finally they are in flower! Yay final foliar spray applied. They are still smelling like chocolate and peanut butter. Did not get 1 drop of rain this week. It is getting so frustrating plants are 1/4 what they should be this year.

Sep 20: Lemon Cream Kush smells great and the buds are looking really nice. Nice big and hard buds covered in white trichomes. Life is good. Did a second flush as the buds need another week and I like how the first flush went. Otherwise just pHed water.

Increased the amount of nutrients in the feed this week and got a little bit of burn on V, Nemo handled it no problem! removed the yellow spotted fan leafs as part of general defoliation for this point in flower. Continuing to pluck and tuck, meaning removing extra fan leafs (plucking) and bending tallest colas back under the scrog (tuck). shooting to keep all budsights 18 to 22 inches from the light to prevent burn and allow healthy development. I can see where proper distance has been kept best development has occured.

6/7 Done a load more training tonight. That's it for the next week or so. 8/7 found some mammoth P, it's 2 years old so not sure how the viable it still is. But I'll give it a try and see. 10/7 introduced some molasses today at a rate of 5ml/L. There are some pre flowers starting to form now hence the introduction of molasses 12/7 nearing the end of week 4. Nice even canopy except for one that I topped. The canopy is thanks to the LST that I did on them. Trying to keep them the same height so the light reach and penetration will be uniform across the whole tent.

This week went good, she is still stretching and up to 36 inches tall. I switched over to flower nutrients and defoliated a handful of leaves. Just going to sit back and let her stack flowers. Day 72 - 07/01/20 This one was the only survivor of my 4 x RQS diary. my blueberry auto, jack herer auto and GG auto didnt sprout but the diesel did and here is her harvest! I added some nice photos of the plant and the yield was 325g wet weight. Should be over an ounce once its dried. Update - Dry weight was 30g although much of the bud is small :) Ive been curing for a few days and its insane how the flavour and burn changes throughout curing :) Update - Day 78 - 13/01/20 The sweet diesel smell and taste is coming through. buds are becoming more and more enjoyable to smoke as days go by. :) il post a few pictures later tonight! Day 86 - 21/01/20 I finally finished the NYCD after about 2 weeks of curing. It smokes fairly well and is definitely the best thing ive grown so far :) Buds developed quality and a sweet earthy diesel flavour/aroma over the 2 weeks of curing. one major improvement i would make is to source high quality soil as i really struggled to flush this properly. even still without lab quality conditions ive never felt so depression free since ive been taking this medicine regularly. to finish up i will say that I liked the NYCD diesel taste but i still preferred sour diesel. The plant grew to a reasonable height around 60cm and produced an ounce of average bud. and I might not have won any GD competitions, but im still a winner! :'D Lucky for us I just started an Sour Diesel Auto from fastbuds so you can check that out to see what i thought of it compared to this one :)
