Well its another update from down under.. and things are getting better with the Caramelo. She got badly burnt from my mistake of using too strong lime sulfur spray to treat spider mites and mold issues before they could take hold. And its kinda worked. lols...the mites are still there but reduced alot in number but I was almost ready to chop her after I saw how badly burnt all her new shoots were. But Im glad I decided to wait a bit as she has recovered faster than expected and while im sure she still has issue at the root level from the rain drenching her for near on a week- she basically stunted after that and never showed much stretch at all when switching to flower-she grew maybe 15cms in height total after that so Im assuming some kind of root rot has her and any harvest will be a bonus. In saying that Im still not going to be suprised if she suddenly dies or gets badly infected with bud rot out of the blue as Im nursing her hard just to get her to this stage and in my experience a nursed plant may produce a yield but it will be weaker than its meant to be and reduced by around 50% of the yield you should have got. if she was indoor id have ripped her out after the sighs she was stunted presented and started over with a new plant. But out doors I dont have that luxury so I will nurse her thru and hope for the best but expect less than average results. Zkittles though is loving life and just LOOK at her!! When you realize she was the same size as the Caramelo when the rain hit and now look at the difference- thats why i say when you see obvious signs of stunting-rip the plant if you can and start over, it may recover but if it was serious then the plant will never show its true potential and you may think those genetics are shit. Ive never grown the Caramelo before now so if i judge it on this result I will say the genetics are shit when the plant likely had root rot from 3 weeks before even switching to flower. And the BC buds hash plant is FINALLY flowering too now. For a 90% indica it sure is taking the longest to flower. I wonder if its the old school genetics at play here-This strain been around since the 70's while the ZkittleZ is a modern hybrid so maybe the newer genetics really are all they are cracked up to be. Thats why I love doing side by side grows out doors with diff genetics and see what they can really do. You should see my mates BC hashys- lmao, he said he wanted bigger plants than last year as he got "bonsai" plants from someone else. Now he has to tie down trees that are growing over his 6ft fence!! And they only just went into flower last week. But on that note- Will update more now as things progress towards harvest. Harvest! Few comments about a process and harvest. It was easy to grow, no mold, no nutrients issues- looks like a process was smooth. Do not know about the yield - will check after drying.... but it is looks like the yield will not be high. The lady was big, but the lights probably was not so efficient. The light were able to penetrate the third of the height so everything below it is a lax popcorn. After drying will add comments about the weight! Thank you for your comments!

Super tropical vibes in this bunch!! Each one has such a unique smell and flower structure. I really neglected the hell our most of these plants given the tiny 3 gallon container and arid conditions - however these plants were resilient. Crystal Light x Pelee Sword stands out as gassy pungent strain covered in trichomes. (Purple Haze x Malawi) x pelee sword was also very note worthy. Very citrusy/floral notes, airy bud structure but surprisingly very resinous. Super stoked and thanks again DaDankSeed bank for the genetics and pointers!

Hello Growers and Tokers! 👋 👩‍🌾 🧑‍🌾.🔥💨 As soon as I walk into my grow room I can smell them and when I open the tent it's a slap in the face. Though it's a lovely slap it isn't gentle, it's a 'where've you been?' slap. A 'welcome to Caramel city' slap. 😂😂 Jokes aside. This strain's aroma has me "Enamorado". Pictures taken day 42 of flower. The Green Sensation seems to be doing it's job. Buds are really starting to fatten up fast and are looking very very luscious. I should have started using it in week 4 so I'm a week late on that. *Made a little reminder for the next run.* I can't seem to get a good shot of the buds but i'm working on it. Let's see if for next week I can get a good close up. In flower I water with nutrients in every feed and every 10 days or so I water with only water and Enzymes to help break down the old roots, gives life to the microorganisms, helps out the new roots and helps to prevent root rot. It's great if your using mineral nutrients as there's times where those minerals stay stuck to the roots and can cause root burn. I use alga based nutrients so I don't have a problem with that but I like to use it, I've noticed a great difference im flower before and after using. We're getting closer and closer to harvest. 😬 "Sooo exciiited" (In Kevin Hart voice) If you like the content check out the other strains sharing the tent. 😃 I'll catch y'all next week. Around 11-12 weeks seed to harvest,, only had a few plants the largest yielded 72 grams the smallest around an ounce,,, just a few plants for personal medicinal use grown 100% naturally in the great british outdoors 😎

// Day 78 I put her inside. I know, that's cheating, but I do not care right now. The weather will be abyssymal in the next days and I do not want to keep her just in my room at the balcony door because she stinks amazing, but I can't let her stink up the apartment. And she is pretty late in flower, I really want her to work on the buds, let them thicken up and I just want to enjoy the outcome in the end. This grow is already incredibly long for an autoflower and she still needs 2-3 more weeks, when looking at her bud sites. I don't want to harvest trash buds after investing 3 to 4 months into a plant. If the weather is good again, she will be back outside. If the weather is trash with rain all day, I'll keep her in the tent. My main concern is her bud development. The sites are huge but the calyxes are just not fattening up. You can see it in the pictures, they're very airy and overall not "sexy" looking, if you know what I mean. I hope that she finishes nicely since this grow went amazing so far. She is an absolute unit and I want her to finish perfectly. Let's see how she developes in the next 14 days. With 78 days, this plant is very old, but I've seen autoflowers getting harvested after 90 days or even 100 days. So I will just keep calm for now and I try to enjoy the last 2-3 weeks of her grow life. // Day 83 She is bulking up nicely. Unfortunately, I needed to remove 1 headbud from a side stem because I saw spider mite webbing... I hate that. The other buds seem clean, in general does this strain have not many pests on it. But they managed to set up a little camp in there so I removed the whole top bud of the side branch.

Continued training and caring for the life in the soil... I'm trying to think of it as growing soil more then growing plants

Guys Shes looking very good but I am noticing that she is kinda short and I believe she got stressed out after all the techniques we applied on her, I think I will only go with LST/HST and defoliation for next time with the auto flowers, I think they don't have enough time to recover and I think we get to see it here because otherwise she would have grown like the cream Mandarine, she is an XL but not looking like that tho. Everything else is good, either that or too many nutes and she got locked out with nutes which I don't think so since she is giving nice smells and flowers and the main trunk got many compact buds forming sites, I just think I need to let them be since auto genetics are too delicates to fuck with, specially this strain not all the strains responds equally, in my experience amnesia, grapefruit and even cream Mandarine XL are warriors, they will resist and recover fats but this lady os very delicate and need to be trates carefully, we did a lot of experiments on this one and I bet the high is wicked bomb just the fact that will produce ultra high quality bud but not as much as you would expect im guessing 15g dry bud top and probably 40 wet but I will let you know at the end, I think I am going to harvest this girl in about 4-5 weeks from now what do you think?
