No signs of flowering yet, maybe slight formation of calxys beginning. Been spraying with molasses, neem, cal mag and liquid kelp (bioweed) and superthrive just once to hopefully delay flowering to increase yield. P.S. if youre new at growing DO NOT try this unless you know what your doing with hormones etc. Theres a chance it can turn your girls hermie. Just be aware!

Mar 24: Watering till runoff now... runoff ppm was 2500+... Will be using very mild nutes to flush over 1 - 3 feeds... or until I am near my input. Mar 26: Continuing to use 650ppm feed with bloom focus, 2L per plant gives 15% runoff... Runoff ppm is still very high... I wanted to check pH of runoff but the color is so vibrant i cant use the pH drops to view color, need to get a pH probe. Plants are thriving, no issues at all. the extra fan fixed the post-water droop. One plant is bushy and has the most bud sites, One is the smallest but has the most uniform structure, this one has the biggest buds and thickest stalk, One is about in the middle of the 2. Mar 29: one of these girls gets droopy early when its time for water, thought the canopy was too high so i tied down some more, no cigar... gonna try increasing calmag, if that doesent work im going to reposition in the grow box to a side instead of middle, may not need the upper end ppfd...

9 weeks and 5 days to harvest. Will update later when it's all weighed and cured.

the plants also being of the same strain have made three different buds. The first three photos are of the top left plant, the next three are of the top right plant and the last are of the center plant. In addition to the marked flavors, there is also a note of pine.

This strain really impressed me and cant wait to start one in a 3 gal pot to see her full potential. For only being grown in a 1 gallon pot she produced a whopping 510 grams after being wet trimmed and should pull over a quarter pound once dried. buds smelly very sweet with a hint of some funk

now that the plant has fully recovered it is growing nicely, i will leave it for min. 2 more weeks before I flip to flower. I have decreased light intensity to encourage some stretch.

It's done...another one chopped. What a challenge this one. If you follow my grows, you know I love Royal Queen Seeds. I consistently have the best result with RQS strains, plus their services are always great. That being said I had much expectation for this Strain. What can I say... for the good point, it smells very sweet, fruity and yields giant long cola, fuuuulll of flower, very sticky and faty faty. . So densily packed that comes with some issues. First its always demanding for more K, a lot of top leaves yellowing that was hard to control. A long flower period for an auto and it suffered a lot with bud rot ( white mold, not the black one) It was a first to me. Tried everything from cutting parts to h202 direct on top of the damaged areas but with no success. That being said I've lost a lot of flower because of it and had to cut at least a week sooner than I wanted.. I will face this challenge again in a near future. The plant without the root ball weighed 1.2kg. It's drying know, so let's wait to see what we got... Overall one of the most productive plants I've tried, as one of the biggest buds I've seen in these colas. Thank you James and RQS for all the support. You guys are great and a major contribution for the cannabis world.

All is going well so far in this grow. She seems to be avoiding the sohum and keeping her roots in the happy frog. Wish I had added perlite to the sohum first to make watering easier. Using a spray bottle to moisten the soil first seems to help with watering.

I been ill for 3 weeks so i am back again with the Green Poison and Auto Trippin 25 plants. From some strong GP i am going to take some Clones and the rest 12/12. AT25 already in flowering week 2, some of them in 6 Liter and some in 10 Liter pots. I was too late with transplanting them from 1 Liter into bigger pots thats why some of them are pretty small.

Week 3. Botanicare is working wonders. I went ahead and topped at the third node. And started giving plants full grow nutes. The Banana Biscotti looks so good I might clone it. The Ice Dream Cake hasn’t bounced all the way back yet.

The plant was watered once with 1 litre of water with Bio Enhancer from GHF. I forgot to put the greenhouse lid back on the plant in the middle of the first week and the little one got burnt. Nevertheless, it continues to grow well and recovered very quickly after the cover was put back on. The plant does not yet smell.

Hello growers and welcome to week 6. I expect Queen Citronella to gain a lot of height this week. I will be doing the measurements shortly, but first I wanted to share some news! Queen Citronella has a new home, she hasn't moved in yet, but I'm working on it today. I will also be rearranging all the other grows and starting some new things off! I am not sure if I have mentioned it anywhere but I am using a 1.2m x 1.2.m x 1.8m tent.. I have just got a 60cm x 60cm x 140cm tent and a 300w LED. Her Majesty I hope will enjoy her new quarters. Day 36: I have lowered the light to 30cm above the tallest plants. Day 37: It is done! Queen Citronella resides in her own palace, while the rest of the plebs squat together in the communal living area. I have reorganised and moved my 4x4, mounting the carbon filter and duct fan properly in the center. Setup a 2 x 2 with a 300w LED and put the lights for both tents on the same timer (for now). I will measure and photograph Her Majesty a little later, including photos of her new home. Day 37: Added media. Height: 31cm. Fertigated 2l. Day 37.5: Alright she is really stretching fast, she grew almost 5cm in a little over 30 hours, A thought has just occurred to me; I could, if I chose to, put the Queen on a flower cycle at this point. Now I did want to do a full grow of clones, however we're talking something like another 2 weeks of veg then 2 weeks for cuttings to root, then I'd want to veg them for a few more weeks, maybe 2, 3 or 4? So that's 6-10 weeks before I start flowering. Then at least ten weeks of flowering, A week to dry, and at least a fortnight to cure. We're talking 20-25 weeks before I get to smoke it, that's six months! I probably wont be able to grow in the summer due to the heat. Now I already have the one cutting which I am hoping will root soon, which I can take forward, but I also have two more seeds. So, regretfully, I think I will change my plans. I will flower queen Citronella, starting on day 43. I still intend to do a full tent of Super Lemon Haze clones, but I think I will postpone that adventure until September. So this is now the final week or final five days of veg, she will spend the bulk of her last week of veg under a different light. We wont get much data on vegging (unless there is a significant change this week) but it'll be a nice trial run flowering with an LED light for the first time. Exciting! I am still waiting for the Epislon F1 seeds from RQS. I set their pot up today, inoculated, fed, and sowed some Dark Opal (Purple) Greek Basil and a liberal sprinkling of chamomile. I am going to germinate all five seeds in jiffy pellets and then put them all in the same 40l Day 38: I have realised Her Majesty was too tall to flower in this little tent so I snapped her neck a bit. I installed a photometer app yesterday and discovered I was blasting Citronella with 75 DLI so I raised to light up until canopy level was 40 DLI. The LED is pretty good. The HPS Dual Spectrum bulb in the main tent must be on its last legs as output was around 40 DLI for optimally positioned plants and 30 least optionally positioned. I could do to buy a new bulb. Identical replacement is about fifteen bucks, best one is about fifty. For that I could get another one of those LEDs which seems like better value. At the moment though I really need the heat. So I am thinking identical replacement. 4 days to flower cycle! Day 38.5: Replaced crappy old Dutch barn reflector with a much nicer angel wing model. Installed a significantly larger carbon filter into the main tent which has significantly increased air flow. The main tent vents into the bottom of Queen Citronella's tent, and from there and unfiltered duct fan in the far top corner exhausts it out. The exhaust pipe goes up the chimney. Why have I reorganised and moved the tents again so soon is because I was wasting power heating the little tent with the LED light, but the main tent has excess heat. Well this setup is working a treat. Citronella is sitting in a balmy 23-24 degree wind tunnel. Check out the little video of the changes. Day 39: I think her majesty likes her new quarters. It's going to be weird seeing her square in a few more days. We are 2 days into a "dry spell" I'm simulating for all my plants. Day 40: Dry spell ended. Fertigated 6l. Day 41: Fertigated 3l. Citronella's penultimate day of veg, she is going 12/12 from lights out after next. Photos taken 10:00 9/2/23. Current lights out is Citronella's last 6 hour night! Day 42: Start: Have performed pre-flower LST, HST, and defoliation. 24 hours to flower cycle. Day 42: End: photographed immediately before first 12h night. End of week summary: Huge week for Citronella. I think this LED light is pretty good. Change of plans regarding the grow and preparing her for flower. Let's see how she does.

Ok, so I forgot to take any pics on week two and holiday time week 3 came up real fast. so we are going to skip over any of the week two details. just watered em and they grew. This week we did a nice little transplant into their final 2gal pots. Fortified with a bunch of amendments and Acti-Sol, everything is listed in the video. Any question just let me know. I don't age my medium at all and I think I should start doing this to avoid some other things, I just find it hard to do it in winter time indoors as soil can be stinky with amendments and I like it to stay in the tent under the carbon filter. Medium I used is 40% coir, 30% perlite, 20% compost, 10% vermiculite and 10% worm castings. Then the amendments are added into that at the rate of 30-60ml per 1Gal of medium. This batch has Gaia 4-4-4, Gaia Insect Frass, Giaia Diatomaceous Earth, Gaia Rock Dust, Acti-Sol Seaweed Meal, Acti-Sol Shrimp/Crab Meal, Acti-Sol 4-3-2, Acti-Sol 4-6-8 and Bokashi. Nice little mix, water it in with a bit of magnesium and microbes dissolved into the water. The bokashi should help break everything down and make a bit of a acidic environment for all the meals and rock dust to become available. Roots looked good, not a dense as some runs but still nice. I feel the soil might be a bit hot so will expect some burnage on them hopefully its nothing to crazy. Will ph down with a mix of citric, malic and ascorbic acids. They are in a rate of something like 50-60%/40-30%/5-10%, its written down in my of my notes just can't find the pad ATM. Also more videos vs anything this week. I like em more but processing them is annoying AF. Side note, my lights timer was on 12/12 not 16/8 so it explains why they went into bloom, switch it back and will top the plants next week one they start to reverse their ways and get comfortable in the new pots. Also got ride of the chive seed start as it was looking sad, plus I got a bunch of European chive varieties in the mail yesterday and want to try them out. see if they really have any different taste and what ones I like better. week 5 was great. she really focused on getting fat this time. and shes been getting soooo frosty. the camera really doesnt do her justice. also she use to give off a pretty strong kush smell when i would water her but i noticed she hasnt been giving ANY smell recently. She does however smell very strong when i squeeze her nugs and smell my fingers. she has a very strong lemony smell with a hint of a kushy gassy smell. Every 2 days ive been giving her a gallon of dechlorinated tap water phd to 6.3 ph with 2 tsps or 10ml of dyna groom bloom nutrients.

im starting to have concerns about this plant. she's been growing slow but in the same cycle as the Pineapple Glue.
