Day 1: This was the fastest germination I have seen. Only 72hrs from being planted to looking happy and healthy above ground. My plan is to not water this week and only rely on the humidifier which is filled with Ph’d water for feeding the plant. Now that the seedling is above ground I have changed from the 3 small CFL’s to just one 200watt CFL. I’ve added a strip of silver tape around the inside of the top of the pot to help reflect light. Day 2: Looking good. I put a few drops of water around the seedling just to dampen the soil a bit. Temperature is a bit hotter than I’d like at 30 degrees with the lights on but that’s down to the outside warm weather conditions. Seems to be okay though. Day 3: Happy and healthy. I put another few drops of water around it again to keep the soil damp, but only in close to the seedling. I’m keeping the top layer of the rest of the soil dry so it’s not appealing for little bugs and mould. Underneath the dry layer the soil is still wet since I soaked it through before planting the seed. Day 4: Getting wider but not any taller which is awesome. I put another few drops of water around the bass of the stem. The humidity doesn’t seem to be enough on its own, probably because of the high temperature. Day 5: Happy and healthy looking. Day 6: Everything is awesome. Day 7: One week old and it’s all looking good. Another few drops of water again today around the stem. Plant is starting to take shape. Wahoo, one week down.

I will be focusing this diary on the smoothie strain but you’ll be seeing some other plants in the tent that are not the same strain. I only have room in this tent so bare with me. There are 2 Smoothie, 1 CNC, and 1 Stardawg (dog). The smoothie are the two bigger ones in the back of the tent. Now, the Smoothie from FastBuds is just killin it right now. Since I popped the beans they have done nothing but show signs of greatness. I don’t think this one is gonna slow down much either. I’m going to push these plants harder than my last harvest. I had a really really amazing harvest last time. I was even able to pull sap out of all 4 plants. 2 Zkittles and 2 LSD-25. This was all done by feeding at the right times and keeping a “moist” soil. Also I want add that I ran pretty much the entire line of Nectar for the Gods at a little less then the recommended ratios. This time I plan on going a tiny bit over the recommended ratios just to see what these plants will do. Trust me, if the plants have a bad response I will go back to the recommended ratios. The reason I want to do this is because I really think these auto strains can handle a lot more than a regular flowering cycle plant would. They can handle more stress, that’s for sure. When do you think I should add a compost tea into my regimen? Soon or wait till the plant is a little larger?

This is my first grow and I'm following the canuck method because it's the easiest . Eventually I would like to get into high frequency fertigation with a coco medium but I want to produce a great smoke in soil first to get some experience.

Day 121 (Day 1st Week 19) and the lady's buds are very clearly packing on weight. She is ready ready for a PK boost again! But if I really have to tell my opinion, I think she doesn't need more P, she's growing very well. On the other hand, a boost won't hurt. It's a pity the high temperatures of summer, she may be really suffering the heat inside the grow room. Luckily prosilicate may help her (as it seems to be) helping on this heat issue. Of course everyday I inspect buds to put those approaching the lights farther. Led lights are too bright and may bleach the precious buds so proximity to lights is the real problem of this current grow. Day 124 (24/01/2020) Helaas i found an incipient spider mites infestation, this f*cking plague always makes its way into my grow. Because of spider mites I sotpped growing outside. Really, I do hat these nasty animals and I would eradicate forever if it was in my power. I found a few leaves with inequivocal symptoms of spider mite bites, and in the back of the leaves I saw eggs, nymphs and adult forms. I started treatment with neem oil 5 mL/L applied as soil drench. I'll repeat in 5 days. on the other hand it's fortunate that I have seen them and so I can start treatment soon before they take over the entire plant. 1/5 day for PK boost: 0.5 mL/L Prosilicate + 1mL/L CalMax + 0.6 g/L Bloom fertilizer + 0.2g/L Boost (inflow 530 ppm) pH 5.85 (run off 450 ppm) Day 125 High temperatures again, with the open tent temp is 29.4 ºC inside... Day 2/5 for PK Boost Day 126 (26 01 2020) PK Boost day 3/5 inflow 550 ppm, run off 530 pmm Day 127 (27/01/2020) PK boost dat 4/5, luckily it was a cooler day today , i kept the tento closed, and temperatures did not exceed 29 ºC which I consider "normal" for the summer (but I would like lower temps though)

Flower development definitely set back right from the beginning with extreme light intensity reaching 1650 ppfd before corrected. Never fully took off I don’t think. Midway through week 7 started to slowly dial back the intensity from 900 at tops to 650 ppfd. This is a 9.5-10 week strain. Using fish shit to keep things ramped up, also Bokashi Bran and worm casting. Also mixing in Gaia seaweed extract 0-0-17 with the fish shit. Not a whole lot more needed that the soil and top dressings doesn’t already have, if anything at all. I just like to give it that extra kick. I had completely wiped out those pesky fungus gnats and future offspring before flower, but they came back after top dressing and adding more soil. They come in the bag soil, and while I was on holidays for 10 days they came back and I wasn’t on top of the new wave of those dirty bastards. Just about got them cleared out again with the use of nematodes and sticky traps.

Hallo dear Growmies, This week, the plan had to be changed again regarding the harvest. As time passed, two other plants also signed up for the chop as the trichs were ripened enough. So we have now 4 ready and one still not. I put the ready ones for 72 hours of darkness in the middle of the week and the lonely one in a separate small tent under a Spider Farmer sf1000. Will wait until she is fully ripened as well.🌱🌞 This is why I decided to make one more week as a flowering and the next report will be the harvest. Tomorrow will start the chop chop.✂️👩‍🌾 They got the last two weeks only PH’d plain water, hoping to increase the quality of the buds. I am still amazed by the autumn colours in the garden. Every pheno has it’s own characteristic. The color, formation of the bud’s, scent on each of these ladies are just lovely.🍁 By the way, it is surprising for me that three different phenotypes grew from the five seeds. It is unusual for this strain. More info follows after harvest. The smell is very strong in the whole house if I open the tent even a little.😎 Is completely unreal and I am so very excited to sample each pheno and share it with you fellows for review. Hi growmies, I transplanted one of the clones into a net-pot, which sits on top of a 20l DWC with an ayirstone and a little pumper circulation and water disruption. This system will move into the little box, as soon as the Blue Mazar and Afghan have moved out. I have chosen the cutting that was the least down the lie in terms of flower and very stubbing from the beginning, as this one is transitioning back to Veg much quicker than the others. The cutting seems to like her new home, as she already starting to rot through the net pot.

Hand trimming keeps the resin glands intact, preserving aroma, texture, and bag appeal. It’s slower, but sacred — the final love letter between grower and flower. The trim collected beneath the bin was later pressed gently into hash bars using a hot-water bottle method — pure pressure and warmth, no solvent. Boy oh boy look at these babies grow I'm studying them more and more to ensure they are happy. I've notice that gelato 41 is producing bud spots like thats what it was ment for. Tropi cherry is coming along but not as fast as G41, and runtz muffin im a little disappointed in but i believe that is my fault for im still new and have only grown 1 plant prior to these 3. It also doesnt help i had to cut the vegitation cycle by 2 weeks as well. and further more I was at least able to give 2 clones away, the rest were still good but couldn't find them homes so i had to throw them away. Next time I'll have all the room they need and can't wait to make mother plants of my favorites.
