Weather wise this week was great up until the weekend. Rain, rain and more fecking rain which will cause my nemesis the slugs to appear again like a thief in the night.. The smell at the moment is very pungent, very much like the stink from a zoo! Weird but sure is strong. I have just added some bat shit into the feed along with a table spoon of molasses to give her sugar boost. I can wait for this lady to finish she is looking real nice if I do say so my self. Lol.

~ Day 71 Update ~ Hello everyone! Hola! I’m Meus and this is my 10th weekly update for “First Mainline Attempt!”. I’d like to welcome new & veteran growers, Thanks for taking the time to stop by :) ~ Progress ~ You know, I’m astounded by the level of growth in this past week, my mind is blown! 5" of growth compared to the avg of 1" for the past few weeks (9,8,7, etc), just wow 😱. The smell is pungent, dank, and slightly sweet. I can only dream of what these girls will skunk out, soon, very soon... I’d like to flower now but I have a few small issues. First: I wanted to stop at 8 toppings but I need clones of the others so everyone gets topped to keep an even canopy. Of course I’m not taking 8 clones each 😏, just 2-3 of each strain (5 strains, 6 plants; 2 phenotypes) to put in my 2nd tent till these girls (mainlined beasts) are harvested. This is ambitious though I’m optimistic that this will work out 🙏 Second: Related to the first issue I’m going to need a trellis net to support these girls with their 16 tops. Thing is, all my plant have varying flowering schedules (55 to 70+ days). I’ll need to make a net set up that I can cut out each plant individually as they’re ready to harvest. Third: MOLD! Though it’s not a lot I do have a bit of mold developing at the bottom of the fabric pots (which are known to mold). I’m going to switch to Superoots Air-Pot so I can avoid the mold. They’re $10+ a pop so I might have to wait till my next grow to afford the amount I need to make a full switch. Depending on how things go I’ll start flowering at week 13. Now concerning the mold I found a few ways to deal with my problem without harming or altering taste of these young ladies. This will be a tough 11 - 14 weeks, I’ll keep ya updated fam! ~ Individual progress notes ~ (will post full information soon, update delayed for personal reasons) [Purple Urkle #1] Height: 14" Tops: 8 Notes: 14 inches... That's quite a climb :) Though she's stretchy like her sister I'm excited, can't wait to see the development in the next few weeks of veg 😊 [Purple Urkle #2] Height: 13.2" Tops: 8 Notes: I'm surprised at the uniformity of these two sisters, I'm going to veg a bit longer and get me some clones just in case ;) [CBD Blueberry] Height: 9.8" Tops: 8 Notes: I thought this girl was a goner, definitely didn't respond to the mainline well like the others, wonder why? 😶 Still I'm impressed that my smallest plant is filling in, though she looks weird I still love her and her minions <3 [White Widow] Height: 11.2 Tops: 8 Notes: Well... This was one of my smallest girls, she's by far the bushiest and most filled in. For an example look at her root mass, one word, insane! Roots are spreading everywhere, so aggressive and the trunk is huge, perfect for transporting all those nutes. Tanya here recovered from a split too, awesome :) [Mazar] Height: 13.8 Tops: 8 Notes: Taller but just as dense as the white widow, the Mazar has potential! A beautiful, healthy canopy, one of my best girls. It's a good feeling knowing that my hard work is paying off 😭 I'm afraid of topping this one because she is so dense that 16 tops will be off the hook, better make a plan soon 🙏 [Super Silver Haze] Height: 11.2 Tops: 8 Notes: I’m starting to get impatient, I love this strain! Well, most strains developed by Arjan are great <3 I will need to feed soon with diluted nutes, she looks hungry a bit. Other than that she’s a healthy young lady that’s ready to flower :) ~ Final Thoughts ~ Where to start... I’m excited! Getting my clones are my top priority right now, then I'll focus on canopy support. I’ve come a long way from my first grow, even though I failed I learned a lot. Those lessons are keeping me on my toes and I’m learning more everyday. Thank you to those who have been influential to my success, much love! I can honestly say Grow Diaries is the best! Week 8 begins for GG4, the last week of feeding nutrients. Week 7 went really well, the extra feeding definitely helped midway through the week. Looking forward to flushing this girl in a week's time.

Plant is yellowing slightly. Thought to get this girl enough nutrients in a solocup. But. Shes still growing, so we're gonna ride it out..

Cut down on day 110, after 30 hours of darkness.. Added ice blocks to the substrate over the last couple days and got some lovely red and purple notes from it... Found one more spot of mould in a main cola, total loss of 40 grams of wet flower. Not a huge problem seeing as I still have colas the size of my forearm. Half wet trimmed on the large colas to reduce risk of mould, left less dense and smaller nugs with most leaves on to aid a slow dry. Hung in as little light possible in ~19°c at ~55%RH with filtered air from outside and extract system, dehumidifier circulating air in the room. Air refresh rate is ~90 seconds.

End of week 4, flowering has started. Zkittlez #1 and #2 have 6-7 tops each and will hopefully stretch alot these upcoming weeks. - 12L air-pot with 15% perlite - X6 COB LED Full Spectrum (303.5W±5%) Good vibes only 🙏

Beginning of week 8! Things are going well in the tent, new life is thriving and ladies are coming along nicely! Here's the true color of this baby

Day 33-40 (May 24th-May 31st) (Day 34) I just found a herm branch on the tight blueberry pheno. It looks like a random pollen sack opened right above a lower branch. I removed the sack but I saw a small amount of dust fall onto one of the lower branches. I’m going to leave it to see if it will pollinate that small branch at all. I spent a good 5 minutes looking closely for bananas or claws but couldn’t find anymore. The main bud is clearly unaffected so I will just leave it unless it is visibly seeding itself. Too bad because I’m really excited for this plant. (Day 36) Not a lot has happened since I flushed them. Growth actually looks healthy and I don’t see any deficiencies on anything yet. (Day 37) Both of these badazz cheese phenos are picture perfect and easily hold up against Canadian and California quad grade. I might try to reveg them at the end and take some clones. They have this unique pungent, grassy, sour milk smell that is just wonderful. The density and bud structure is looking great too. This whole plant will probably take 3 minutes to trim if that. (Day 38) Just found a banana on the shitty blueberry pheno. This pheno is trash and I would honestly throw it away if it didn’t mess up the 3 perfect rows. It has almost no frost, no smell, is airy and has bad structure. I’ve actually never seen a plant with such little frost. Even outdoors. (Day 39) I think most of this tent will be done by day 60 but I will probably ride it out until day 70+. I don’t think the blueberries or the jacks will fill out very much either way but taking it too day 70 will ensure maximum production from each plant.

It's always a good thing when there is nothing really to report. It's been smooth sailing this week! They are growing so fast and healthy!!! The light is still only at 660w of the 880w available. I can't wait to see some flowers start forming!! Should be this week. My previous tent record is 782g I believe and I would like to shatter that this harvest with this new light!!

Green Crack was an easy minded grow, medium height with a great outcome. Branches and stalk we're of average thickness and height medium with a slight short weight. No deficiencies; LST, super cropping, and topping creating 10 tops shewas a light eater. Under 8 week Indica dominant strain a solid simple grow for the novice grower 💯🌱🎋2852500

Vamos al lío, el ph se controla en 6.2 , la temperatura la tenemos entre 22/24 grados y la humedad ronda el 50%. El Tetra 9 fue añadido de manera foliar, cambiamos el fotoperiodo a 12-12 desde que actualizó esta semana. Estás próximas semanas veremos cómo avanzan. I split the stem at the top cola’s and trimmed off all the excess leaves. Swapped out a light to one that barely fits my tent and running at 50% and below.
