FBA 2025 turned Frostbanger was a fun grow in many ways. First, my friend gifted me the seed and I grew outside while she grew inside. It was fun to watch the plants grow in different settings and different growing methods. If you have been following me, then you know our weather has been crazy here. We have had lows of 50* and highs of 90*. We had a hail storm and lots and lots of rain. Today, I was. forced to take my Frostbanger down. I found a couple of buds rotting and it is supposed to rain for the next 4 days, so this grow has come to an end. But first, true to Frostbanger's description, "Just keep in mind, this strain’s dank, pungent odor is super strong—meaning a carbon filter is a must to mask the aroma in any grow room and she’ll make her presence known when grown outside" and boy did my backyard smell. Also, just like its name, it is a "trichome-studded beauty." Sticky, sticky, sticky. It also had a nice fruity smell, almost like a cantaloup. I like to wet trim, so I spent the past 2 days trimming. My wet bud weight is 102.19 ounces. Not A big harvest. Had to throw away some bud rot and I had to take this plant down early --But that is how a hail storm, cold weather, hot weather, Rain and more rain will effect a harvest. I'm happy to be somewhat successful. FYI: today's weather: It has rained 2.05 inches in the past 24 hours and expecting 1.6 inches in the next 24 hours.. I am pretty proud of Frostbanger's cola as it is 10 inches long and approximately 9 inches around. Wish I could have seen it with 2 more weeks of growth. I may not have the growing experience of others, but I am super happy with this grow and glad I could enter a contest. It was fun!

I thought I wasn’t going to use the net trellis but it is a must and it help me eliminate everything below. Some may say I cut off a lot of yield but I’m okay leaving out the pop corn buds and just keep the top colas or those that praying to the light

Germination (4-6 to 16-6) White Widow - Green House Seeds Co. Genetics: Brazilian x South Indian. 25.76% THC, 60% Indica, 40% Sativa. Flowering time: 8 weeks. I chose this strain because i bought it alot in the coffeeshop in 2018, nowadays the White Widow tastes nothing like how i remember it to be. So i decided to grow it my self. I read somewere that Green House has the most original genetics and its the seedbank where i am the most familiar with so thats an easy choice! 4-6 Today i put 2 White Widow seeds into a wet coffee filter to germinate. 6-6 After 48 hours the 2 seeds are ready to be put into a 0.5L pot filled with some Plagron Lightmix. The lightmix has some nutes for the first 3 weeks or so, i will feed nutes when i transplant them into 18L AutoPots with 70/30 Coco-Perlite. I made a feed with 0.5 gr Calcium and 0.2 ml Rootstimulator per liter. EC: 0.4 PH: 5.8, and watered the pot a bit. I let them stay in the dark untill i see them above the soil. 7-6 After 24 hours they are above the ground and i removed the plastic foil covering the pots. 8-6 Temperature: 19.5 to 24.1 degrees Humidity: 41% to 70% Watering: 20 ml. 9-6 Temperature: 18.8 to 23.4 degrees Humidity: 62% to 74% 10-6 Temperature: 19.4 to 23.9 degrees Humidity: 60% to 74% 11-6 Temperature: 19.4 to 25.2 degrees Humidity: 43% to 71% Watering: 25 ml. 12-6 Temperature: 21.2 to 25.4 degrees Humidity: 44% to 60% 13-6 Temperature: 22.2 to 25.9 degrees Humidity: 44% to 71% Watering: 15 ml. 14-6 Watering: 60 ml. A week later and today is the last day of the germination phase. They are starting to grow faster from now on.

Day 30. Girls are starting to look very good !!! No preflowers yet, but think transition will start this week. Leaves are a bit too green, but I still will feed them this week. Changed light cycle to 18/6 Day 33. Girls are happy and all looks very promising !!! Applied BioBizz Leaf Coat before this morning and girls finally loved the stuff !!! You get most with this product when plant is bigger and have loads of foliage, so perfect for last few weeks of veg period. Happy Growing !!!

During 1st week I might put the pot a bit to hight to the lamp. Clay pot got heated and caused some burns to the leafs. Now that it started to smell a bit I turned on the exhost with carbon filter and lowered the pot down. Passive wind intake through the lower level and exhost throw the top level makes a nice draft inside. I am using a small pot to try to keep the plant small and inside the bucket. I do have a tric ready to extend bucket hight by a 20 cm, but still previous plant in a bigger pot overgrew it and now finishing flowering at the balcony. This is my first mimosa and second grow in this bucket. Not going to apply hst, at least not at start, maybe at the later if I will see it's going to grow to high.

Harvest time for Mandarin dreams round 2. Both phenos did amazing during round 2 under the Mars-Hydro TSW2000 light. The buds are incredible and the way these ladies grew was very impressive. Hopefully they are heavy buds, will know in 7-10 days if they have the dry weight to back up their awesome appearance. April 16 update - MD2 - 70 grams, MD1 - 73 grams. Again results are close to round 1. The TSW2000 light delivers!

Hello Diary. The second week of flowering is behind us. I did a little defoliation this week, I honestly didn’t dare remove more leaves and branches, I didn’t know how they would react to it. Maybe I needed more? The temperature is still high, sometimes rising to 29, 30 degrees, but mostly around 28. Humidity in the air is an average of about 55% but sometimes rises to 60%. The problem is frequent rains this summer which creates high humidity in the air and this affects the humidity in the box as well. The flowers are developing nicely, and they have started to smell as well, but let the pictures speak for themselves. The plants are big for my conditions, the 120 x 60 box size is perhaps too small for three plants (two Hulkberries and one Green Gelato), so the real jungle is in the box. It’s already a challenge to take them out every week for a photo shoot, but I try to be as careful with them as possible. The Hulkberry has reached a height of 113 cm which is on the verge of acceptability. If it continues another ten cm, I’ll be in trouble because the lights can’t lift more than this. 18/07/2020. - Day 30. Defoliation. I removed the leaves at the very bottom of the plant to make it easier for me to water them, after that I watered the plants but this time I didn’t put BioBizz, I just watered them with clean water. 21/07/2020. - Day 33. Watering. This time I gave them BioBizz, on schedule for the second week of flowering. I also added CalMag 1.5ml / L, preventively. While they don’t show they’re missing anything, I’ll keep adding CalMag. 23/07/2020. - Day 35. Photography and height measurement. Dzień 21. Moje młode warzywa rosną zdrowo i wyglądają niewdzięcznie. Warunki w growboxie pozostają bez zmian. Oświetlenie 16/8, temperatura 25°C w dzień / 21°C w nocy. Glebę spryskuje mieszanką wody i odżywki BIOBIZZ Bio Grow 1,3 ml / 0,75 litra. Nawadnianie stosuje według oceny.miernika wilgotności w ziemi oraz po sprawdzeniu metodą na palca. Ok. 250ml roztworu na roślinę, co 48 godzin

Moin moin, und ein knackiges High5 in die Runde die erste Woche ist geschafft die Damen sind in ihren Übergangs Töpfen angekommen und haben sich dort auch schon gut zurecht gefunden sie wachsen wirklich schön und rasant. Habe die Damen zum eintopfen in die rooting töpfe nach Plan von Bio tabs eingesetzt sprich 0.5 gramm mycotrex sind das Loch für die Dame gestreut Dame drauf Erde drüber zum fest setzten und mit einer Lösung aus destiliertem Wasser mit bactrex und orgatrex angegossen ca 330 ml pro lady hatte die ersten Tage das Gefühl irgendwie kommen die lady's nicht, aber an Tag 3 nach dem umtopfen konnte ich jeden Tag Fortschritte sehen. Zu meiner neuen LED Lampe ich hatte die Lampe die ersten 2 tage der vegi zu dicht dran bin mit 40 cm eingestiegen hatte aber das gefühl das sie sehr langsam kommt und sehr dichte nodien bilden wird daher hab ich sie angehoben und siehe da die Abstände werden etwas länger, habe mich jetzt bei 55 cm eingependelt und werde die vegi wohl auch mit 55 cm fahren, handling ist ungefähr so wie bei einer 400 watt ndl/Mh Lampe denke ich mal(fühlt sich zumindest grade so an) aber ich finde das die Damen tatsächlich schöner aussehen unter der LED als unter einer Ndl/Mh Lampe aber um dort genaueres drüber zu sagen werde ich wohl noch ein paar Wochen warten müssen. Ich bin auf jeden Fall zu Frieden mit dem jetzigen Fortschritt und freue mich diesen Grow durch zu ziehen.... In this week wheatear was very bad. It rain a lot and plant suffer, It was attacked by mold in one of the apical buds. I remove it in the first stage of mold, I hope that spores was not spread on the rest of plant🌧️😥

Alrighty growmies 👌🏻 so I’ve had a bit of a week set back due to issues, but back on track, the heat wave has definitely given a few girls a bit of a hard time not being able to attend but none the less, lifted the light again, trying to get on top of this PH fluctuating I’m having again using these stupid PH drops as my PH pen also keep jumping. Besides that I’ve managed to make a new home for the clones and got them under a couple UFO LEDs so that will house them for a few more weeks and al bring out the 600w HPS for them, but these runtz since being repotted have not taking nicely to it at all even using dynomyco so again hopefully by Friday they should be past that stage if not on flowering either way going to be a bomb scare when these taller plants start to stretch might have to bring out the net for sure 🤣🤙🏻 if all goes wrong at least I have my clones for back ups, keep eyes open for the incoming fire thou 🔥

We’re getting closer, they’ve upped their water intake this week, so I’m thinking we’re on pretty much the last push now! Absolutely stinks of pineapples in there, with a gassy undertone. I’m excited to see how these finish up!! Hopefully not too much longer now.
