Final day of veg flipping the flower today I’m excited to see how these tests go I have lots of hope for the ones and I may only create s1’s

I guess I first have to extend a big thank you to James and the folks at RQS. The genetics of their “Northern Light” did not disappoint and this was a no fuss grow across all categories. This will be the only time you hear me refer to Northern Lights in the singular. It’s kinda like calling a “pickerel” a “walleye” - you just don’t do that up here😉. She took well to training, showed no signs of lockout or deficiency, and we were at the top limits of botanicare’s recommended feeding schedule the whole time. I’d call this typical NL - the scent wasn’t overly powerful, she grew somewhat squat and while I’m actually very surprised at the final weigh (thought it would be much less), the whole grow was typical of the strain in my experience. Possibly her biggest limiting factor was simply space constraints. The photos pretty obviously demonstrate that she got really crowded out by the neighbouring kush and I wouldn’t be surprised at all if she’d have done a little better with some more room. That said, what isn’t “typical” are the effects. RQS touts this as a cup winner and I can see why. Had the opportunity to sample a little and WHOA! She Hits with a lasting, cerebral and euphoric effect that starts as a light, happy high. Not a crippling or dulling effect at all. Just everything you’d expect from a well rounded strain in general. Perfect. I almost wanna describe it as a classic sativa but I’ve been smoking nothing but a pure indica for so many months now that anything different is gonna feel that way 😂. Thank Christ for some new stash diversity: 1:! Many, many thanks to all those who cared to comment, suggest or converse on this one. It’s been a pleasure hearing from everyone and I did what I could to keep ‘er interesting : 1:. Next up will be a couple autos on RDWC before the summer outdoor season (and a significant indoor upgrade) is upon us. This was a little sad week. Since I dont have a properly dehumidifier, the humidity raised and botrytis appeared... Added a directly wind (24h/7) on my plants and removed all bud with botrytis

Esa familia, otra semana más ya van para un mes de floración y hasta ahora estoy muy orgulloso de estos clones lo bien enraizaros que estaban y lo vigorosos que han crecido. Ahora en la floración están tirando muy bien las flores , ahora añadiremos pk y algo de overdrive pa ir acostumbrandolas , el azúcar ( bud candy) seguirá aportándose un par de semanas más, y hasta aquí es todo la verdad no hice mucho más . Vamos que ahora vendrá lo mejor ver cómo van formándose y engordando, pronto volveré , buenos humos 💨💨💨

Usually I start my diary after they all pop but I’m feeling lucky and especially green this round. After numerous failed attempts at getting auto seeds from various sources and not having them pop no matter what I did. I finally got in touch with THSeeds and told them that the Critical Hog auto they sent me were totally bunk and not one popped. They had Truenorth seedbank send me this bubblegum Within a week of my complaint. I’m hoping these are fresh vigorous seeds and after much touch up learning on seed popping Iv decided to go straight from the water cup to the medium which is Black Gold seedlings mix in the center 6 inches of my coco soil so to give them a easy start with no added nutes. Que pasa familia, vamos a añadir la octava semana de floración de estas Apple Fritter de RoyalQueenSeeds, empezamos con la temperatura que la tenemos entre los 21/25 grados, la humedad está entorno al 50%, el ph está en 6.2 , el foco actualmente lo tengo encendido 12 horas y la potencia es al 100% de lo que da el foco. También añado la gama de nutrientes de Agrobeta, que no falla, sin duda de la mejor alimentación que hay para tus plantas. Las flores estan tricomandi Muy bien y se están formando buenas flores, estas semanas acabarán de madurar. Had a few hiccups. Plants ended up developing a nitrogen toxicity from too much worm casting. I simply did a flush on them with water PH’d to 6.3 and allowed the soil to dry out

We are 14 days since switching the lights to 12/12 and this one didn't waste any time hitting flower. She is stretching fast and starting to stack on budsites already. Gave them the weekly flush and fresh nutrients. I will be cutting out the maxigro and start them on liquid Koolbloom next week.

Week 8 for the OG Kush and blueberry. Week 6 on the feed schedule for the Super Lemon haze. Last week of feed for the OG's and blueberry. The OG's are super thick, sticky and stank so nice! The blueberry is very sticky, smell's nice but the buds are not as big as I expected them to be.

What up Grow Fam. Weekly update on these beauties. They've stopped the stretching part and now started focusing on flower sites. Seeing the flowers swell almost daily is wild to watch. I started to drop the night temps down to low 60's and around 70 with the lights on. All in all Happy Growing

Harvest day - I save my harvest post for the yield results so I have one more to follow. Beautiful grow though and really impressed with the yield and results. I typically only grow indoors, this is my first full outdoor grow with a photo actually. It definitely changed how I view growing seeing the plants react outdoors. Also I’m in newly legal NY state and we would not be here today if it wasn’t for people like Jack Herer fighting for us at the most difficult times to do it. Jack was born in Buffalo, NY so this grow was a grow to pay homage to a man that led the way. This strain has also won the 2nd most cannabis cups behind only Skunk #1 a strain well deserving of the Jack Herer name.
