But they are all thriving! I will defoliate again in a week as I start overdrive and prepare for flush 2 weeks after! I’m literally proving all these nutrients we are told to buy are not necessary. I’m using Dutch pro as my base nutrients and used formulex and moonshine during veg and during bloom using rezin and will use overdrive and flawless finish to aid flush! I’ve been through all advance nutrients except the connoisseur base range! But all other products I’ve used and see no point!! But I’ll define that one day and do a back to back comparison! It’s always been my thing as I was searching for best methods and nutrients and how I’ve come so far with that nearly 4 years later and I’m where I wanted to be! Stay tuned there’s more to come!!

So, here we are in the final week. I think it’s been a laborious but pleasant journey. In retrospect, I believe things went well, even with some mistakes I made along the way: 1-At first, I thought the Gorilla Z seeds were actually Gorilla Cookies (yeah, I know—big mistake from a small detail). So I planned a 12-week cycle for those plants, only to later realize they were actually 10-week strain. I don’t think that was the right decision either, because while 12 weeks might have been a bit too long, 10 weeks definitely wouldn’t have been enough to fully develop their genetic potential. 2-Following the same logic with the Gorilla Z, the Atlas F1—originally a 10-week strain—would probably have benefited from an extra week, making it 11 weeks total (at least with my setup and nutrients). 3-I think I may have put too much stress on the plants during the LST process, which reduced the final height of most of them. I think all three genetics are very resilient and strong—especially Gorilla Z, Afghan Pearl stands out as a particularly stable and resistant strain. As for Atlas F1, even though it was the one I neglected the most (sorry about that), it still showed impressive overall stability and resilience. tomorrow morning gonna cut them.

Hello. This is the end of week 10 of flowering... and it's harvest time. Just shot some quick video's to show what they look like after flushing. Should take around 4 or 5 days to harvest all 13 plants. With the weighing of the raw branches before wet trimming them and writing down the weight, And the taking of the photo's, making them look good, it takes a little longer to harvest doing a diary. Our fearless Tangie had outgrown her previous home, so we bravely transferred her to a spacious 25-liter fabric pot. With the assistance of Aptus Holland Mycor Mix, we ensured a smooth transition, providing her with beneficial mycorrhizal fungi. These underground helpers are like her very own ninja squad, supporting her root system and establishing a strong foundation. To continue supporting her growth and development, we incorporated the incredible Aptus All-in-One Pellets into the soil. These pellets act as potent ninja power capsules, packed with essential nutrients. Each watering session delivers the perfect dose of nourishment, fueling our Tangie's journey to greatness. She's thriving with optimal health and vitality. And let's not forget our loyal companions, the trusty Lego Ninja buddies. Who would have guessed that little plastic warriors could be such fantastic companions? After the successful transplant, it was time to introduce our Tangie to the art of scrogging. We skillfully installed a scrog net, creating a framework for her to weave her way through. This setup resembles a challenging ninja obstacle course, encouraging her to grow horizontally and maximize her bud production. It's truly remarkable to witness her impressive moves as she gracefully and sexily fills up the space. Of course, proper nutrition remains crucial for our Tangie's ninja training. Instead of using Aptus Holland Veg Watering Mix and All-in-One Liquid separately, we have now transitioned to solely relying on the pellets. These convenient premixed pellets integrated into the soil eliminate the need for additional liquid NPK. This simplification allows us to focus on other essential aspects of her training. To ensure she remains pest-free, we have been diligently conducting leaf picking sessions, which also serve as an opportunity to check for any unwanted visitors. So far, our Tangie has passed with flying colors, and her vibrant 9-fingered leaves are a fantastic sign of her overall health. As our Tangie continues her epic ninja journey, she basks in a PPFD of 600. These photons act as her loyal ninja training partners, stimulating robust photosynthesis and fostering explosive growth. The stretch has started. We are on day 7 since I flipped to 12 12 light schedule. 12/28/2017 was the day we started the lights on 12 hours. I did let her sit in 24 hours of darkness which she seemed to do fine in. I have had to top off the resovouir twice she is a thirsty girl. No stress signs from the increase in nutrients. I will be lowering the amount given after a few day flush in the next week. I only increase for the transition this was something I was shown a few years back by another grower and has not let me down. I will stick to the flora trio by GH. I do not add anything else like bud fatteners as some people call them. I am a firm believer they are not needed. This is just my opinion on the matter.

A bunch of deficiencies coming along.

This week I added a new controller to handle up to 8 functions. I installed a new heater, my old humidifier and some LED strips to the controller. Targeting a VPD at 1.0 day and night. Trying to keep the nutrient ppm under 900 and ph at 6.0 in the reservoirs. Ordered a second ph pen because I don’t trust my readings. Will be here by Thursday. Friday: Checked the ppm in the reservoirs and it’s at 1,000. Added more RO water with extra nitrogen to bring the ppm level down to 925. Saturday: I installed an updated AC Infinity controller 69 Pro Plus (controls 8 pieces of equipment) which allowed me to add a humidifier, corner LEDs and a heater to the controller. Overall I’m extremely impressed with this AC Infinity equipment. My VPD is within the range I want to achieve (.8-1.1). I programmed it to maintain 78 degrees and 67% humidity during the day, 73 degrees and 63% humidity at night. Charts posted also show the impact of an open tent compared to the closed environment. The heater is constantly pushing fresh air into the tent, so I don’t need to cycle the exhaust fan often. Rewired the tent again and moved the controller later that night. I mounted the controller on the wall. Added Mars Hydro UV/IR lighting to fill out all 8 slots on the controller. Sunday: I checked the ph in the reservoirs (6.8….i had filled it with 6.0 ph) and the ppm (1200 ppm…I had filled it with 900). So evaporation and possibly a mismeasurement of ph. I topped ff reservoirs with slightly stronger nutes and adjusted ph to 5.8 in the reservoirs. Poor magnesium absorption could be driving some leaf yellowing. Effective tomorrow, I’m switching over to Heads Formula which consistently feeds GH Flora series nutes at Micro (6ml/g), Bloom (9ml/g) and cal mag (3ml/g). Turned on the UV/IR lights for 3 minutes every 8 hours. I’m easing the plants up to 5 minutes every 6 hours which will provide the recommended 20 minutes of IR per day. This will help the plants stretch a little more. Monday: checked ph and ppm in reservoirs. 6.1ph and 880ppm. VPD remains stable except when I open the tent. Tuesday: checked ph (6.4) and ppm (880) in reservoirs. Added .5ml of ph down to two reservoirs. Still see slight yellowing between the veins but it’s not getting worse (might be improving). Adjusting ph down to 6.0 target might have solved this. The plants grew by 1-2” last night…..is the infrared light working already? Decided to mix up fresh nutes for the reservoirs following Heads formula. 6ml Micro and 9ml Bloom per gallon of RO water. Added 5 ml of CalMag too. Ending ppm was 1080 which is too high, so I diluted down to 880 with RO water. 6.0 ph. Wednesday: plants grew another .75 inches last night. I topped above the 5th node. Thursday: added RO water with heavy cal mag to reservoirs to increase amount of CalMag available.

Overall everything is doing great. The Critical+ has the most trichrome coverage so far, but the DinaMed CBD+ has the thickest and densest buds. The Cream & Cheese CBD+ is somewhere in the middle - medium trichome coverage, medium density. But the Cream & Cheese CBD+ is the bushiest with the most amount of sugar leaves down the stalks with the buds. The 3 Cherry CBD Hemp plants are doing great also. They are the smallest 3 plants in group, but starting to show some red hairs. I think I'm about a month away from harvest. I'm not going to rush it, but that's what my guess is for now. I transplanted my babies from dixie cups to larger nursery pots. There are a variety of seedlings and clones going. I'll start a new diary for these babies soon with details on which strains, etc...

📆 Week 12, 7-12 July 2024 Harvest 8 July - Turned light power down to 25%. Changed nutrient solution to RO water to begin flush. 11 July - Harvest 12 July - Begin curing time. 📑 Harvest time! She is ripe, danky, sticky, full of resin, solid, and I am pleasently suprised at the yield. This is not your ordinary Auto Afghan variety. She produces heavy buds and a lot of them. This is also the first auto I have grown using DWC in 12 weeks without manipulation - 18 hours straight from start to finish. I pushed her to the limit. Now she will hang in the closet at 50-55% RH and 70 degrees F, for about 7-10 days curing. Then she will trimmed and put into one quart glass mason jars, with 62% Boveda TurpShield and burped until 62% RH is maintained. The full potency potential and terp profile will be reached in about 30-45 days. 📆 19 July 2024 The Smoq Report: After 7 days of hanging, she was ready to cut. I trim and shape each individual bud, removing unwanted leaf and stem. It’s a process but worth it if you smoke bud. Her potency is evident. It will take the experienced smoker to a satisfying high and keep you there for a good hour or more before you want another hit. The smell and taste is of a typical Afghan. I was expecting a heavier yield, but in the end I guess we all hope for a little more! Maybe next grow! 🍶 Nutrient solution changed to RO water 💧 Using reverse osmosis water with EC/TDS at 0 🔆 Light power at 25%, DLI 20 canopy coverage at 18hrs 😤 Using PYPABL, Air Pump, 400GPH That is it for this grow. C est la fin pour la strawberry gorilla, elle a quelques trichromes ambrés. Elle sera récoltée demain à D86. Elle est petite mais les têtes ont l air très lourde et elle sent tes fort ! Il reste environ une semaine pour l orange sherbet. Elle a l air délicieuse avec des têtes très denses également. C est celle que j ai le plus hâte de goûter. Il reste un peu plus d une semaine pour la gorilla cookies, Elle est énorme avec de grosses têtes !
