About this diary> So I've made it to the end! This baby didnt die on me! This diary was half a record for myself, to keep improving and contrasting against my future grows in and out of this wonderful platform (growdiaries), and half a tutorial for other noobs like me. That's why I wrote somewhat long explanations about some of the things I myself found confusing during this and last grow. I also repeated myself, but again mostly because I was trying to learn while doing. I got some help from other growers in the community, which was very nice, and different from trying to figuring out everything by oneself. This girl stretched a lot! from about 30 cm at the end of flower to about 90 cm before harvest, it survived nutrient burn, an accident were I dropped something heavy on her on flower, accidentally chopping a branch during LST and spider mites. However, still yielded nicely. I cant imagine what these genetics could become in the hands of a master grower!! About the growing conditions> The idea of the grow was, not only to learn how to grow a somewhat long flowering strain (6 week veg, 10 weeks flower) but also doing it very cheaply. I think the most expensive thing I bought was the seed from RQS. I built my own light fixture (from 4x 4.00CAD COBs from aliexpress), some cardboard, wire, sticks, tape and aluminum foil. I also used dollar store nutrients (like 15% of a 15-15-15 veg mix, and a 15-30-15 flowering mix). I timed this strain to finish a few weeks before the temperature really starts dropping outside, and was always able to keep it around 20-29C without any air conditioner/heater. About growing amnesia haze> I harvested this plant on the early side, but I found it a challenge not to harvest earlier! Since many weeks ago the delicious smell has been filling the room and some parts of the house... Plus, its a long wait... However, I think it was very well rewarded :) As I said, the high is creative, giggly, energetic and uplifting, at least from the premature samples we got. I will update this once the real deal is dry and cured :) About the harvest> Well in terms of numbers, I will update this when the weed is done drying, but I can do an estimate right now... each sample I took weighted about 1.45g wet, and dried to a 25% of that (0.35 g each)... It means that what I weighted from the harvest (412.86g + a bunch of trim) would probably weight about 100g when dry... Let's see how it goes in a week or two :)

OMG guys , won't believe the amazing progress my girl Cosmos has made in just her second week of flowering! She's like a shooting star, bursting with growth and vitality. And let me tell you, in the world of autoflowers, the second week of flowering is like the equivalent of a plant's teenage years. They're growing so fast, trying to figure out who they are and where they fit in, and just generally being a little rebellious. But with Cosmos, it's like she knows exactly what she's doing. Hello Diary. It has completed its sixth week of flowering, a total of 9 weeks since Watermelon sprouted. As can be seen in the photos, most of the leaves have turned yellow and do not look pretty. The consequences are probably over-feeding at some point, plus, the harvest is approaching and the leaves get a more yellowish color. As for the flowers, they look beautiful, have taken on a purple color and are covered with trichomes. The smell is intense. I would like to mention that over-feeding reflected a lot on Watermelon which was not the case with her roommates Purple Punch with whom she shares “Farm”. So I advise future growers to be more careful with adding nutrients. Watering is every three days, I regulate or lower the p.H of water to values ​​between 6.1 and 6.5. And I do that with every preparation of water for irrigation. I stopped adding any additives the previous week so they get clean water. Seeing how the results are, the big ones I made apical and fmi species or the one you cut 3/4 I think they came out in a few days, some just cut the leaf and sprouted, I helped the biggest one with its final production and all of them general the different techniques, although curious results for a beginner, the techniques were not done well, they were cut halfway or only the leaves and not the apex itself ahahahaha, it turned out but very good in the end I would say

Buds are fattening by the day, grow tent has a nice smell of juicy fruit mixed with caramel..definitely interesting. Leaves are starting to turn yellow as the plants are sucking everything out of the soil. Trichromes are looking clustered and almost there, getting some ambers which should give a nice high...harvest next week?..I think so! :)

Well got to the end with a nice harverst. smoke is good.. rosin is better!

Last week I fought some yellowing of the leaves. Did some small adjustments on PH to keep it in the 5.6 range. Seemed to stop it from progressing. For Week 3 Veg I topped the plants. I plan to flip the lights at the end of week 3 and move into flower. Day 15 I continued to have yellowing leaves even though I had everything looking right. (Added Pic). I decided to look into the PH to see if I was having issues with it. I have a meter in the water 100% of the time taking a reading every 1 sec. It all looked right. But I decided to Calibrate it in 4,7,10 solutions. Found out that my meter was off. So new to the check list is to calibrate the meter before each grow. I was thinking my PH was High, when in reality it was low. put in some PH up to get it back to 5.5 and over the last 16 hours things look pretty good. Leaves look darker. Day 17 Things are looking good. Leaves are getting darker and new growth coming in. Day 18 Turned room temp down to 73F from 76F. Fearing it is warming up my res tank too much. Day 19 Starting to get yellowing again. checked everything and can't find a good reason for it. Did notice some cloudiness in my res tank. Added 2 ML/Gal of peroxide. have Hydroguard on the way to help. I'll be adding more fans this weekend. I have light air movement currently. Also found a few spider mites and sprayed Greencleaner to all plants. Current environment settings: Room Temp 72.74 F Room Humidity 63.63% (After spraying, Trending down). Room CO2 589PPM Tank PH 5.70 Tank PPM (500 Scale) 953 Tank Temp 74.05 F Day 20 Recalibrated my EC probe just to be sure it was also accurate. wasn't off by much. Dialed back my flooding to every 5 hours to encourage Rooting. <-- Strong roots = strong Plants Sprayed for mites

Seit dem Einschalten des Lüfters haben die drei gut 20l Wasser verbraucht. 😅 Sie wachsen so unglaublich schnell, dass sie in drei Tagen fast die LED berührt haben. Dadurch leichte Verbrennungen an den Spitzen der Lava Cake. Viel höher darf die Runtz nicht werden, sonst muss ich die Spitze nach unten binden. Das Zelt ist nur 180 cm hoch. Der Lüfter des Filters läuft jetzt schneller mit 50% Leistung. Die Luftfeuchtigkeit lag heute bei 75% und musste aus dem Zelt. Das führt aber auch dazu, dass die Wärme abgesaugt wird. Wird Zeit, dass es draußen konstant wärmer wird. 03. Mai 2025 Die Lüftung habe ich über den Trenntrafo wieder eine Stufe langsamer gestellt. Aber auch vorher lag die Temperatur nachts bei 22°C, also alles im grünen Bereich. Licht: Eine der zwei Sanlight S4W strahlt exclusiv seitlich auf die Runtz. Normalerweise würde ich das nicht so machen, aber die Runtz wächst sehr luftig und hat sehr großen Abstand zwischen den Blättern. Sie sieht gesund aus und wächst gleichmäßig. Die Rückseite der Pflanze zeigt keinen Lichtmangel durch unsymetrisches Wachstum. Eine Beleuchtung von oben wäre aktuell schlechter. Ich muss schon sagen, die Runtz überrascht mich immer wieder und ich mag das zwar hohe aber sehr luftige Wachstum! Die Sleepy Joe und die Lava Cake sind vergleichbar hoch und teilen sich die zweite Sanlight S4W. Auch ihnen geht es gut, etwas größer wachsende Pflanzen sind mir aber lieber. Wasserbrauch: Bisher 30l. Heute den kleinen Tank mit 20l Wasser inkl. 64 ml Canna Aqua Flores aufgefüllt. 34 ml pro 10l bei hartem Wasser gemäß Rechner von Canna. Beim letzten Grow habe ich noch pH-down verwendet, das ist laut Canna nicht nötig und funktioniert aktuell perfekt! Canna: "Es sind pH-Stabilisatoren enthalten die ein Einstellen des pH-Werts unnötig machen." Und sie sind nicht übertrieben dunkelgrün durch zu viel Stickstoff. 😱

La tierra que utilizamos que está en la publicación anterior es top crop all mix, aparte alimentamos nuestras plantas con Agrobeta. Por supuesto el ph se mide en cada riego y se mantiene en 6.2, regando cada 48/72 horas e intentando mantener la humedad un poco alta al principio. Se ven bien sanas tienen buen color , ya empiezan asomar aromas y el tamaño bueno no puedo quejarme, estas semanas vemos como maduran las flores.
