Something is annoying with this app. I cant take pics with it. Hopefully it just the app permissions. Nothing too exciting yet this week. #2 has been struggling getting adjusted to the new pot. Where #1 took off. Idk what the difference is apart from the training methods. Having said that I have topped number 2 and fimmed her lower branches hoping that a little encourage root growth.. I've also had to do a bit of re arranging. So these are now elevated the highest and under mostly 2x 50w auto cobs. They both have supplemental lighting coming from the 2 viparspectra LEDs I have near them. Day 52: Watered both the girls today. They're drinking fast! I water till slight runoff and they get about 2.5 gallons every 36hrs or so. Also we raised the cobs a bit up to 24" from them. Day 53 & 54 Nothing to say for day 53. Maybe I think #1 is getting a bit rootbound. I say this only because her leaves are curled like they are over watered yet the plant is dry. And she went in a growth spurt last week. Day 54 I picked up some soil for transplant tomorrow. I am putting #1 into a 10gal bag. #2 I haven't decided yet. Day 55: I transplanted #1 today into a 10gallon fabric smartpot. I mixed the bottom soil with Fox Farms Ocean Forest because we are getting ready to flip to bloom and ocean forest has more P&K and less N. And that's what we want. Hopefully she doesn't shock. I inoculated #1s roots with Azos during transplant. Applying it gently and directly onto the roots.

2024 November 7: First cold freeze of the year, Last photo shoot before harvest, wow. First ever outdoor grow for me, no rain cover, no greenhouse. Watered with rainwater collected from the roof plus the nutrients. The plant blended in quite nicely to the environment. The smell was quite nice, not too disturbing and i was smelling it just when i was close to the plant. I harvested the plant and washed the buds, it needs more manicure than any other plant i came across with due to the small green leaves... Still beautiful plant, beautiful buds, what a journey, what a monster lady!

July 27: she has started preflowering already so I’m going to go with just phyto-forcing with a far red 730 nm light for a few seconds at dusk each night. This will be easier than putting them in the garage for 12 h a night for three weeks. This is a good trick for northern growers. July 30: doing great and seems to be flowering so all is good. Video shows how easy it is to make lazy compost tea which the plants definitely love. July 31: watered in early evening with compost tea. Aug 1: I’m a total tea convert now. Plants always love it.

Buds start swallen and trichomes start cloudy but not yet amber.. Will let her to get amber 10% trichomes , and then start to flushing straight 2 weeks with ph-ed tap water 5.5. Hopefully by next week can start the flushing and finish this run. Cant wait🤞!!

day 42 images are in last week, I can not count XD. bridal is stacking a lot of weight and is constantly shifting/leaning every morning, good things. I would chop any day but I will wait it out. water, tiny bit of humic and folvic to reduce chloromine, chlorine- air stones day 45 took a few nugs off on day 42, dried for 3 days. Tried bridal and blackberry. As a heavy recreational, thc is up there! bridal felt like having a blindfold over your eyes somewhat sativa uplift but heavy weight feelings. Very good. Lasted as good as 30%'s. Dr. Thunder was also very nice, nug was smaller so mixed with blackberry to have a small j. Also feels very good indica. Both trials were chopped on week 6 day 1. Very pleased with the results. I was worried bridal was more sativa; which charasteristica I am not looking for. So I believe this is a very good heavy hitter run with 4 plants. I can chop any day, but I am waiting for pink paradise to finish seeds. day45 took top nugs from bridal party, blackberry oreo bigstuff and dr. thunder. The best quality cannabis I have grown so far. Sweet and smooth with a mellow, balanced and creative high. Nuggs look amazing after 12 days curing. Shame I don't have any more seeds, will def grow again. RQS done a great job. 123 Gram of top quality bud and 32 Gram of trim for hash. Sincere thanks to the grow diaries community. In just over a year I have learned enough to grow top quality medicine at a fraction of what I would normally pay. Plus, it's such an interesting hobby! I will continue giving to this great community. This plant is mother nature's gift to us all.

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. 07/15/2025 Started veg week by transplanting an AK 2.0 into a 20 gallon fabric pot others will be going into 3 gallon nursery pot. The 20 gallon fabric pot is in second year of growing, is amended with Carbon G (Lesco) worm castings and other organic stuff I can't remember, (Coast of Maine Stonington Blend 5-2-4) plant food and top pot off with Coast of Maine Stonington Blend soil, but I want to make it a no till type bed. I've also been watering pots with BIO-REMEDY to insure plenty of microbial activity in plants root zone and nemetodes too! See ya next week.

So another week and some more thickening and ripening. The smell is like blueberry on one and the others are sweet as well. Slightly different smell to each. Watering when dry still at pH 6-6.6 and monitoring overall plant trichomes. At this point it's autopilot to the end. No more feeding with slow release and will slowly flush the remaining food out next few weeks. I like my trichomes to have some amber, not too much but mostly cloudy with some amber. Seems like most will be dense, except one plant I've called corona virus. It has smaller buds but are really resinous and smelly. Cheers and happy growing!
