Guava Runtz – Week 8 (Fast Buds Outdoor 2026) The weather was okay. Guava Runtz is being fed regularly and gets lots of sun. There are only a few small leaf issues, otherwise she is doing well. She is now around 45 cm tall with lots of leaves and is fully in the flowering stage. A light scent is starting to appear, somewhat reminiscent of sunflowers. Nice growth.

I harvested when go began to see some amber trichomes, the plant grew very well, the maturation of trichomes was quite slow. The buds are nice and full bodied and the scent is very sweet and pleasant, reminiscent of gesolmino and strawberry bubblegum.

What to say in the end, even though things were not ideal, the outcome is better than expected. 🙏 My only regret is that it has not reached its full potential, although the buds are beautiful, dark purple, full of terpenes that stick to your fingers like honey when you touch them. 😋 The outcome is in the end 56 g. which is more than it looked before the harvest. 💪 She dried along with her two roommates Purple Punch for a total of 14 days. My wife, although not a consumer, enjoys trimming which suits me great because I can take photos during that time. After trimming, we put the dry tops in jars where they matured for another 20 days. Sometime in the future I would definitely repeat Watermelon, I know it can do even better. It’s great that it’s summer, it fits perfectly with the Watermelon joint on an afternoon summer evening with a book and the sea. Light defoliation and using LST clips to produce a few more clone sites before flipping these girls into flower. They are both ready, with the hella jelly showing calyxes and the jelly donutz showing sex. The Donutz Triploid has so much stretch and too much internodal spacing to do much more cloning. Hoping to clone one more off her before the flip. Added pics of the triploid!

Shes really doing her thing. I have had so much fun growing this and learning, It's exactly what I hoped for in a first grow, and better yet one of my favorite classic strains. So excited for real buds to fatten up.

Well not really much too update everything is still going well i guess, purple queen is really slow with starting to set flower mode is that normal with this strain? Or I’m i just not patient enough 😅 sticky beast is going really well also going strong into week 5! My best one most be the runtz #1 that is in week 6 the other one is chasing it but like I said already i broke the main root (not all the way) while lsting her. I put some ducktape on her but i think she will take a little longer then the number 1

I struggled with this plant the whole grow cycle. She still came out alright in my opinion. She did foxtail due to heat. For a first photoperiod grow in DWC I did good in my opinion. Learned a lot more, and been applying those techniques now. She grew under a Spider Farmer SE5000 light in a New Level Hydro bucket. I used hygrozyme during grow.
