And let me tell you, they're stealing the spotlight with their beauty and vigor. As we approach day 21, the anticipation for defoliation is real. But our P.C.R.s have other plans—they're playing hard to get! Despite their reluctance, I’m keeping a close eye on them and patiently waiting for the perfect moment to give them a little trim. After all, a little pruning goes a long way in ensuring optimal light penetration and airflow, leading to healthier and happier plants. Defoliation is like a mini makeover for our plants—it removes excess foliage, allowing more light to reach the lower buds and promoting better airflow throughout the canopy. This not only improves bud development but also reduces the risk of mold and pests. It's like giving our P.C.R.s a spa day—they come out looking refreshed and rejuvenated! 12/24/2021 So far only one male has been identified. Glad I just reviewed my video I didn't even notice how light green #3 is, guess I mix her nutes up separately and see if she just hungry? Or naturally lighter than others. All other plants are using coast of Maine mixed into soil (her too) so I'll give her a little mirimichi 901C this week and see what happens. 12/30/2021 Noticing that there is two distinct differences between these girls, color light green and dark green.#1,#3,#8 are light green and #2,#4,#5,#6,#7 Other than that there very much similar growth and node spacing, little differences but very happy with uniformity.Both light green and dark green maintained their magenta petiols, gonna make notes on stem rub notes next week and see how they will compare.

I give 8 liters of water per pot. I was giving a 2-nutrient callmag, but the water coming out from the bottom has high ppm, so I will give empty watering. Day 97-Bloom 38= sugar leaves and immature buds were cuted

12.5 - F60 - another couple dark cycles and she'll get the big dark and chop. Really excited, such a loverly plant and the way the calyx started stacking up in the past couple weeks has been neat. I frequently see people harvest very round buds off this plant, so I'm curious to see how she looks all trimmed up.

Seems I told a lie last week, I'm late one day and I've done videos again cos again 🤥 Its been a good week for bud production regardless of a hiccup this week which shows as cal/mag and nitrogen deficiencies throughout each plant🤒 My ph pen malfunctioned and I ended up feeding them all 4.5 and didn't notice till the leaves told me 🍂 The ph pen has been replaced, amendments made to buffer the root zone and fingers are crossed 💉🤞 Super stinky grow this, going to replace my carbon filter before starting a new one because I caught wiffs of them when I entered my home today. If the flavours match the smells in this tent I'm in for a treat come smoke time.👃⛽🍋🍇 Its that magic time in the tent now where each girls really showing their own characteristics, both the purple punches and the zkittlez are different phenos to their siblings so I'm excited to see what they finish up like🏁 So far mostly good 👍 Thanks for reading 📖 One Love💚 Fire Farmer🔥👨‍🌾

Well its another update from down under.. and things are getting better with the Caramelo. She got badly burnt from my mistake of using too strong lime sulfur spray to treat spider mites and mold issues before they could take hold. And its kinda worked. lols...the mites are still there but reduced alot in number but I was almost ready to chop her after I saw how badly burnt all her new shoots were. But Im glad I decided to wait a bit as she has recovered faster than expected and while im sure she still has issue at the root level from the rain drenching her for near on a week- she basically stunted after that and never showed much stretch at all when switching to flower-she grew maybe 15cms in height total after that so Im assuming some kind of root rot has her and any harvest will be a bonus. In saying that Im still not going to be suprised if she suddenly dies or gets badly infected with bud rot out of the blue as Im nursing her hard just to get her to this stage and in my experience a nursed plant may produce a yield but it will be weaker than its meant to be and reduced by around 50% of the yield you should have got. if she was indoor id have ripped her out after the sighs she was stunted presented and started over with a new plant. But out doors I dont have that luxury so I will nurse her thru and hope for the best but expect less than average results. Zkittles though is loving life and just LOOK at her!! When you realize she was the same size as the Caramelo when the rain hit and now look at the difference- thats why i say when you see obvious signs of stunting-rip the plant if you can and start over, it may recover but if it was serious then the plant will never show its true potential and you may think those genetics are shit. Ive never grown the Caramelo before now so if i judge it on this result I will say the genetics are shit when the plant likely had root rot from 3 weeks before even switching to flower. And the BC buds hash plant is FINALLY flowering too now. For a 90% indica it sure is taking the longest to flower. I wonder if its the old school genetics at play here-This strain been around since the 70's while the ZkittleZ is a modern hybrid so maybe the newer genetics really are all they are cracked up to be. Thats why I love doing side by side grows out doors with diff genetics and see what they can really do. You should see my mates BC hashys- lmao, he said he wanted bigger plants than last year as he got "bonsai" plants from someone else. Now he has to tie down trees that are growing over his 6ft fence!! And they only just went into flower last week. But on that note- Will update more now as things progress towards harvest. Hi guys Im spotting some problems this week. Or at least i think there are problems. First not the problems, LOL. Plant 1, 4 and 5 i think i will harvest in 2 week +/- , also depending on the time i have. But i will give them 1.5/2 more week until i harvest. See if some amber trichs appear The problem here are: 1st - Plants 2 and 3, seem to be blocked, Plant 2 got some signals of nutrient burn, but that i think is solved im only watering with water now. Plant 2 also seems to be re- veging , she is growing new leaves and branches on the lower canopy. But she is also slowly slowly flowering compared to the other 3 plants almost on harvest. Plant 3, this one i dont understand, leaves are green , she started flowering like 3/4 weeks ago but very very slowly, and i dont find any signals of problems related to watering or nutrient burn, the leaves are good lets say that. I removed the plant from the pot to look the roots, and actually for me they look good, ok they probably need 10L pot, but transplant now, i think to late. 2nd - The holes on my pots, where the out comes out, got some white thing , i dont now if that is mold. But its strange, and almost all the holes and the pots got that. 3rd - The water that is coming out still got that brow/ argila color, and im watering only with water. Questions Problem 1 - Are plant 2 and 3 blocked because roots are blocked? Should i cut the lower and small branches and let only the top canopy ? Problem 2 - Is that actually mold? or something related to the intake fan? someone experienced that? Problem 3 - Is that a normal color for the water? could be because of the organic nutrients from RQS that are slowly being released ? Everything going good switch to light schedule of 11/13 for flower on 02/08/20. Heard it brings more of phenotype out of your strain. Than your traditional 12/12 schedule. Haven't did any feeding since I transplanted from 3 gal to 7 gal fabric pot. Will start back feeding with nftg in another week or so. Currently under 2 1600watt phlizon full spectrum light with veg and bloom on.
