Welcome back once again to my DWC tutorial for beginners like Me. As this grow is drawing to an end I decided that this week I'll run back thru the topics I previously discussed for a bit of revision . Firstly I'll mention the plants progress. The Blue cheese auto is almost ready to pick , The calyxes are swelling and the trichomes are mostly clouded now with a few amber. I will let her run thru until monday the 9th before starting the flushing process with some flawless finish. This go for aprox 2 days and then I'll just run her on plain water until the end of week 7 Unless She's ready before then She's Drinking nutes still and I've dosed her up with the last of the liquid guano concentrate . Now for some revision of what we have already discussed . *Week 1* I showed how to make some bubble buckets with full instructions and pictures *Week 2 *Was all about water chemistry and that Cannabis prefers to be in a range from 5.5 - 6.5 when growing in hydroponics *Week 3* Was about the importance of keeping your tds and ph meters calibrated and working properly *Week 4* All about nutrient mixing and how to prepare a nutrient solution *Week 5* was all about how the plant contracted rust fungus and how over the coarse of just one week and the use of sulfur I overcame the issue and the plant won *Week 6* Was the weekly care guide for new growers Basically explaining the care you must provide from day to day to keep the plant healthy *Week 7* Was all about the optimum environment and conditions your plants will need to thrive We discussed the use of fans etc to keep the grow area cool etc *Week 8* Pests and diseases that can attack your plants we discuss the ways to combat this *Week 9* No tutorial just a full plant update with pics *Week 10* was about nutrient problems and deficiencies how to read what your plants are telling you and how to either prevent or fix any problems *Week 11* was about the plants trichomes and how to tell when the optimum harvest times by watching their development. Ideally you want them Clouded with a few amber . but this will differ from user to user and from strain to strain. *Week 12* was a revision of the previous weeks and next week will be the final plant pics before harvest . **Vegetation Phase - Week 1** The Donutz ladies have officially stepped into their first week of vegetative growth. After a strong start, we’ve gently introduced a small dose of Greenhouse Feeding Bio nutrients to begin supporting early growth. Watering remains minimal, as these young plants aren’t thirsty yet — they’re steadily finding their stride, with roots spreading through the Floragard Growmix soil. **Environment & Care**: - **Water**: Lightly administered reverse osmosis (RO) water keeps things clean and precise. - **Nutrients**: A hint of Greenhouse Feeding Bio fertilizer to nudge growth along without overwhelming. - **Conditions**: Temperature and humidity kept stable for optimal root and shoot development. **Plant Progress**: - All 10 Donutz are healthy and showing strong vigor, with consistent growth. - Leaves are vibrant and lush, indicating proper photosynthesis and nutrient uptake. - We can almost imagine their roots spreading through the rich Floragard soil, exploring and establishing themselves, while above ground, they’re standing strong and ready to keep pushing upward. The sea is calm but promising; each young Donutz is primed to expand and flourish. The tent remains a harmonious environment, setting the stage for an epic SOG canopy. Patience and gentle care continue to be key as they find their rhythm in this new life.

Zu Beginn der vierten Vegetationswoche habe ich die Pflanzen umgetopft. Leider habe ich dabei einige Fehler gemacht und den Pflanzen zu viel Kompost unter die Erde gemischt, sodass die Erde zu scharf wurde und der pH-Wert nicht stimmte. Auch die Temperaturen am neuen Standort haben nicht gepasst, und ich musste erst die richtige Einstellung für die Beleuchtung finden. Schlussendlich habe ich die Erde noch einmal komplett ausgetauscht, das Growzelt in einen wärmeren Raum gestellt und die LED-Lampe läuft jetzt auf 100W. Inzwischen erholen sich die Pflanzen langsam wieder von den Strapazen und gewinnen zunehmend an Vitalität.

Flowering day 22 since time change to 12/12 h. Hey guys :-) Another great week that is over. They all develop exactly as it should be 💚. Since the last leaf and substrate application against tripse, I finally haven't seen any of the little biters 👍. Watering was done twice this week with 1.3 l each time (see table above for nutrients). The lowest shoots were removed so that the energy is not wasted in the lower part :-) . Otherwise, as always, everything was cleaned and checked. Fresh osmosis water was filled with stale tap water in a 100 L tank for the coming week 👍. I got a new light for these ladies cause it was clear my other lights weren’t doing justice. I went with an affordable option which was a Lumii black 600w HPS light. It made the temp reach 44 degrees luckily I checked on my plant about an hour later and they were looking really sad but they were okay once I moved my tent closer to the window. My temps went down to 33 degrees Celsius which is still to hot PLEASE tell me how I can get This down guys 😭😭😭😭!!! Anyway they were okay before that growing beautifully and very healthy before I got the new light. I can definitely see the different in intensities

Been a joy too grow this tester , been healthy from start too finnish , green buzz nutrients kept this plant healthy and productive , this plant is slowly begening too ripen , so next week the flush will begin on her , I will hopefully get another 2 weeks out of her yet , so a nice two week flush ,

This week I did a single topping at the 5th node. Along with this I applied low stress training and tucking to expose the new growth.

Beautiful pair of phenos of Badaz og cheese very excited about what strain is gonna offer me in terms of quality buds, so excited to see what is every of this 2 phenos gonna be like, I really hope that both of them have the exact terpenes profile and the same potency! Not a bad week at all. Something unexpected caused me to transplant this auto earlier than I normally would have. Her roots were not as long as I would have liked but, what can you do?

Aug 9: defoliated again to remove lower branches and shaded fan leaves that can prevent air circulation. She is doing great with the buds thickening fast. Starting to get smelly too. Got the UV lights out today. This helps Edmonton in August or September be more like California in June or July. Maybe not that effective but that’s the idea. Second year using the UV lights and worked great last year. Aug 10: UV lights going again today.
