Week 9: Post-Vacation Bloom & Humidity Vigilance Update: 22.07.2025 | Day 70 Back from vacation - ladies made huge progress! Weather shifted from hot/sunny to rainy/humid (22°C). Mold prevention is now top priority. Strain Check: Green Crack Developed beautifully but has fewest bud sites by far. Buds thicker than others - constant humidity checks essential. Gorgeous structure with spot-on mango aroma. Resin queen: sticky like flypaper to the touch. At least 2 weeks to go. Forbidden Runtz Looks fantastic with the best fragrance of the trio. Resin production accelerating, but buds show slight foxtailing (heat stress from previous weeks?). Solid 15-20 bud sites. Should finish in ~2 weeks. Bruce Banner Still the star with perfect even canopy. 20+ long candle-like buds forming. Resin/smell least developed but has 3-4 weeks left. Critical: Defoliation for airflow to prevent mold in this humidity. Critical Actions: -Daily inspection for curled leaves inside buds (early mold sign) - Reduced Bokashi feeding (1:150 weekly) - Strategic defoliation: Remove only touching leaves - LST adjustments to increase branch spacing - Morning stem shakes to dislodge moisture Stay blazing, keep growing! Fed once this week with a weak feed including top max. I use kombucha vinegar as pH down. Water from my tap is ph6.8-7.0 and 38-42ppm so I might start using calmag supliment as the ppm at my old house used to come out of the tap at ph7. 2 and 200-220ppm. I had 2 plants that didn't like the light at 30000 lux and started bleaching so I took them out. I've defoliated today day 35 as humidity was getting over 80% and also to let light to the lower bud sights. Pre flower pistils showed on some plants around day 33 (some still have none) so I'll consider this the end of veg start of flower. The kalimist indica pheno is still not showing pre flower pistils but is always hard to force flowering when it's not mature for some reason. It's always 7-14 days behind everything else 🤔

The time has come for for this beautiful girl Scout cookies auto from Original Sensible seeds. Her leaves had started to slightly yellow due to me missing a water or two. Also extra dry because I've been so caught up with “real life stuff” that she has been sat on the side for about 3 days as I haven't had the time needed to harvesting her until now......,. The buds are lovely and fat 😃 whilst feeling a very good weight 😏 (should be updated below) some time later........... Wow! Now she's trimmed for her bikini shot, the buds look beautiful and plump. Oooozing a fruity fragrance with every snip. Very happy with earlier in the grow, chopping off some developing bud sites I felt would not have the time to flourish. Something I've tested from a-b samples (although different strains) and currently lean towards limiting the amount of bud sites thats she has to actually grow. *I'm talking Autos* A Brilliant strain and genetics from a growing perspective. I'm finding a pattern to my taste in how strains grow. just got to wait and see on the final smoke. peace    

Day 36 - I watered her again with nutrients ph to 5.8, i was advised to water less but everyday. I defoliated her today and she looks great. I took of a few shade leaves off as well to help light get through. Tightened a few branches and moved it in place for light. Im very worried because i think it got hermies on the plant which is a big issue. Day 37 - The main culprit looks fine didn't see any more i did take 2 pods of but I'm sure they weren't sacks but i was paranoid. Day 38 - very F***** up day today, I checked her and found a banana im not happy at all and to be honest i feel like all my plant have been contaminated so I'm just gonna carry on with grow and see how it goes. She watered with nutrients today at PH 5.9. I got new lights today spider farmer sf2000, this looks amazing inside there. Day 39 - The plant is okay temperature is to high in room its at 34°c waiting on inlet fan to come to cool temperature. I'm still curving the plant to get a spiral, i curved the top a little. Day 40 - I tightened the ties down properly. I have also watered the plant with 5.6PH and nutrients. Day 41 - So once again i didn't take a pictures today i will have make sure to not make it into a habit.  I was very busy and didn't have time. I checked the plants as soon as i woke up and they looked well and healthy. Day 42 - The plant looks okay haven't seen any bananas so should be okay. I watered her today with nutrients and the water Ph was at 5.5.

This week went pretty well for my sour diesel auto. She Finally stopped growing vertically at about 48 inches to the top of the highest cola. We did have a serious heatwave and high humidity I been dealing with as well, but so far so good. The only thing I changed this week with nutrients is I raised my ec value to 1.6, at the advice of another grower, and the sour diesel took it like the piglet that she is. I am still on an 18/6 light cycle,which I plan to stay with the entire grow, and still feeding Maxibloom, calmag, and koolbloom. I am seeing some bright orange colored spots on the top leaves, but I am hoping it is just a little light bleaching. I have no experience with this as I have NEVER grown anything indoors before other than vegetable seedlings. I just wanted to say thank you to this community for all the advice, tips and encouragement along the way, very much appreciated all, and Blaze On!

She is officially chopped and hanging to dry. 📈 The Details / Harvest Report: The Chop: Harvested right inside the optimal window. Checking the heads one last time before the chop showed fully milky trichomes with a solid percentage of amber pushing through perfectly. Density & Weight: She stayed incredibly top-heavy right up to the end. The colas finished completely swollen, dense, and chunky. Resin Production: As you can see in the macro shots, the frost is insane. The calyxes and sugar leaves are entirely caked in a thick, sticky layer of mature trichomes. Canopy Structure: The lollipopping and heavy defoliation we did earlier paid off. We ended up with solid, heavy nugs all the way down the branches and minimal larf to deal with. 💧 Next Steps: The grow cycle is done, and now we move to the dry. She is chopped and hanging in the dark. I am keeping the temperature and humidity strictly dialed in for a slow, controlled drying process. still growing fast as fuck. i was falling more and more in love with her as time passed. she was showing signs of hunger so i gave her, her first feed of veg nutes on december 5th 2021. I mixed 1/2 tsp to each gallon. I used a bucket with 3 gallons of dechlorinated tap water. Decmber 8th: same amount of veg to gallons of water with the same 1/2 tsp. phd to 6.4. December 10th gave her a feed honestly dont know how much. id say about 10-20 cups worth of dechlorinated tap water with 1/2 tsp of veg nutes to 3 gallons.

Week 9 and the Zkittlez are starting to show first real flower signs! Plants drank well over 60L of Nutrients in week 8.

Week 7 flower : I defoliated a little just to give bud sights more light . Started flush on 6 1/2 weeks I’m just giving plain water and ph to about 6.0 . Watering everyday to about 20-30% run off and the ec of the run off is 1.0ec gonna be flushing everyday for next 1-2 weeks .

Kicked the Critical Kush out to let the Lemon AK have the tent to itself to finish. Tall, strong, some yellow leaves think it might be a ph issue, flushing a bit and continuing to trim and monitor, it's not widespread and the plant is otherwise healthy. Did a little trim and LST on day 48 to help it take up the extra space that is suddenly available.
