Hello, Day 47, 48, and day 49, Flower Phase , PGK, Everything looks fine, seems ok for the moment. RH is high these days, very near to harvest and i am going to finish this grow after 10-12 weeks or Day 70-84. also gave 2nd dose of NPK (0.6-3-3).Thanks. A lot more happening this week! As shown in the pics, and as suspected, I have a manganese deficiency. I've been keeping my pH level at 6.2 in coco, manganese is taken up best by the plant below 6.0 pH. Dropping my ph level to 5.8 pH, and flushing with lower pH, hopefully it will solve the issue over the course of a few days. I made a new frame for a SCROG, with a "custom bend" in the CPVC pipe on both ends. The bend will allow me to take advantage of the slack material in the sides of my 4x4 tent. I'd previously taken 4" out of all the upright poles to shorten the tent so it would fit in the room due to low ceilings, meaning I had extra slack in my tent walls. The bend in the net frame pushes the sides of the tent out to 5 foot wide. My first SCROG net was a 6" mesh from Amazon, immediately knew I wanted a smaller mesh. Next time around I built my own with a 4" mesh and used the 4" for several grows. This time I decided to go with an even smaller, 3" mesh, and already I like it better. I don't really see myself going much smaller than 3" mesh though. It seems to work well, and any smaller and it may be too tight trying to work the plant through the opening sometimes, which if not careful, will damage the plant. I usually use a & gal cloth pot, grow off rules stated we 0had to use a 5 gal pot. Seeing as I only had 7 gal on hand, I was stuck picking up a Root Farm 5 gal cloth pot locally, as you can see, the roots didn't really stay contained, nor did they "air prune", i had to tear them off before installing the net above. On the last day of week 6 I finally got my net installed, and the plant SCROGged. I should have put the net in place a week or two earlier, it would have been easier to manipulate the plant, however the plant will still have a week to recover. I tie the net in place above the plant, and slowly lower it down, as I bend and super crop the main stalk over parallel to the net, and work all the branches underneath and spread them out. As the plant grows I'll continue to push branches back down through the net and moving them out to the next hole. This will greatly increase yields by allowing light to more bud sites, keeping all buds the same height and thus the same distance from the light. small budsites on a vertical branch, will transform into their own cola once the branch is laid on its side. Instead of a Christmas tree type of plant, with one large main cola, and smaller and smaller buds as you move further down the plant, you end up with a bunch of colas that are all close to the same size, and more importantly, the same level of maturity. The SCROG method, combined with super cropping, and defoliation has greatly increased my yields. As the plant is getting worked into the net, I'll defoliate where necessary, ie a huge fan leaf covering bud sites, however for the next several weeks I'll be defoliating so mush every night or two, systematically trimming off all fan leaves, and stripping everything below the net, and any small bud sites that wont produce well. Usually by the time I'm half way through the flower stage there are no big fan leaves left to be found. It helps with light penetration, which results in a higher quality, higher quantity yield, as well as airflow, which will help prevent White Powdery Mildew and other molds etc. Once a fan leaf is 14 days old, its ability to photosynthesize light, starts to degrade. Once it reaches a certain point, the leaf drains more energy from the plant, than it's giving the plant. My best yields have been from heavily defoliated plants, my last grow I couldn't physically defoliate quite as heavily as usual, and I ended up about 25-30% less bud than expected

Day 67. Will give her a couple more days. Flushed middle of the week and removed all fan leaves.

Days 35-42 (Day 36) Some minor problems starting to arise here. A few times this week it got up to 90+ degrees which I think may have caused a bit of heat stress in some of the plants. I’m seeing a bit of cupping/crinkles on some of the fan leaves and some of the new growth is looking pretty gnarled and twisted. I hear windburn can cause this too so I’m turning my fans down to low speed. This could also be a problem with humidity so I’m going to turn off my humidifier, dim the lights and raise them. During my last feeding I mulched in some worm castings but it seems like they’re keeping the soil/coco from drying out. Pots are still decently heavy and even the surface is still quite moist but they aren’t showing any major signs of overwatering. I figure it will only be a few weeks before the castings break down so I will just leave it. A few of the plants are starting to show yellowing leaf tips which is probably some kind of micro nutrient lockout from my PH being slightly too high. It could also be from nute burn so I will water in 6.0 until I see some runoff. Although the most likely culprit is potassium excess. I’ve been feeding potassium almost as much as nitrogen so far. I know that can cause the yellowing of leaf tips by locking out trace minerals. It can also cause leaf problems like crinkling. Excess K can even cause water retention! Will water at 6.0 until run off next watering. The lst is coming along nicely. It was a good idea to remove the first two sets of branches (not leaves). Now I have 4-6 perfectly even stems coming from each plant that I plan to top one more time each. (Day 37) Today I’m going to vacuum, clean, wipe down and spray all my equipment in the tent. I’ve been letting the floor get quite dirty and I haven’t had the chance for a thorough clean since last round. I’m kind of surprised I haven’t seen any powdery mildew yet. I guess the prevention spray is working because the room has to be infected from my last crop. (Day 40) I was reading that you can foliar spray whatever you are deficient in for an immediate uptake. I‘m going to try that with my current potassium excess since it locks out trace minerals. I’m going to foliar feed a bit of phytoplankton at 15ml/L and some MagnifiCal + VeloKelp from Remo nutrients both at 5ml/L. The cal mag is not organic but as long as it’s not going into the soil and doesn’t contain chlorine I’m fine with it. I’m also going to be changing the light cycle to 18/6 for the remainder of veg. This will be their first dark cycle so they can properly foliar feed. Edit: humidity shot up to 85% a few hours after foliar spray. I went to top dress everything today and I mixed up the plants while doing so! So the ones I was unsure about I gave 1 extra tablespoon. I won’t top dress again for at least 10 days. Might give a light tea sometime next week. I also tilled the shit out of the top of each pot. It had a hard crusty layer on top that was keeping the medium from drying out properly. I’m not going to water again until everything is bone dry. Then I will water until slight runoff at 6.0 ph with some Dr. Marijane bacteria/root probiotic. I’m starting too see a lot more of these abrasions on some of the bigger fan leaves. It almost looks like thrip damage but I’m 100% sure it’s not a pest above ground. It could be bulb mites, which I found in my worm castings but I can’t check until the roots are more established in their pots. The leaves themselves are cold and feel damp to the touch. I haven’t even seen a fungus gnat since I last fed. I’m hoping it’s related to the K excess and clears up with the troubleshooting. (Day 41) Just ordered a wire cube rack to prop my plants up with and help evaporation/root warmth. Each cube is 11.8”x11.8”x11.8” and it comes with 16 cubes. So it will fit just perfectly in my 4x4. Depending on the size, I might order another one for the flower room where I would need 25 cubes.

She's looking beautiful on her first day of life. Looks like a she's gonna be a good plant, hope to make a nice bush and fill up my room with beautiful sativa bushes in this indoor run. Let's see how she performs 💎💚👨‍🌾

Day 42 from sprout. I been torn on if I'm going to transplant again. I know that since i am doing an organic grow its all about that soil and its microbes. I feel I been doing pretty good with these 3 gallon pots so far and only got a 2x4x6 to grow in. That being said I did top dress today 2-11 with my gaia green fertilizers and did a bit of defoliation. They lookin like their 60 year old blind Auntie cut their hair and look mangled but I just defoliated an hr before I took these pics. I am considering on transplanting to 5 gal before i flip to flower in about a month but not sure yet.

Las fotos que ven corresponden al día 01/10/24 y, como pueden ver, están llenas de terpenos y tricomas por todas partes. Tanto la Fruit Gum como la Biscotti x Candy Rain son dos de las cepas más resinosas que he cultivado y, además, desprenden un olor increíblemente fuerte. La Fruit Gum tiene esos toques dulces y nostálgicos, como a chicle de mascar, que me transportan directamente a mi infancia. En cuanto a la Biscotti x Candy Rain, su aroma es como el de una clásica galleta americana casera, ¡muy intenso! Ambas cepas me están impresionando mucho por su resinosidad y aromas únicos. Cabe destacar que las genéticas de Uktha Genetics me han sorprendido gratamente; los resultados están siendo fantásticos. Eso sí, estas cepas comen como camiones, pero mientras se mantenga un control exhaustivo de las fertilizaciones y del medio de cultivo, no hay problema de sobrefertilización. Pronto cortaremos una de las plantas que está bastante adelantada. Espero que disfruten tanto como yo este proceso y, como siempre, ¡buenos humos para todos! 🌱💨

Ideally you want to drastically up your PK Week 5 of flower. Unfortunately adding PK late last week forced me to ramp up by 2ml/gal every day until 9 ml/gal to avoid shocking the plants. These plants were growing super bushy despite being Sativa dominant. Definitely played it too safe Week 3, gonna go heavy next run.

I am awaiting her soil to dry out and I will be transferring her to the 25 gallon pot. She is ready for flowering.

Had to Chop. Consistent RH of 65% the last few days. Dont want to risk the single plant to be moldy. In better environment I would have gave her another week to ripen. Smells very loud! Fruity, tropical smell with gassie Zoap. Very excited to smoke it. Will dry it in the tent. Currently at 62.3% RH + 22C (cant get it cooler). Will Update after 2 weeks cure 🙏🏼

Probably toss it in next week I tie them down constantly LSD is beautiful Green Gelato has grown wild Royal Gorilla is very bushy Hulk Berry has long strong Branches with minimal side branching...That is why I am vegging it longer March 9th Everything is going awesome at the end of week 1 of flowering -All plants are in 4x4 tent -If anyone has any questions let me know

WEEK 10 - FLOWERING: Tropical Maturation ​🌼 FLOWERING PROGRESS We are now in the 10th week (6th week of flowering), and the Papayton is showing impressive development. The buds are visibly gaining weight and density every day. The resin production is in full swing, covering the flowers in a thick, sticky layer of crystals. It’s great to see how the plant is putting all its energy into the final flower formation. ❄️ ​👃 TERPENES & AROMA The tropical scent is becoming much more defined this week. There is a strong, sweet papaya aroma that dominates the tent, perfectly complemented by a creamy finish. The Top-Max is clearly doing its job in bringing out these exotic fruit notes as the plant matures. 🍦 ​💧 NUTRIENT FEEDING & WATERING The feeding schedule remains at a high level to provide all the necessary building blocks for the final ripening process. The focus is on maximizing terpene development and resin output. ​Current Feeding Schedule: Calmag: 1.5 ml/l Acti-Vera: 5 ml/l Bio-Heaven: 5 ml/l Bio-Bloom: 4 ml/l Top-Max: 5 ml/l Bio-Grow: 1 ml/l

She looks great and smells amazing.

This multi strain grow was interrupted and they were left alone for four weeks with only light and water. This was the biggest of all plants, she needed more water than she got and has suffered. When I got back to her she was only just survive. Leaves had turned brown and dropped, crunchy to touch. But, despite this mistreatment here she is producing some nice buds for me. Aroma is of very sweet berry but sour too. Remind me of strawberry cough chews. Buds are light and not dense at all, lots of of them though easily twice as many as the next strain. I think this would be a favourite for the guys who extract rosin. Lot of frosting, trimming looks difficult I won't lie, I cannot look forward to this trim. Mainly as leaves have died in the bud so unless I trim tight it will effect the smoke so I will have to be careful. If you want to grow be aware of the stretch, very sativa structured plant will need some room or training. She needs a week more than other strains to finish maybe two. Sativa usually do.
