Started from seed this lady's have 17 days under half load 4 X 50W Cree CXB3590 CRI 80 3000K custom build led. 7days in rockwool cube under a dome , 10 days in 750ml pot. Freshly transplanted into to final pot. They have received 250ml of fertilizer solution and transplation soil was moisted with 6.5PH water. Led now running on full load. This project have some custom/extra gadget, a prototype growing controler. Hardware Specs: Raspberry PI 4 4Go Ram + SSD 120Go Phat sparkfun qwiic i2c hub + i2c sensor for : temperature,humidity, co2, tvoc, air pressure and distance measurement(plant height) Linked with one custom wifi power bar for schedule and countdown. One sonoff pw r2 for energy monitoring. Both using ESP8266 chip and running on Tasmota alternative firmware. Linked to the controler using normal wifi AP. Chance of a Lifetime Greenhouse Seeds Competition Wonder Pie 8th May 2020 When I first saw that Greenhouse seeds were running a Worldwide competition I was amazed because Australia does not normally get included in such things, especially involving Cannabis. But I knew straight away that this was the chance of a Lifetime for me so I applied straight away. When I got the email saying I was in I was over the moon with happiness. The Contest will see the winning Diary/Grower win a trip to Amsterdam for two with accommodation in the apartment above the famous Green House smokeshop. To be in the running I simply applied to grow one of their chosen strains with their own Nutrients (greenhouse feeding) I picked and was very luckily accepted to grow the "Wonder Pie" strain alongside the Greenhouse feeding Bio Feed Range. Here is a little bit of info on the "Wonder pie" strain courtesy of Seedfinder.eu Wonder Pie, sweet, fruity and petrol aroma It is a wonderful hybrid between two really powerful lineages, Wedding Cake Cannabis Strain (aka Triangle Mints: Triangle Kush x Animal Mints) and OG Kush (Chemdawg x [Lemon Thai x Hindu Kush, Pakistan)]. It produces tall plants with a vigorous and branchy development with flexible but strong branches. It develops an ideal structure for applying pruning and moulding methods such as topping, LST or Main Linning. It also offers good results when cultivated in SCROG. To win this would be a dream come true as I have always wanted to travel to Amsterdam ever since watching Cheech n Chongs Movie Still Smokin back in the 1980's as a teenager. The first steps to starting my grow are preparing my grow area, which involves a thorough cleaning with bleach. Then I set up lights and fans etc and test it all to make sure everything is working. Then on the 4th of May I recieved the seeds in the mail and immediately began to soak four seeds in some tepid water overnight before transferring them into a moistened piece of paper towel then into a ziplock baggie for another 12 hours. From there all germinated seeds will go into the rockwool cubes for about a week before being moved into the final grow out pots. From there they will veg for 7-8 weeks before I flip to 12/12 and flower them accordinly. As of today (8th May 2020) I have 3 healthy seedlings from the four seeds I soaked. So now they are up it's officially Game On 🙏 I am still waiting for the Greenhouse Feeding to arrive but thats ok because I won't need it for about a week. I chose 12 Litre Fabric pots because of the height limitations in my Grow tent (need a bigger one but cant afford it at the moment ) as soon as the powdered feeding arrives I'll mix the required amounts straight into the pots so they are ready for when I transplant the seedlings into them. Medium: 🥥🥥🥥🥥 Coco remains as the most manageable medium in our arsenal. It’s simplistic, similar to conventional soil but as a nutrient neutral medium, it’s also much more tailored to the growers preferences in terms of feeding. It’s best attribute is excellent drainage and consistency - a lot fluffier than soil which definitely translates to faster growth rates. It’s a damn shame that this particular grower forgot the cardinal f$&@king rule when it comes to any grow - always water to run off and pay attention to the strength of the feed in relation to the plants growth stage. If we had followed these basic principles we wouldn’t have run into the serious late stage burn that almost toasted the whole plant. On the flip side of that, coco flushes out incredibly well and if not for this attribute, the whole grow would’ve been an unmitigated disaster. Method 🎚️🎚️🎚️🎚️ Uggghhh - hindsight f$&@‘n sucks sometimes. Best descriptor for how we grew this girl - imagine having the dinner table set with your finest china, a bottle of the most expensive red wine you can find, a brand new top-o-the-line BBQ, and then burning the absolute f$&k out of a $40 prime rib. That’s exactly how this grow feels... We were looking to scrog it the whole time and this went perfectly. The plant helped quite a bit with longer than expected internodal spacing. This allowed for a really even canopy/bed of buds. Again though, the vipar 450w (truly a 200w~) shit the bed mid veg. And we needed a replacement. Went with a 100w SpiderFarmer QB. While I truly am pleased with the purchase I do believe that we should’ve upp’d to the 200w model (or 2, 100w models) to achieve a similar output and result - @silverback_guerilla was right on point with the lighting advice (*again). Given the reduced yield it just feels like the nodal spacing and overall bud quality may have suffered with the reduced power. This, despite the better light spectrum and overall coverage in general. As an aside - an additional Fixture is now on the way😉👍. Worst part about this is we’ll never really know what the true limiting factor actually was due to the nute burning. Probably the single most stupid, rook mistake I could’ve made was not watering to runoff.... just too much shit going down in the world (and in life) these days and I started to treat the grow like it was on auto pilot🤬🤬🤬. The whole worlds a cluster f$&k right now so why should the grow be any different right? 4/5 for the method, losing1 point because the grower is a lazy moron. Yield/Harvest🌴 The final numbers are better than expected, 2.26oz of usable bud. Not overly fluffy and not overly dense. Not glazed in frost but not without a little shimmer. All around mediocre unfortunately. What it coulda? Shoulda? Woulda been??? Note sure 🤔 but we’ll take it👍. On a more positive note - There was still another new addition to our grow cycle. This time on the back end. Everyone knows that trimming just plain sucks. When we’re spitt’n out 3-4 plants every few months, the exercise is a dreaded necessity if were gonna maintain the vast array of choice that we’re used to🤙👌. The whole process just for one plant can take hours unless you have help. We prefer to wet trim too so for those that don’t require a commercial size trimmer, the only option to save some time is a trim bowl. We bit the bullet, dropped the cash on one - have NOT been disappointed at all! Not only did it cut the chop process from 2-3 hours down to a mere 45 minutes, the buds literally came out rack ready. There was no need to do any touch up trimming and the bud photos you see are as-is, right out the bowl🤩. Really coulda used this last fall and I would recommend this to anyone who chops more than a handful of plants per year. Just awesome and worth every penny!👌🤙👍 At times like these, we should all just be thankful that we still have both the opportunity and ability to grow our own✌️. Out of Amsterdam, they are the 2nd such breeder to market their genetics worldwide and can lay claim to the origins of their beans better than most (if not all) others. They’ve produced here an indica hybrid cross of M33/Friesland Indica with an elite clone of Lava Cake. We’re hoping to encounter one of the purple phenos but only time will tell. She’s supposed to be super strong too and not for the faint of heart 👍. We’ve been wait’n on this one awhile and she’ll be getting individual treatment in the small cab - 5gal. Coco w/perlite and the typical nute regimen. Advance props for the best packaging I’ve ever seen (although you may need to be an 80’s baby or older to truly appreciate it😉). See week 1 photos.

Day 15, 1st day of week 3 since sprouting out of the peat plugs. Haven’t been fed yet but will be getting a light feed this week. Hopefully the weather will pick up again soon and they’ll start to flourish!

Still defoliating leaves as the turn yellow. Looked at adjusting the LST, but most of the stems are pretty firm by now, not a lot of flexy green ones. Buds on the taller plant are filling out a lot, looking pretty hairy. The shorter/bushier plant is looking pretty sparkly, but still not getting a lot of pistils. Not sure if the Koolbloom really helped that much or if it was just timing, but the buds definitely started developing a lot faster since I added it. Ready to wrap this grow up! Come on, girls!

Purple lemonade is 10 day from harvest

It’s been a hell of a ride y’all but here we are, looks like she’ll be ready to chop come Monday or Tuesday depending when I have more time Haven’t gotten to much of a description of the flower yet so as for smell- she’s an absolute funky one almost makes you sick to the stomach like a garlic body odor but then a slightly sweet back to it. Based off the record she’s putting out so far I couldn’t be happier to try the smoke. As you can see even with all she’s been through (mainly a tough mag deficiency) the buds are still completely coated in a nice layer of frost same with all her healthy foliage. Will definitely be running some wax from her so I’ll update on that as well. Harvest pics coming soon until then happy growing y’all!!!

I changed the water and raised the nutrients this week, I'm going to start 12/12 today. Not much to report but they're growing fast, power plants are already out pacing the rest like last time.

Day 1: Auto flowers are getting some nice crystal. Purple Kush smells nice, Pink Kush smells like wet veg. The root mass on Purple Kush is huge! The photos were defoliated, and finally both showing flowers. pH is 6 Day 3:. Finally got to LST Red Purps, she really needed it. I pulled some of the Purple Maroc branches and tried defoliating, but it's thick in there. The previous LST still has a lot of branches bent, but a lot of new growth has popped up. I wonder if it's because I broke the main collar last week. I have to find more weights to tie down the last few branches. Day 7: Purple Kush wreaks of grape bubble gum. Pink Kush wreaks of gas.

Both have fucking seeds from the hermies. Hoping it will be smokable

This week has been good both plants are growing great with no problems in there transition to flower they jus started to stretch so I hung the 600 watt lamp at 24 in and will lower it as they flower but a very productive week so far. Gonna add nutes at the end of this week so they will have some nutes to fall back on when bud sites appear
