Week 11 - Day 1 : Pinched branches from subject 1 and 2. As seen in the videos uploaded. Week 11 - Day 2 : Changed water schedule to water-water-feed, watering my plants with 4 Liters per plant every 3th day. Pinched branches recovered successfully. Week 11 - Day 3 : Pinched lower branches of subject 1, take a good look and tell me what you think! Week 11 - Day 4 : Pinches branches of subjects 2 and 3, take a good look and tell me what you think! Week 11 - Day 5 : Pinches branches of subject 1, take a good look and tell me what you think, had my first harvest of ladybugs in the garden and released them on my plants, noticed that I have very little spider mites on my plants. Posted week 1 to 9 on my diary. Week 11 - Day 6 : Woke up to subject 5 being damaged, What could have caused this? Too heavy branches? Maybe an animal that accidentally broke the branch and took off. ~ Day 71 Update ~ Hello everyone! Hola! I’m Meus and this is my 10th weekly update for “First Mainline Attempt!”. I’d like to welcome new & veteran growers, Thanks for taking the time to stop by :) ~ Progress ~ You know, I’m astounded by the level of growth in this past week, my mind is blown! 5" of growth compared to the avg of 1" for the past few weeks (9,8,7, etc), just wow 😱. The smell is pungent, dank, and slightly sweet. I can only dream of what these girls will skunk out, soon, very soon... I’d like to flower now but I have a few small issues. First: I wanted to stop at 8 toppings but I need clones of the others so everyone gets topped to keep an even canopy. Of course I’m not taking 8 clones each 😏, just 2-3 of each strain (5 strains, 6 plants; 2 phenotypes) to put in my 2nd tent till these girls (mainlined beasts) are harvested. This is ambitious though I’m optimistic that this will work out 🙏 Second: Related to the first issue I’m going to need a trellis net to support these girls with their 16 tops. Thing is, all my plant have varying flowering schedules (55 to 70+ days). I’ll need to make a net set up that I can cut out each plant individually as they’re ready to harvest. Third: MOLD! Though it’s not a lot I do have a bit of mold developing at the bottom of the fabric pots (which are known to mold). I’m going to switch to Superoots Air-Pot so I can avoid the mold. They’re $10+ a pop so I might have to wait till my next grow to afford the amount I need to make a full switch. Depending on how things go I’ll start flowering at week 13. Now concerning the mold I found a few ways to deal with my problem without harming or altering taste of these young ladies. This will be a tough 11 - 14 weeks, I’ll keep ya updated fam! ~ Individual progress notes ~ (will post full information soon, update delayed for personal reasons) [Purple Urkle #1] Height: 14" Tops: 8 Notes: 14 inches... That's quite a climb :) Though she's stretchy like her sister I'm excited, can't wait to see the development in the next few weeks of veg 😊 [Purple Urkle #2] Height: 13.2" Tops: 8 Notes: I'm surprised at the uniformity of these two sisters, I'm going to veg a bit longer and get me some clones just in case ;) [CBD Blueberry] Height: 9.8" Tops: 8 Notes: I thought this girl was a goner, definitely didn't respond to the mainline well like the others, wonder why? 😶 Still I'm impressed that my smallest plant is filling in, though she looks weird I still love her and her minions <3 [White Widow] Height: 11.2 Tops: 8 Notes: Well... This was one of my smallest girls, she's by far the bushiest and most filled in. For an example look at her root mass, one word, insane! Roots are spreading everywhere, so aggressive and the trunk is huge, perfect for transporting all those nutes. Tanya here recovered from a split too, awesome :) [Mazar] Height: 13.8 Tops: 8 Notes: Taller but just as dense as the white widow, the Mazar has potential! A beautiful, healthy canopy, one of my best girls. It's a good feeling knowing that my hard work is paying off 😭 I'm afraid of topping this one because she is so dense that 16 tops will be off the hook, better make a plan soon 🙏 [Super Silver Haze] Height: 11.2 Tops: 8 Notes: I’m starting to get impatient, I love this strain! Well, most strains developed by Arjan are great <3 I will need to feed soon with diluted nutes, she looks hungry a bit. Other than that she’s a healthy young lady that’s ready to flower :) ~ Final Thoughts ~ Where to start... I’m excited! Getting my clones are my top priority right now, then I'll focus on canopy support. I’ve come a long way from my first grow, even though I failed I learned a lot. Those lessons are keeping me on my toes and I’m learning more everyday. Thank you to those who have been influential to my success, much love! I can honestly say Grow Diaries is the best! Hello. This is the last week for these plants. I don't know if I'll start harvest in the first 2 tents or in here first. Flip a coin I guess.... Turned down the lights to 60% yesterday. Getting ready for harvest the plants are getting a break from the intense lights. The plants are looking a bit more yellow as they pull what they need from the fanleaves as they mature before harvest. I'll show pre harvest pics next week. OK. Be Great... Chuck.

Last week of veg, i think these girls will start to flower the next couple of days! At the moment great results under this TS1000 as always! We gave a very light nutrients this week just to jave some nitrogen as im using a light mix as soil, lets see how it goes the next weeks 😁💪

Week 9...I have 2 other plants growing in the tent with these 2 plants and they aren't autos so I had to switch the lighting schedule over to 12/12 for those plants...I haven't seen any affects of the light change for these 2 plants...They smell great I am hoping they will be ready to go in about 3 weeks!

Hey! Day 35 after flip of Zombie Kush! Growing nicely, strong intense smell ..and we can see the topped one is a little behind on bud production aswell... see u next week!

- WEEK 8 - ----- Day 50 ----- Woo hoo. End is in sight and the plants are still PACKING the pounds on. Big Bertha is 11 inches long, 2 inches wide. The hidden massive Gertha is 8 inches in circumference in the middle in just bud alone and isn't even the largest part of this 8 inch long nug... Fed 1150ppm 13L 6.4pH 5-15+ days left. 2-4 days till I start looking into trichome finish period. Forgot to take a regular full shot and shots of tropicanna glookies. oh well. Later tonight if I remember. I stopped bud candy cause I'm using a lot more molasses and its literally a sugar in itself so why put in bud candy which is just sugars... seems redundant. ----- Day 51 ----- Easy day of watching. Some nice bud shots today. The whole basement smells of weed candy. Back right Tropicanna is pineapple gummy bear, front right is just gummy bear. Wedding Cake is like sweet weed, you get the regular smell of pot but instead of skunky its sweet but that Tropicanna is just alllll candy no weed smell at all. I did the first 60x shot today. 5% cloudy 95% clear on the Tropicanna. Long ways to go. I'll be doing the Wedding Cake later tonight, got side tracked. ----- Day 52 ----- Fed 1200ppm 6.4ph 12 Liters Tropicanna Glookies is going full blown purple. Should be covered in dark purple coloration within the week. Wedding Cake is just fat. Super fat large nugs. Easy day. Forgot to take trichome pics of Wedding Cake will do that later today probably. Well, the largest bud is 1 foot in circumference now... rofl ----- Day 53 ----- Easy day. Fed some water, they're getting thirsty again. I'm going to do a 13L feeding , then next day 5L water. So that's what I did today. I'll be dropping the Kool Bloom Powder & CaliMagic by day 56 and only feed 1/2 strength molasses only. Will pick the buds off as they finish, not gonna do 1 big chop unless it manages to turn out that way. Colors are going wild. Will check Wedding Cake & Tropicanna trichomes before lights out will update pics then. ----- Day 54 ----- 1300ppm 13L 6.4ph fed Here's some pics. Wedding Cake is nowhere near ready by the trichomes. Barely any cloudy, no amber. ----- Day 55 ----- Tropicanna really turning purple now starting to infect the leaves at top of canopy. Can't wait for what Day 63 holds for all these ladies. Not going to check trichomes till probably day 58 Easy day, last fert feed with chemical nutrients tomorrow, after that its just molasses. ----- Day 56 ----- Didnt even bother with ppm/pH. Molasses. roughly 30-50ml in 13-15 Liters. Smoked a tester of the Tropicana Glookies (Sativa) God daaaamn. Shits fire. Extremely strong. Very Cerebral and its not even at its peak yet... I've chosen Tuesday as Harvest day for both Tropicana Glookies plants (they're clones of each other) A single Wedding Cake testing nug is drying right now, I'll judge when it gets harvested based on the high, and if not sufficiently near my level i'll give it 2 days before drying another nug and trying again. I want heavy ass couch-lock. 6 days for Tropicana. Probably 8 for Wedding Cake. Will send samples off to Canvas Labs for testing like I've done in the past and will be making both edibles and bubble hash and will post those here as they happen. Once thats done I will see if I can restart veg mode in this grow, and if so I will keep this going until the plants die (and just make side diaries for each individual plant variety grow). Should be interesting. *** update *** Where'd the 1.5 Liter water bottle go? rofl

I have cut the food from the larger one, just another week or so i reckon. I could pull it now, trichs look good but aiming for a liiitle more amber. Very few clear if any. The small one is about 3 weeks behind im thinking, but my god does it stink. Most stinky plant ive had yet i think, despite its size haha.

This week has been one of great gains in both size and vegetation we have seen a vertical leap in two plants that is astronomical almost 4 inches in a week! Had to do some pruning to expose new bud and a little bit of low stress training on to plants to see if we can expose light to the underside and perhaps get a little more love out of our lower buds The stalk size on almost all of these plants is almost as big as your thumb but on one it is actually relatively skinny that is the one we’re doing the low stress training on we just started the low stress training and it is taking very well to it One of these plants is extremely dark in color on the vegetation and has typically about 11 fingers per leaf! Not sure what that means yet

Going steady this week! Gonna go a couple more weeks and then flip to 12/12. Added 2 new clones to the tent as well, 2x Indian Rhino x The Matrix. Curious to see the differences between strains and also differences in growth between seed/clone. I won’t be keeping track of those 2 in this diary though. Thanks for reading, happy growing!

Harvested a week early because of bud rot caused by calcium deficiency. I did a triple wash with hydrogen peroxide, baking soda and plain water to rinse. Note for future Coco needs a lot of calcium and magnesium. With constant drip system you need way less nutrients in solution. Check PH if you use calcium sulfate or silica!!! Once cured the weed has a good nutty smell with a little berry. It’s not very resinous, it has a good mind numbing effect but doesn’t lost more than one hour for 3/4 puffs, this is because of early harvest for sure because my previous crop was lot more potent.

We back with some buckets! Time to fire up the pumps and get this show on the road. If you haven't seen sugar cane then you need to crawl out from under the rock you're hiding in. Soaked this beautiful little gem of a bean in some water until it cracked then threw it into the bucket with 100% perlite. Started them on a low dose of maxigro on day 3. Doing these diy Dutch Bucket style as always. Going to be running 8 in house genetics strains on the system with constant 24 hour a day irrigation. Not much exciting going on yet, but with a little luck that may change pretty soon.

10/5/24 - Purple Punch 👊 & Green Crack 💚 Girls got a top feed of 7.3 pH, and runoffs are strong 6.4. PPMs are a little lower last dunk on the GC, so we are going to bump up her feed a little, and reduce the feed on the Purple Punch.
