Hey hey my fellow growers, I hope everyone had an excellent week! It is great to be back here at the beginning of week six, let’s get into it! Last week I had misspoke- I said I was going to train 5 of the 6 plants I have going from fastbuds, this was false…. What I meant is all 6… Yes at the time I had only INTENDED on messing with 5 but the last one, the way it was structured with the self top, it was practically BEGGING me to get in there and play with it- and I ask you this- who would I be to deny that little strawberry pie the simple pleasure of a little training? So train I did… Nothing crazy, but actually for all six plants (despite my best efforts, best being debatable) to not go overboard- I have been going in a doing a little bit of training and taking a leaf off here and there if it’s blocking any potential bud sites. I am trying to be really careful and not do too much at once and upset any of them- but at the same time, after stunting them a bit with the taproot incident (which I will keep referring to until I learn from that mistake) I want to do what I can to maximize yield after tripping up a bit in the beginning. We will see how it goes, but for now, everything seems to be doing well and responding well to the bit of training I have been doing. Right now I am seeing a range of sizes among the bunch- the forbidden runtz are both shorter and squatier coming in at about 5.5 inches in height each and I notice everything is spaced a bit tighter on these so I have had some difficulty spreading them out but not to any problematic extent, just in comparison with the rest- Next we have the strawberry pie- the smaller one coming in at 5.5inches, is the one that I was speaking about that had topped itself. It seems to be doing well and handling the training just fine. However the other one, that one is much bigger and is about 8.5 inches tall. It wasn’t until I busted out the ruler that I saw that this was the second biggest plant of the fast buds. That leaves the largest which of course was the gorilla cookies! The smaller of the two is coming in at 8 inches and the larger one coming in at 9.5! They are both tied down and doing great, showing growth each day after being trained and having select leaves removed. We are getting closer and closer to flower I hope to have a bit more time with them but that is totally in their hands, so we will see what happens- the game plan now for me at this point is to keep doing what I’ve been doing- trying to balance on a delicate line. As far as other news… I am doing dishes the other day- I have my phone propped up with YouTube on and dude grows playing (my preferred way to do dishes) I hear the dude mention a giveaway they are doing that I had submitted an entry for recently so my ears had perked up…👀 I saw they had the contest page pulled up and on display and I thought to myself, wouldn’t it be cool if I got to see my picture right now, sure enough- I hear them start talking about my pictures! I in no way won (at this point, my fingers are crossed though haha) and I realize that this is debatably anticlimactic however, I listen to these guys everyday at work so I was stoked! I still am! There are lots of good giveaways going on right now, all the amazing contests going on on this site, Instagram wherever! Start of Week 5 Over the last couple of days the smell went from a slight hint before entering the space to a pungent smell that just wofts from the plants. I've never grown a full screen before and never noticed how much these smell. It is possible it could be the Granddaddy Purple but my guess from the good bag smell on this strain, that it's the critical smell. I have two sections of plants growing from the same feeding resivour. For the first time ever I've decided to do a mid grow flush. I ran through 1-2gal of water on each 5 gal bucket. I use only perlite as medium so I figured that I wouldn't need much to flush. It all drained back to the main resivour and I disposed of it. I ran a 24hr cycle of straight PHed tallboy filtered tap water (160ppm) and then drained that again (340ppm). I refilled the resivour with fresh nutes and PHed again (1100ppm)

added GH Enhancer 3g/300ml @ PH 6.3 and removed 820ml water from the system

Loving the buds on two of the strains I’ve only had black buds one time before, and it was some of the best, but I’ve ever had super excited for this grow🔥💯

Day 42 Shes massive... if she stretches much in flower... then I'm in for some problems 😂😂 By next week she will probably be done vertically growing. You would never say she had issues to start off with.

22cm vertical growth this week! Definitely entered flowering.

Through week 2 of the stretch and it’s a bloody mess of super crops with about 8”of headroom to the lights.😂. Bit of a disaster definitely suggests a need to lower the table height slightly. My own errogance wins again. I know better than not to top or fim under these conditions, just figured we’d get better control on an extremely short veg. Cycle. Wayyy off there lol. Still another stretch week to go which means they’ll be more cropping to follow with it as well. Is what it is and we’ll have to make due. No issues with the plants whatsoever yet👍. Background This cycle of clones represents all the potential of this F1 line of WalkerBerry OG. Bred by myself over the last couple of years. This genetic shows excellent hybrid vigour, incredibly stable nutrition requirements to date and an eclectic mix of long and short internodal spacing bu specimen. We know we have indica and sativa dominant traits spread evenly across the 6 available clones. Now it’s just a matter of seeing them run out under controlled and pollen free conditions. We’ve labelled each plant and it’s resulting seed accordingly. Once we get to the F2 run, we’ll hopefully be able to isolate down to 2-3 phenos if the bud is any good. From there, who knows. It’d be great to get to a finished, stable generation that would be fem worthy but that could be a very long way off. For now - we’ll focus on this line and see where it goes🤞🤞.

Hey fellow gardeners, Unfortunately, I couldn't complete this diary earlier because was busy with family stuff and work. So finally here we go with the last chapter of this wonderful grow session. Thanks for Barneys for another masterpiece, we had a truly unforgettable journey with this breed. Its a bit difficult to remember after so long time but we try to collect the most important feelings and thoughts.🌞 So i decided to choose this time a hybrid strain to complement our most sativa collection. The seeds germinated in no time and we were able to put them in the first small pot after only 3 days, after another 3 days except one, they emerged from the soil so the fun could begin. The vegetative phase was actually easy and vigorous, but we made a mistake that made it a little longer than planned. Luckily the broken main stem healed really fast so this extra week wasn't so bad. In this phase we had an experience that we never had before, and yes this was the 13 finger leaf which means that the plants seem doing very well.🌱😎 When we entered the flowering period I was afraid they wouldn't stretch enough as other growers reported. Luckily these ladies got lanky and even didn't want to stop the stretching, which was cause for concern because the time for the last defoliation and lollypop session was almost there. At around day 23 of flowering we made the last trainings and we finally could sit back and watch the magic happen. It was really touching and lovely to see how the colors and aromas change from week to week as autumn approaches. Basically, we could distinguish two phenotypes. One with the purple silk on the leaves and a smaller but rock hard bud structure. The smell of this lady was more pine and sweet at the same time. The other 3 ladies were pretty much the same when it comes to smell and bud structure. Sweet and fruity aromas were characteristic here. Apart from the previous ones, both phenotypes were characterized by cinnamon scent throughout the whole flowering period. It can definitely be said that it is the most frosty variety i have ever grown. I am really satisfied with the outcome in every aspects. First the purple pheno went to darkness with our DWC lady and after two days the other 3. Dried them for 7 days at 21 degrees and 60% humidity and for another 5 days at 50% humidity.⚔️ Trimming these variety was a bit challenging threw the closed bud structure but it wort all the time. We ended up with 368 grams of juicy, rock hard dried buds and 48 grams of larf and popcorn. After placed it into glass jars with Boveda 62% humidity pack. Was a very pleasant strain to grow. Repotting them at day 24 to a 1 gallon (3,7l) Root Pouch. Gave them a little bit(2/3ish of the recommended amount) of GHE Tripart(Grow,Flora,Micro) hydrophonic nutrients and plants seemed to like it, growth of the roots was super fast and overall healthy looking plants.

Wow she's still growing nicely!! 27cm more this week! She's looking nice.
