Next time, I won't use it. 19.5.25. Northern lights had got quite bushy, and there were a lot of extra leaves covering up some prime budsites. So I went ahead and Defoliated some of the larger fan leaves that were covering and blocking out other buds. The plants are growing very fast. The buds are getting very nicely structured. Northern Lights is drinking about 3 l per day, and I will continue to use the Greenleaf nutrients sea kelp and Ecothrive Biosys, along with the Ecothrive trace For the calcium, magnesium and trace elements. She has indeed stopped stretching now and is focusing on the bud formations. It's a very lovely smell, too! 😋 I use these all the way through. ☆ Xpert Nutrients PH down, up to 1ml. ☆ Ecothrive Neutralise 1 drop per litre from the 1ml pipette, which is attached. This is my dechlorinator. 21.5.25: I defoliated today again. This time, I took a little more off than I did yesterday as things had become congested, and the buds in the centre weren't getting any light. I got covered in sticky...ness?! I forgot to wear gloves, but for some reason, my non dominant hand got covered in resin and the other, not at all. Anyway, I hope I've managed to include the before defoliation and after videos/photos. I think it's much better after, there's so many buds I couldn't even see in the centre! I probably should have done it sooner, but I was trying hard to take as little as possible this run. Anyway, this is the prime bud building period. So, taking the leaves covering all the centre colas will not only provide equal light penetration but also get rid of some of the nutrients stored in the leaves. So, any nutrients available in the remaining leaves can deplete to a happy medium. That being said, we're coming close to the end of mid flowering. The plants are still drinking at least 2 litres per day. They are increasingly thirsty, and it's important that I don't let them dry out. The soil is mostly coco and perlite, so it can dry out quicker. There are plenty of worm castings, too, so that definitely helps. Vamos familia, actualizamos la tercera semana de floración de estas Frosty tooth de Seedstockers, aplicamos varios productos de Agrobeta, que son increíbles para aportar una buena alimentación a las plantas. Temperatura y humedad dentro de los rangos correctos dentro de la etapa de floración. La tierra utilizada es al mix top crop, por cambiar. De 5 ejemplares seleccioné los 3 mejores para completar el indoor y trasplanté directamente a macetas de 7 litros, el fotoperiodo a 12/12, aplique una poda de bajos, se ven bien sanas las plantas, tienen un buen color y progresan a muy buen ritmo por el momento, las plantas ya empezaron a formar las flores. D 78 and she is in her dark period flushing. She hasn’t been feed in a few days. And so it begins. I want to head and added her first set of ice to her soil and she’s going to go ahead and start the ice flashing. She is so frosty she’s just dripping I can’t even with her. Sweet seeds just really knocked her out of the park. She smells just so sweet I cannot even wait.

Buds are really coming on now. Stretch is slowing. Very happy with the new lights and fan. Not sure I'll do scrog next time as its hard to keep up with all the grow and pruning/defoliation required. Adjusted my lights to get everyone even coverage. Light meter would be nice at some point!

Day22: As said in Week3, I will not keep this perspective for the whole grow, as it doesn't really show the size of the plant. But it gives a nice view of how to top leaves grow :) The flashes that you see in the video is the humidifier. It pumps out vapour every hour for 15mins. So basically a quarter of each second of the video will be when the humidifier runs. Day23: I changed it, as I wanted to see the size as well. Day24 - Day28: Happy, healthy growth.

Flushing

The temperatures, humidity, height, and watering volume(if measured) in grow conditions are all averaged for the week. The pH is soil pH. Any watering done by me is well water which is 7.6 pH and 50° F. Any listed nutrients are ml/gallon of soil to be spread evenly on top of the soil. Day 1 we had high temperature of 87°F with partly cloudy to cloudy skies. I watered 3-4 gallons from the hose. I added 100 ml of blood meal spread evenly across the top of the soil. Day 2 We had a high temperature of 85°F. It rained the previous night and intermittently raining and thunderstorms today. I did get these trained a little this morning. It's not finished, but I took some foliage off and opened them up by tying the branches to stakes arranged on the outside of the pots. I finished topping off these pots with soil that is premixed with nutrients. The rain is watering today. Day 3 we had a high temperature of 73°F and all day rain. The rain was what remained of hurricane Beryl. There was a lot of wind up to 20 miles per hour. These girls handled it and loved the rain. Day 4 we had clear sunny skies and a high temperature of 85°F. I fed 150 ml feather meal , 30 ml Plant Tone, and 50 ml Coop Poop. I watered 3-5 gallons from the water hose. Day 5 we had a high temperature of 86°F and partly cloudy skies. Plants #2and #3 developed powdery mildew on their lower leaves. I'm going to treat for the next 5 days with Arber organic biofungicide. I ran the fertilizer a little hot the girls are clawing and super dark green this evening Day 6 we had a high temperature of 85 with partly cloudy skies. Day 7 we had a high temperature of 86°F. This morning we had plenty of rain and wind. No need for watering. The skies were mostly cloudy to partly cloudy in the evening. This week was a success. We had lots of rain, cool nights and humidity. This caused the #2 and #3 plant to develop powdery mildew. This is the challenge here on the Ozark Plateau. We are strictly organic. We use no systemic fungicides and the only pesticide we use is occasionally is organic pyrethrin spray. That said, now that we've identified the plants that don't have immunity, we'll treat with Arber bio fungicide. This treatment will last 5 days then they have to make it with what they were born with. Also the nutrients ran a little hot on them. That and the several hours of rain depriving them of iron has their centers looking rough. They'll be better next week.

31.12.24: I have been readjusting the LST pegs and wire daily. Sometimes, twice a day! (I know, too much time on my hands)! 😆 The plants have responded fantastically! I'm so glad I gave it a go. Some plants have been a bit too tall, and I snapped Do-sì-dos P3, pulling the stem down. Audibly snapped 😬I let it be, though. It seems to have healed mostly, in only 2 days. I have increased the lighting to 70%. They're getting watered a few times a week, with 1 litre of Dechlorinated water, containing the following nutrients and additives; 1ml of Biobizz Bio-Grow, 1ml Biobizz Top Max, 1ml of Biobizz Bloom, 2ml of cal-mag, 1g of Ecothrive Biosys. The plants are responding well to this concoction, so it's all good so far. The leaves are looking greener and are getting darker. Will be monitoring to continue readjusting the LST ties. Also, to monitor the increased lighting level, to make sure they can handle that yet. 1.1.25: Happy New Year! I have continued to readjust the LST wire and plant pegs. Several times a day. Coincidence would have it, I have a 6ft tropical aquarium which was time for cleaning! I always water my Acer tree in the front yard with this water, with beautiful results 😍 👌 🍁 I decided to try it out in my indoor garden. I'll post photos of before and after to see the difference, good or bad 😅 3.1.25: Plants are doing very well, except for PPP3 I'm quite disappointed in that one, as I feel like it's wasting a space. I guess I'll have to keep it, along with the Do-sì-dos that I snapped twice, which refuses to die 😅 I started to lightly defoliate, which is difficult because I always get carried away with it. I'm going to water again with the nutrients in description of this week. 4.1.25: Continuing to defoliate and adjust the LST pegs and wire. Watered today with 1ltr of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.0. With the following nutrients;- 2ml Biobizz Bloom, 4ml Biobizz Bio-Grow, 2ml Cal-Mag, 2ml Ecothrive Flourish, 0.2 g/ltr of Ecothrive Biosys. I've increased the Nitrogen by adding double the amount of Biobizz Bio-Grow. I'm trying to keep them growing for as long as possible! Day 43 (Second Grow, Flowering Phase): Hey everyone! We’re well into day 43 of our second grow and deep into the flowering phase. 🌸 The transition has been amazing to witness, with our plants showing significant bud development. The plants are producing beautiful, dense buds, and it’s incredible to see the daily changes and the rapid development. We’ve been maintaining the humidity between 50-60%, but we’re keeping a close eye on it to prevent any issues. We’re considering whether to get a dehumidifier to bring it down to the ideal 40-50%. The SCROG net continues to work wonders, ensuring even light distribution and supporting the heavy buds. Our Timor shield mantis is still patrolling the garden, keeping pests at bay naturally. She’s become quite the guardian! The plants are looking healthy and vibrant. We're excited to see how they continue to develop over the coming weeks. Any tips or advice for optimizing this stage?
