Both plants grow with a nice healthy green color and develop well. Barbarian (=AK-47 x Barabara Bud) plant # 2 is a little taller than plant #1 at this time, but both show nice side-branching and overall growth. They love the Advanced Nutrients feeding schedule and are well protected inside the Secret Jardin grow tent.

Hello one and all , happy growing. This week I switched to bloom nutes and the girls have reacted well. The Shogun line up has worked a treat , with no issues since the beginning. There have been a few amputees ,as my mainlining adventures have taken me down the broken-stem-rabbit hole. As many of you know these are resilient creatures and have bounced back but not without a major loss of yield , come harvest. I’m at odds with myself as I find it almost impossible NOT to try LST/HST/ tying down etc. Something has to give and eventually I’ll have to be surgical with my treatment of my beauties. Week 11 All is under control: plants are growing correctly, healthy, deep green… perfect size, a few weeks before flowering cycle; I did a second topping week 10 on everyone (+6 nodes): I would have a maximum size around 150 cm for discretion and space. Still Aphids problem on the Royal Moby and I treated leaves by hand with Soap…making a mistake: too late in the morning so the sun burned some leaves. This insects are still there but the infestation is contained for the moment. I sprayed Neem oil on all plants. Added more soil in each pot : 1.5/2L of humus worm + guano bat. I observed a sort of burn on lhe extremity of leaves: possibly a sign of nitrogen excess. I stopped nutrients for a while, adding just enzyme and Alga Mic. Watering around 1.25L/2 days Daylight 15h30 - 6h25/21h55 Sunny days, cloudy sometimes, windy (NNE) T°= 13ºC N / 21°C D Humidity 67%

So we started feeding them. just some organic growth by BAC and some Calmag. Mostly around the sides of the pots to encourage the roots and start the Microlife overall. We have used nice lukewarm water and added some sugar sirop to activate all the wee beasties. The growth last week was phenomenal although one is going faster than the other. For this reason I changed them around, should climate on that spot have anything to do with that. Now we are looking at other XL runts diaries, to learn from the best performers and copycat their methods to maximize yields with this setup. We will decide if we will just LST them or give them a top... Have to be quick tho, these ladies will flower soon... I am excited to try out this new gorilla cookies from fastbuds. I originally started this setup to compete in the solo cup challenge, but I needed something that will be minimal maintainence and doesn't require hand watering. So this is what I ended up with. I will not be entering since I know it will bring controversy, but I am going to follow the rules and treat this grow as if I am competing. I didn't want to use regular solo cups because last time I had a lot of algae growing in the root zone when I harvested. I opted to use a black light proof cup. These cups were 27 oz originally so I filled them with 16 oz of water, marked the level, then cut them down to 16 oz. I set the drain pipes about an inch from the bottom so they have a little reserve if I have pump or power issues. I know people will see the drains as a way for roots to grow out of the cup but in reality I have to keep the entire pipe free of roots or it will clog and overflow. So I am actually losing a little volume due to this. I filled the bottom inch or so of the cups with river gravel to stop the perlite from washing into the reservoir. I am running a 5 gallon reservoir with a small air pump and the plants will be getting irritated 24 hours a day from an aquarium power head pump. I set the system up to be totally self contained and easily portable. It was all built from things I had laying around other than 97¢ for the cups. I will be keeping the feed simple as always feeding maxigro and maxibloom with a couple flower boosters.

Big round of defoliation. Very excited to see stretch, they seem to have entered it after a few days delay. Been clearing up larf in rounds as well, they're not quite lollipopped but I've developed my colas. Most smaller tertiary branches are gone, unless theyre sturdy and not going to crowd. instead of completely removing offending tertiary branches, i have left a single node with a single growth tip on each to yield bud. Trying to remove only the weak, malformed growth and stuff that crowds.... want long, thick colas. Recharge, fresh Actively Aerated Compost Tea w/ alfalfa meal, organic cal mag only, sometimes just spring water and cal mag ph'd.

14 days since sprout. They became too leggy and I had to put more soil but they look great, the leafes are 2cm in number 1 and number 2, number 3 doesnt seem to be doing so good but thats it for this week

This week we gave them another trim up a tied them down more a today they have bounced back like nothing happened, strong ones they gonna be an so nice an healthy! The Sangria is looking really beautiful, she’s Been flowering for lil over 2 weeks now so we still got a good amount of weeks for her to build a little more but she is already looking amazing, can’t wait for her to be done, smelling delicious! I added an aspirin with one liter of water

Wow wow wow !!! Insane aromas from both. Huge buds are stacking up nicely- a real pleasure to watch them both grow. The Cali is a lot taller than the grapefruit but for what the grapefruit lacks in size she makes up for in buds. It means I have to elevate her up to the same level or there abouts.

Did a medium stress training on 10/15 last few days of week 5 lowering main cola from 17” to 8”. Also dropped mid colas to 8” leveling canopy. 10/17 made some further adjustments as tops and fans flipped upright. Last adjustment 10/18 removed a handful of fans to open all bud sites. Noticing a bit of yellowing watered with 700 tds dr earth bloom. runoff at 6.5 ph down to 1100 tds from last measure of 1400+. 10/18 Added another dose of dr bloom runoff moved to 1240 tds 6.5 ph. Painting Happy trees hopefully. 🙂 10/19 pm let run off settle. tested at 1350 tds 6.82 ph 10/24 finished off the week looking good. nute deficiency in check.

Our beauty is now 4 weeks old and continues to grow strong and healthy. She has already surpassed 18 cm in height, showing excellent progress. The light schedule remains 12/12, and we continue to monitor her response to these conditions. The daytime temperature stays steady at 28°C, nighttime at 21°C, with humidity maintained at 65%. We are consistently feeding her with Xpert Nutrients fertilizers, ensuring she gets all the necessary elements for active growth. Additionally, we are continuing the use of CO2, which, based on our observations, has a positive impact on development. She's looking really good so far and the smell she leaves on your hands after handling her, incredible! Her old fan leaves are dropping off and today is the last day I feed her nutes. It'll just be flushing from now on and checking in on the trichomes every once in a while.

Day 78 - Starting week 12 and tonight is her last night night and she’ll get the axe tomorrow. She’s sitting at about 30-35% amber and looking forward to her finishing up and trying this one. Day 79 - She’s all chopped up and into the drying box for the next 7-10 days. She was a beauty and ended up with 357 grams of wet bud. I’ll finalize the harvest when she’s dried and ready for cure.
