Hello Growmies, The final chapter of this incredible journey has unfolded, and it's time to share the bountiful harvest and reflections on the entire cultivation process. Trimming the plant was a joy, and with gentle fingers, I removed all the large fan leaves. The precision in this process revealed the true beauty of the buds, setting the stage for a smooth harvest. With care and gratitude, the plant was chopped, and the buds were hung to dry. The anticipation for what lies ahead only adds to the sense of accomplishment. The wet weight, excluding fan leaves, stands at an impressive 782 grams. The buds are massive, a testament to the efficacy of the nutrients used, particularly the Power Buds. The name seems apt, as the result is a collection of sticky, dense buds with subtle lemon notes and sweet pungent undertones. In the final moments, the plant unveiled some delightful purple hues. While I wish I could have allowed them to intensify further, it's a reminder that each grow is a learning experience. In hindsight, a slightly longer fading period would have accentuated those beautiful colors. We live and learn, and that's the essence of this journey. 8/24 update: Welcome back to my garden! Thanks for following me on this 17+1 strain photoperiod SOG grow adventure! Yes, I said plus one. If you're following me, you may have already seen that I decided to sow one more strain. The first Jenny Kush seed didn't germinate and even if it did, we have 3 possible males in the garden, the rest are feminized. Since I bought sixteen 12 inch square pots to fill a 48" x 48" footprint, and we have some regular seeds in the mix, I figured it'd be a good idea to add one more strain. I went with another breeder I have never grown before, Expert Seeds. The strain is Gorilla x Cookies. My "helper" forgot to wet the seeds after I had sowed them and the top soil was a bit dry. I was not in the garden a little less than 48 hours and I gave them water when sowing, but I hope they didn't dry out too much. If the Gorilla Cookies doesn't germinate, I will rule that one as user error and not on the breeder. The rest of the garden is growing strong with the exception of the Sour Lemonaid. She sprouted looking a bit burnt and has some deformed leaves. In my experience, they usually grow out of it, but only time will tell. The weather has been better: 3 days with no rain and the other days had at least a couple of hours of sun, more or less. We fed compost tea on day 61, other than that mother nature provided rain during the week. I put up netting for the other two Passion #1 (1+4). It is not pretty, but useful, both have taken well to the LST. The pictures on day 66 show it. Number 4 is finally comming along, although number 7 is still far ahead. The ICE are still filling in. I hope they are ready by mid July, because I plan to go on vacation and wanna harvest before then. They are producing resin, but I am not impressed yet. The Cream are going to be ready by mid July for sure. Number 8 is already showing up to 20% amber triches, depending on where you look. I might harvest the main bud next week and let the sides sit for another week or so. Number 9 will need 2 more weeks at least, from what I can tell. I havent even ckecked her triches so far. Defoliated all autos some more and took of the lowest shoots on the Passion. Addendum: unfortunately the time lapse on my security cam bugged out and I had to start a new one. I hope, this one will record until October...

Well folks, this was a PPFD and CO2 controlled grow and I didn't use any bloom boosters like the Big Bud or Canna Boost etc.. Results are crazy. I managed to collect over 760 grams of dried and fine trimmed nugs. The flowering lights is the LEDWisdom Coral 600W IP67 water and dust proof grow lights. For the first two weeks, I used Rosa 400W and Rosette 200W grow lights from LEDWisdom. When Coral arrived, I changed the light setup so the total lights used is 600Watts. Anyway Coral grow lights have near 3.0 umols/J efficacy and makes your garden yield like crazy no matter what. I'm sure I would have collected more if I used a bloom booster but I wanted to show you guys that you can achieve great results with a great grow light even without flower boosters. You can check my other diaries growing with the Rosa 400W and Rosette 200W. These lights are also killing it and they have around 2.7 umol/J efficacy. Lights were drawing 590 Watts from the power outlet on the wall so I can say that the whole grow yielded more than 1.3 grams per Watt. These strains are not heavy yielders except the Chocolate Chunk but I only had one plant of this strain and she was the smallest plant in the tent. It didn't affect the total yield much. Pink Kush yields are pretty standart but the quality is exceptional. On the crossbreed strain, yield was slightly more than the Pink Kush plants and the yield from each strain is like below; -Chocolate Chunk: 80 grams -Pink Kush: 320 grams -Purple Punch x Pink Kush: 360 grams I made some COB's and also some kief and has with the trim. there wasn't much to trim in the end because I kept my plants in good shape. This was a joy to grow and now I have an amazing stash of high quality dried material stored in vacuum. I'm ready for another pandemic but I hope we won't have one 😅 Wish you the best of luck in your garden. Stay green 💪

The plants are developing really well! I’m happy with the uniformity I’ve achieved. It didn’t take much work to get it — the growth is compact and moderate in height, exactly what I was aiming for given my available space. The risers under the pot helped the MilkyWay F1, which is in the smaller pot, while the other three Apollo F1s have shown good overall genetic uniformity, even though, as I mentioned earlier, one of the three is the overachiever 🤓 Apollo #3 is richer, more productive — it’s got an extra gear. The scent is starting to express itself more clearly for all of them, with delicate, floral top notes reminiscent of linden and jasmine, and deliciously fruity undertones. For now, there’s little lingering scent — no skunky smell at all.

Hola 🐴 Tobaccos growing, flowering and drying nicely. Pretty huge plant now with flower head. Humidity has been between 45 to 80 in wood shed and leaves drying slowly. Smallest ones was already dry so I but them to the jar with 62% bovedas. In couple days I'm going to taste it 🚬 With smokey hopes 🤞🚬

I also made a few upgrades in the bloom tent and moved a few of the cultivars into bloom under 12/12. Also, I realized my BlueLab Conductivity Meter has the option to switch to EC. Since EC is the most accurate way to measure the nutrient concentration in a solution, I will now be measuring and reporting EC readings rather than PPM. I am honestly super stoked about every single plant in this run. That said, I think I am probably most impressed by the 🍭🎅🏻 COTTON CANDY CANE lady from Emerald Triangle Seeds. She is incredibly vigorous. She was started nearly a month after all the others (except the 🦍🍪 GORILLA x COOKIES) and has already caught up to some of the taller plants in the run. Special thanks to those guys for sending the freebies for me to try out! Definitely want to try more from this breeder! She is almost a month behind the other plants and is almost as tall as the tallest cultivars started on 8/10. All in all, everything looks great. Each stake goes to the bottom of the 12" pot. All transplants have nice solid root balls due to being slightly rootbound. I knew I'd likely run short on premixed soil, so I decided to transplant the largest plants first. Of course, I ran out of soil after 11 plants were transplanted. It seems like I used a lot more soil than usual with this method and in tgese pots. - I mixed a new batch of soil using the same recipe. I will give the five smallest gorls a few more days to grow taller. That will give this batch of soil a little time to innoculate. - I moved the 11 transplants into the 96" x 48"bloom tent under 12/12 lighting schedule. 🚿FEED DAY!🚿 She received approximately 1 gallon of solution. Another demanding week for these ladies but they have reached a milestone. Week 8, and my custom fit SCROG has been installed! ❤️ At Day 50 I separated my 7 gallon girls and my 5 gallon girl. Once done, I began the very easy process of adding my “floating” SCROG. I use ratchet straps, just like the ones that come with lights to secure the four corners of the screen to the top of my tent. This allows me to adjust the screen height as necessary when 1) first installing and 2) once the full stretch of flower has occurred, I can tweak it a bit to balance the canopy as best as possible. It’s not 100%, I still get some over achievers, but I find it useful as another option. I like to do a major defoliation before I set the ladies in. Typically till this time, I have done almost no defoliation, just LST and some HST techniques. I adjusted the ladies placement to allow growth out all sides of the screen, set the screen height and began tucking and bending. The defoliation and bending allows light to penetrate all those side shoots that would have amounted to nothing, and they become top shoots as they grow up and form an even canopy. I don’t like to weave, it can damage the new shoots and cause growth problems, but the goal is to get as even a coverage as you can while allowing for plant growth in all directions. Once complete, I will give the girls about a week to recover and grow those new shoots. I like to have about 80% coverage of the screen, before I change my light cycles to flower 12/12… and if they are healthy and strong. I’ll decide this weekend if it is time ❤️👊🇨🇦😎 Happy Gardening!

Semana 1 Floracion

Que pasa familia, estamos de nuevo con la Segunda semana de floración de estas blue spider de Zambezaseeds. Ya están las preflores formadas y ahora seguirán formándose ya veis , estas si tienen buen color también. Todo va sobre ruedas , añadimos esta semana el BETASHARK de Agrobeta. Los niveles de humedad también son los correctos van entre 50%/65% de humedad relativa. Por supuesto el Ph lo estamos dejando alrededor de 6. Hasta aquí es todo, buenos humos 💨💨💨

I used a green gelato seed (Mother) in order to take clones I germinated the seed with a paper towel. The germination time served to wash the coconut with 1000pppm of calimagic, then I added it with 30% perlite and wetted the soil with GH Flovanova GROW+Calimagic+DiamondNectar at 400ppm. These processes lasted 2 days, when the seed was ready I placed it in the soil, and from then on I watered it once a day with a pH always between 5.8 and 6.0. And the following weeks I always use these rules along with the plant's responses: After it opens up and shows the cotyledons, water twice a day. After showing 2 knots 3 times a day and increased to 600ppm of the same solution. After 4-5 knots, water 5 times a day and gradually increase to 900ppm-1000ppm. I put some clones of the mother to root, underneath the rock wool tubes I placed 1/2 finger of water with FloraNovagrow solution up to 400ppm. they rooted as shown in the photo after 1 week and 3 days. I put it in the final 14-liter vase with the soil already washed and the preparation processes done. The mother was transferred to the 60x60 greenhouse, which will flower before the clones.

Day 58 Update: Watered both plants with 3/4gal until runoff. Water was dosed with Terpinator at 15ml/gal. I will start the flush on Plant #1 next watering. Added a stake and a plant yoyo to Plant #2 to support the heavier branches. Day 62 Update: Starting flush on Plant #1. Watered both plants with almost a gallon until runoff. Plant #2's water was dosed with 3/4tsp of Big Bloom, 1/4tsp of Grow Big, and 1/4tsp of Tiger Bloom. Plant #1's water is just plain pH balanced water. I will start watering every 3 days now. I will start the flush on Plant #2 after one more nutrient watering.

My plant is doing well, and it’s amazing to see visible progress every few hours. 🌱✨ The buds are in full throttle, and I feel like the plant is now needing more water as the pots are drying out faster. 💧 Watering: I’m still watering with 1L every two days. 💦 The dosage of BioBizz Grow and BioBizz Bloom has been increased according to the BioBizz feeding schedule. The pH of the water remains constant at 6.0. ⚖️💧 Temperature & Humidity: Luckily, the weather in Germany is cooling down, so I no longer have to deal with temperatures of up to 30°C in the tent. 🌡️🍂 I’m expecting temperatures to settle between 18-23°C now that we’re in September, and humidity should stabilize around 50-55%. This will create perfect conditions for the upcoming drying process. 🍃✨ Plant Health: The plant is looking good overall. 🌿 I did have some calcium and magnesium deficiency symptoms recently, but I’ve managed to get that under control with CalMag. 💪 I’m continuing to carefully remove any leaves that are noticeably blocking light to the buds and hindering photosynthesis. 🍃✂️ Vibes: Every day, my plant still enjoys an hour of Lo-fi Jazz music. 🎶🌱 I think it helps set the perfect growing atmosphere. 🎷 I’ll keep you all posted, and remember, I upload new pictures to the diary every day! 📸🌿 Stay tuned!
