Day 29 Day 1 flowering

Both ladies growing very nice plant one is growing much quicker and the buds are getting very fat. Plant 2 buds will get fatter too next week. 69cm Tall plant 1 62cm Tall plant 2

I think everything is going well, but this is my first grow what do I know? The plants have very little internodal spacing. I mean like very little. They are squat little bushes with nodes stacked right on top of each other. Right now, most of the plants are still under 6 inches. However, they seem healthy, are growing daily, have healthy stems, and are eating and drinking. I have fimmed them all now, and are attempting to LST them. I also removed a few fan leaves to open up the middle a bit. I have raised daytime temps from around 73 to 76, with lows down to 68. I have lowered the humidity as well. I was trying to keep 60% humidity in the tent. However, I put a hygrometer under the leaves of one plant and saw 10-15% more humidity in the plant than the tent (from the buckets?). I lowered the humidity in the tent, and the plants started drinking/eating more right away. Also added a fan to move the air around in the tent more. Right now, the plan is to keep LST for another week, then switch to flower. Any suggestions or comments are welcome. Thanks for reading.

Day 8 - watered with 20 ml of water and prepared the vase for the transplant, used 10% expanded clay on the bottom of the vase, 20% of my own worm humus and 70% Carolina Soil(Turfa and Vermiculite). Day 9 - Pre watered the new soil with 700 ml of water and 4 ml of my own fertilizer and transplanted. Day 10 - nothing Day 11 - nothing Day 12 - nothing Day 13 - watered 700 ml + 4 ml my own fertilizer Day 14 - nothing

Looks like she'll be growing some serious leaves, some solar panels to soak up all that light. She'll be staying indoors just incase the Blueberry OG ends up being an outdoor male.

Today I switched the light to the flowering phase. The light is now on for 12 hours. All plants were fertilized with Hesi Bio Bloom. The Tropical Marker and the Plurple Kush each received 2 liters of water, and the Pink Gelato received 1 liter. I trimmed off some large leaves. I hope they have a smooth transition into flowering. Day 42: The girls are growing well. The Purple Kush and Pink Gelato received 2 liters of water with Hesi Bio Bloom and some Biobizz Calmag today. I dimmed the light to 60%. The Pink Gelato is catching up a bit, but is very small in comparison. Day 43: They're all still growing well. The tropical marker has been given 2 liters of water with hesi bio bloom and biobizz call mag. I've raised the lamp a bit higher. Here you can see how the stems of the plants have developed; the pink gelato has grown like crazy. The humidifier from Spider Farmer does a great job! Day 47: The girls look good; the first signs of flowering are visible on the Tropical Marker and the Purple Kush. I also defoliated them; it was definitely too much, and they thanked me a day later with preaching leaves. Unfortunately, the Pink Gelato didn't tolerate the topping well and only developed one shoot. I then removed this shoot. Afterward, I watered the Tropical and the Purple with 2 liters of water mixed with fertilizer and Calmag at a pH of 6.3. I set the ventilation to 50%.

Week 5 of flower and seed production for all these plants has started in earnest. We cleaned up the tent somewhat and took down all the males after having done their job. Alls left is to wait for finish now. The nute deficiency appears to have corrected itself now that we’ve balanced out the ratios a little more. The WPM is no match for the sodium bicarbonate but still gonna have to keep on top of that to the end of the grow. Full fumigation of the grow spaces will be required - multi-day process I am not looking forward to. Time cleaning is time not growing, sadly. We’re coasting to the finish now but should still have some decent updates on our super secret seed harvesting method once they’ve fully matured😉👍. Hope everyone’s well and grow’n that straight 🔥. In the event that does take place we’ve got a single clone of each strain from the previous pollen chuck to sit in the tent with them so they can make babies for the next few months. The whole point of the last year was to start making some foundational genetics for a third generational cross we could call our own. If you’ve been following along than you’ll know that it’s been anything but easy. Our previous pollen picks didn’t pan out at all so we’re back to the drawing board with a new option from ExoticSeeds. This’ll be a 10 plant run with 5 regs and 6 strains for pollination including the strain itself. We’re running in a 2x4 MarsHydro grow tent all powered by a Mars Sp6500. That’s a little more than 600w packed into half the recommended footprint😳. Why? you ask - because we like our buds big and overcompensatory😂. Really, I’m just of the mind that we can pack more light into this space than recommended and get much better results. The math doesn’t lie. At least not as long as I wasn’t high when using the calculator again….. Many thanks to @MarsHydroLED for the opportunity to test run the equipment👊. In addition, we’ve also moved to a new nutrient system - Druid Nutrients out of the Netherlands. They don’t really have a presence on GD yet but you’ll be hearing about them very soon I’m sure. The beauty of this system is that it’s literally a 1 (one) component system for the entirety of the plants grow cycle. It really has changed the game in terms of ease of feeding and maintenance. It’s also very versatile and seems to provide everything needed across multiple different strains in the same ratios. Keep your eyes peeled for these folks. Pretty much a guarantee that they absolutely blow up once more people know about them👍👌😎. Strain Background Spicy Bitch: predominantly sativa, heavy yielder with a daytime kinda trip profile. It’s a cross of Queen Mother and a Pre-2000 AK47. We’ll pull what pollen we can and hope to have a female run out a larger supply of seed for the future. It’s been chosen as an option to potentially mellow out the high , shorten the stature of the resulting hybrid and inject it with some of that mellow indica effect. Boogie Nights - total shot in the dark. Still haven’t even tried the strain myself yet but it was available at the right time and interesting enough to make a salad with. Big thanks to AMS who’ve been nothing short of an excellent seedbank to collaborate with. Expect similar growth characteristics to that of the Northern Lights. Better resilience however. Blueberry - this particular clone is from extremely strong stock. Spliff seeds broke the mold with this strain. She’s lower maintenance than the NL, more resilient than anything else we’ve got on the menu and the terp. Profile on this girl is out of this world. If we can bring any of these qualities to the cross, then it could be magic👌. White Widow - garrghh, I just can’t get away from this particular plant. Again, still haven’t even tested the buds yet and all I can say is that the growth characteristics are extremely vigorous and desirable. This plant is one of 3 unicorns that I have yet to tame due to a combo of extremely bad luck and circumstance. All told, it’s still the same story: a VERY experimental breeding project designed to shotgun a broad swath of genetics against a reliable and dependable Breeder who’s put out proven fire 🔥🤟😎👍.

12/22/2021 Starting the over night soak in H2O2 water, then onto soil mix to finish germination. Soaking in H2O2 and water, about an ounce h2o2 mixed with .500ml spring water. It aids in breaking down seed shell, and sanitize seeds at the same time. I will sow directly into soil as breeder suggest. 12/25/2021 All I5 seeds sprouted in water little 1-2 mm tap roots, potted into small cups and reppot as necessary, should get 100% germ rate if I don't hurt them tiny tap roots putting them in soil. 12/28/2021 Lemon OG 100% germ rate, Biscotti Skunk 4 of 5, Grape Skunk 4of5,and I will take the blame if others don't take because of miss handling, so very happy with the germination rate I'll give it 100% Thanks @QCS for given me the opportunity to grow your genetics.🙏🏻 Ps. But feminized information was all they had on website,assuming it's all the same.

D57/FD29 - Thing going grand with the Cookies so far (enjoying growing these Cookie Based Strains). Smell from it is divine! Touch a stem and its a lovely citrus smell left on you for ages! Noted in a previous comment, like a perfect sweetness, fresh lemonade. You'd wear it as an aftershave alright even!!! :P They're drinking a ton but not taking on as much feed (as I've come to expect now in flower) so dropped the base and bloom by 10% (same recommended ratio of 1:1) and kept the PK9/18 booster in there at what would be recommended strength for this week...its the same as last week but week 1 (week 4 of flower) of PK9/18 should have been double...didn't want to overdo it as when I used recommended strength 1st time I got it, it created some serious root zone acidification (Which could have been all the K getting used up but was a mare getting the pH up from 4.something every day!!!). Did my usual root flush/wash before adding feed as the EC had crept up to 2.2 (and I know from experience, that starts messing with your numbers if you don't wash that out right) and took about 50L-60L to get the tank to 0.3EC (base is 0.2) was was a lot of salt sitting on/in the roots. Had a ton of underscreen dead leaf to pick up and just cut some wee straggly offshoots (I know, bad idea this late in flower but they were basically dead/no nutritional value left so basically a bug magnet). Still waiting on Bluelab to send me the RMA approved pH pen...been 2 weeks now since the RMA was approved and still no postage - using an "essentials" pH meter and just dipping in Calibration Fluids between each feed add to ensure some accuracy (As you can see from my recipe page, I like to know what the feed does to the pH - also gives an idea on what they're feeding on when you see pH swings in a different direction that expected). Geeklight also got back to me. In all fairness, I've been dealing with them direct (Got the light fixture from Alibaba, direct from China - big gamble, right???) and they have been more than helpful. I have been telling them about the light randomly coming on at 5% (lowest brightness) and provided evidence; turns out someone else now noticed the same issue with the Remote App controlled variant too and they believed it was a loose control board/wire. They said they did some stuff and that fixed it but I also thought mine was fixed by forcing the dimmer to 0% and it still randomly happened (even though it didn't do it for weeks) so the other person may still get a surprise!! 😋 So, I took out the driver today, pulled out the control board and all wires seemed good and no looseness in the control board (although it does look slightly bent as the Spade for the IR/UV switch isn't fully bedded in). But, like I say, in all fairness to Geeklight, they're posing me a new control board tomorrow from China AND giving me the longer driver cables so as I can put the driver outside of the tent! Give me a bit more room for my Flower Initiator (and hopefully UVB Tube) and great to see them honouring the Warranty. RHC Seems to be flowering nicely as can been seen from the pics. Stacking well, buds coming along. Slight pinkish tip to the pistils on some buds but not the shocking pink as you'd see in the sales pics...hopefully it goes there though! Also noticing a bit of an early frost on a few flowers...like real good frost! And this is only day 1 of week 5 (I know, I do this diary arse about face)!!! Hoping Geeklight get this driver control board and longer cables to me quick so as I can get the driver out of the tent as I'd really like to get the UVB in there to frost them up in a week or 2!!! May only be getting about 9" clearance though so dunno, could be dangerous!!! 12" is the lowest recommended...but then, I could do the 15 min burst lighting (On 15, off 45 min every hour) so lower the risk of burn but get them more exposure (but lowers the lifetime of the tube). They get UVA from the LED's on the light at the moment for a 1/3 of the day and have been since early veg so should be hardened to it by now!!! Anyway, think that's enough s**te chatted by me!!! New week! Tips and help from last week, I had around 1500 ppm and I did flush my roots in water and change everything. Now is around 1000 ppm and dropping 150 ppm a day. Did read about water level in DWC and how to increase the grow with water. I had the water almost up to the root or the level of there the basket is. Now I have 1-2 inch (2-5 cm) below where the roots come out. This create air roots. I'm not sure if it's the air roots or the ppm but my flower is boosting. Can se buds grow!! Trimming so I can keep the same hight. Have any tips or rekomandation? Only have one question for next week and this is: it's looking a bit thigth between the buds and all of the leaf is cristal on it. Should I cut some more leaf? And what leaf should I trim? Is so thigth in there. Or will it grow fine?

Hello. This diary is for Nova OG by Anesia Seeds Indica Dom Flowering time- 8 to 9 weeks Height - Med to Tall Yield - High THC- some where between 22% to 32% THC Average would be 27% with %5 + or - That's a big swing. Might not be as stable as I hoped it to be. But I think that's where the strong mutant plants come from. I hope it's as strong as I want it to be. Taste - Very sweet, fruity taste with peppery hints. Aroma- Coffee with lemon undertones Effect - Focused, uplifted cerebral high which is followed by a deep body relaxation. Indoor/Outdoor Medical properties - Yes. Top genetics - OG x unknown strain Special features - High THC Strain. Is a perfect plant for SCROG, and needs a large amount of food. I got new 5x5 grow tents and new Spider Farms lights SF 4000. I've got them set on 50% till see how the plants like them. I've read about the new lights but they are new to me and it might take a bit to get used to. But I got experience on my side😃. Chuck.

Things ok.......😳. Nah as soon as I think I gotta hold of something it plays around with me. The grow is going well and the plants are mostly showing a great fast rate of growth. Flower site formation is rapid and covers the whole canopy and below. But alas the temperature she rises😩😩. Last night caught the temp at 32 C. Gorilla growin ain’t always bananas😳 I can vent it quicker and keep the temp a little lower but the noise level is just too high. Here comes more expense😩😂. Update- last day week 2 of flower..... everything looking great one plant a little slow in developing but rest good. LED are still outstripping HPS in the race for mature buds. I can’t wait to try the herb that comes from the plants that have exposure to both kinds of light. I’ve added a pure CO2 spray dispenser in the tent also. It’s from Airbomz. Gives them a quick blast hourly to supplement the exhale bag. This is just a temporary fix for rise in temp I’m floating on and just above 30C during lights on, hopefully the CO2 level in the room should aliw the plants to carry on growing well in s slightly higher temperature.

Day 71, 26th of November 2020: Beautiful isn't she? Purple colour appears.... so nice! The other Kaini the normal does not show any sign of purple colour unfortunately. Not much to report. The leaves started getting lighter hopefully they ain't gonna just die so quick. Fertilization is the same like before with exactly the same ratio and mixture above. The lamp is on 11.15 min and off 12.45 min. Last week was 15 min longer light cycle.... So every week 15 min shorter light cycle until the 5th week. So far -45 min. It switches on at 6 am and off at 17.15 pm.

Still going strong, the plant has a very potent smell. Plant 1 will be done flowering in about 4 weeks and plant 2 will probably need 1 or 2 weeks extra. It’s really cool to see that even though it’s the same genetics the Pheno’s are different in Growth and flower speed.
