Week 5 for the Green Papayas from super sativa seeds club. Some of the lower leaves are letting us know that the mother plant need a lot more food. we added additional PK booster to her. The clones seems to go a lot better, these buds are bigger also, but happy in general. I still need to get used to all this organic nutrients. Lots of things to learn and a long way to go, always happy to learn new methods of growing! For the rest, as always just water!

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. All looking great. Bud growing. 😃😃😃 Cant believe it. Going nicely. Just a very long patient wait. Eager to finish so can start on RQS Green Gelato auto grow. Hoping this will be complete in next 2 to 3 weeks. Than have to cure. Lower leaves have issues. Top leaves look good. Day 50 increased nutes to max 1.2ml each per 500ml water. Ph6.6. Watered 250ml to see any damage tomo. Run off from soil ph came to 6.4. Day 51 watered 250ml from balance Day 52 watered 100ml watered with nutes ph6.6 Day 53 watered 200ml from balance and lowered lights to 45cm from 80cm. Hopefully more growth tomorrow 🙏

Purple Chill aka Penny was easy to grow. She was medium height 26 inches. Stem structure was weak. Many stems bent (repaired with splints and masking tape) and some broke off. She suffered from heat stress and also showed cal-mag deficiency.

April 16th - Day 59 : Today is Spa day. Did a major defiliation throughout the whole tent. They're pretty much on autopilot from now on.. April 19th - Day 62 : Look at theses beauties. Reacting well to the heavy defoliation. The smell is getting a bit stronger. Didn't do much but water.

Defoliated and trimmed lowers then flipped lights. One more defoliation at week 3 then smooth sailin to the end

think i overfeed a little bit the tips of the leaves show signs of burning so next will be 2ml bloom and 1 ml pk booster u can see the little burned tips of the leaf in the pictures. Guess it won't affect the growth of the buds. If u have any advice feel free to say :) Cheers Spekkoek

.. Flower Day 2-3 ..

She rocketed up! Given her some LST to stretch her out and topped her one last time just before. Will be flipping in the next week or so, she’s got big internodal spacing, so this has helped her gain some more veg on her. Nothing fed other than a compost tea - the soil is doing totally fine without anything more added in yet.

Sherbets nearly ready now, another's 2 week plus a week flush should hopefully do it, gorilla glue is coming like dr grin spoon tiny popcorn buds (see pic) think it's cos I've had them on 12-12 not too sure

Всем привет. Все-таки решил в начале недели перевести на 12 часов и, в принципе, оказалось очень вовремя. Оно еще подрастет сантиметров на 15 к пику цветения и расстояние до лампы будет прям идеальное. Помимо этого удалил много веток на нижних этажах, чтобы всё шло в основные, а не в мелкую поросль. Так и получилось, растение начало активно утолщать основные ветки и стало еще расти вширь. Листья чувствуют себя очень хорошо, ни единого намека на передозировку или дефицит. Есть небольшой профицит азота, но его совсем чуть чуть. Старые листья, где начался некроз от чрезмерной освещенности, чувствуют себя отлично, некроз прекратился, а листья позеленели и работают на все 146%. Листья стали расти с 11 лепестками. Воды пьет по 2 литра в сутки, корневая разивлась очень хорошо. Нам 35 дней и мо скоро станем еще красивей и будем радовать бутонами цветов. Всю неделю подпитывал 700PPM удобрениями на вегу. Следующею неделю буду комбинировать вегу и цветение. Спасибо, что заглянули. Всем огромной удачи!

20.11 : F+10 22.11 : 1l of water, i removed some of the yellow leaf that came easely 24.11 : RAs 26.11 : no more insect, water spray + humidifier worked :D i will wait maybe another week max and follow the evolution of the brow pistil. Can't buy a miscroscope for now. 27.11: RAS nothing
