position.

Week 3 for the solo is officially complete. She's been growing with no trouble. Root development has been excellent. As you can see, I decided to mainline. Seeing as she's in a solo cup, I'm not too worried about stunting. I'm horrible at measuring the water intake, but the cup needs to be watered daily. It's as lite as a feather everyday.

I really enjoyed growing this plant. It had a hard start due to my errors and poor environmental conditions, but it bounced back quite good and finished with a very good yield! It reached number 2 in all my harvests, loosing to Moby Dick. However, I'm pretty sure that his SSH is reaching at least 21%, while Moby Dick was on the ballpark of 16%. The buds look much more crystalized as well. It's my favorite sativa so far, and I'm gonna to grow it again pretty soon! I'll be back with more comments after 1 month of curing and smoking

W19 (Harvest) 6-6 Last day before harvest. 7-6 Harvest day! Installed a humidifier outside the tent, set to 55% aiming for a 60% humidity inside the dry tent. 17-6 After 10 days of drying she is ready to be trimmed. While posting this a couple of months later i found out that i totally forgot to make pictures and video's of the trimmed buds 😅 End result #1: 37 Grams of dried buds. 35.84 Grams of dried trim and very small buds, into the freezer. I would describe pheno 1 as normal frosty, almost stone like buds, smells chemical with hints of dish soap (i really like it!) I cant describe the taste but it was very tasty out of the box, before the cure, very sad i only had 37 grams of it haha. End result #2: Around 70 grams of dried buds. 43.23 Grams of dried trim and small buds, into the freezer for bubble hash. I would describe pheno 2 as very frosty buds, little bit fluffy, smells very gassy, with a nice sour taste after curing a couple of months. Very interesting strain, i will definitely grow it again! I have some trim and small buds saved up from different strains and i will be posting a diary of the full process making hash of them! The week starts Monday, Jan-13 in flowering stage. The plant is growing fast, stretching long and I'm constantly tying down branches to maintain an even canopy. There's also a stronger scent of lemon already in the tent. Carried out substantial defoliation of almost all the big fan leaves and a few little stems that were not likely to make it above the canopy. Avoided defoliating the major cola branches. This encourages the plant not to waste resources on a node which is only going to produce “popcorn” buds. The plants reacted well to the defoliation and were looking good by the end of the light cycle for the day. The net is completely full and this will be the last week of applying any LST as part of the ScrOG setup. Light is maintained at 30cm distance from canopy, with daily fertigation at lights on - watering almost 3L per day. Lowered the average RH in the space to 50%. ----prior 4 weeks updates ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The week starts Monday, Jan-06 in flowering stage. The net is filling up nicely with the ScrOG process being enjoyable - just tucking branches nicely under squares once stretched enough. Lost a branch end with 3 nodes accidentally whilst tucking away so now I'm super careful. The Sativa dominant strain is stretching nicely and bends easily. Minor defoliation of lower branches and fan leaves continues daily. Light is maintained at 30cm distance from canopy. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The week starts Monday, Dec-30 in vegetative stage - switching the light regime to flowering. Initiated flowering with an extended dark period prior to switching light regime - this practice is supposed to promote a faster initiation of flowering by the plant. Maintain lights off from Dec-31, 10:00 until Jan 1 - 18:45 allowing a 32hr darkness period prior to switching the light regime. Light regime is set for 12.5/11.5 on/off allowing me a better maintenance window for my living situation. Both plants are growing fast and strong, showing their genetic traits. Some shoots are going through the net already. Have started to tuck branches as they grow to fill up any gaps. Did minor defoliation on both plants near their stem base and centres. Some green algae on roots/coco medium on the surface of the pot. Have defoliated some more which hopefully helps with air circulation at the area. Will monitor over the week - may need to decrease watering frequency, although they seem to be keeping up drinking. Lowered the High Humidity setting of the extraction fan to 60% - which effectively keeps it running at least 75% of the time, and removed the humidifier. Will monitor and adjust as necessary lowering the setting to 50% in a few weeks whilst flowering. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The week starts Monday, Dec-23 in vegetative stage. Installed the ScrOG net - Set at 20cm from the base of the plants, being 55cm from ground. The plant is showing great growth, lots of branching and new growth sprouts. A few branches are beginning to come through the net and almost all main branches are now tied down horizontally after the two recent toppings. Applied more LST and will wait for the branches to reach the net and start tucking. The AC Infinity fan is currently only running intermittently with its current settings. This seems to impact the utilisation and effectiveness of the carbon filter in use. The desired outcome is for the fan to be running for longer periods whilst in Auto config. Lowered the High Level Humidity from 70% to 60%, and more importantly, lowered the Max Speed from 4 to 2 with the intent that a lower fan speed will result in longer periods where the extraction fan is operated to remain below threshold targets for the grow space. Plant growth continues to be strong at the end of the week. Big fan leaves near the top are beginning to look a little serrated and dark, similar to the start of this grow. This may be due to the extra CalMag being added which was the issue at the start of the grow. Will keep monitoring and half the CalMag dosage on next feed. Importantly, I have learnt nutrient mixing of the CalMag should be done prior to the Canna Coco A & B. To date I have done the opposite which may explain my earlier issues. Fertigating daily at the start of the light cycle. One more week of vegetative growth before switching to flowering although I may need to switch earlier due to the vigorous growth and considering the stretch yet to come. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ................................. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- My grow setup includes; - Secret Jardin DS120W tent (120cm x 60cm x 180cm) placed inside the bedroom. Passive intake of air is from a closed off section of the room where the central heating boiler sits - the intake is warm air (20 degC.) and fairly dry (40% RH) during the winter months. - Mars Hydro SP250 LED light - extraction fan - AC Infinity Cloudline T6 - ventilation fans - aquarium heater - small oil heater - small dehumidifier - 20L Airpots and 3.5L general pots for seedling stage - Canna Coco substrate and nutrients - pH and EC/TDS meters - Thermo/Hygro meter

Back plant growing so fast, taller then the other and roots going into the water below already. Small plant up front has been going slower from the start. Slow to poke its head out and look at the light and has been behind ever since.
