Semana 3 Del 31 de diciembre al 6 de enero Entramos en semana 3 desde el cambio de ciclo. Realizamos una defoliacion bastamte severa, será la ultima rn principio. Seguimos con la tonica de riegos de siempre. Sigue haciendo mucho frio y las temperaturas son bastante bajas. Minimas de 13°c y en ON rondaremos los 18/19°C Para ser semana 3 veo que todo va un poco lento, pero bueno, veremos como avanza. 5 de enero Los frios no cesan y lo estan notando bastante, creo que no se estan desarrollando al 100% o que tal vez vayan con mas retraso y la fecha de corte sera mas tarde de lo esperado. En estas cepas creo que cometi un error al hacerle el cambio tan rapido o mas bien que debi dejar que se hicieran mas grandes porque al hacer el cambio a 12h se han quedado cirtas para mi gusto. Rondaran los 48/56cm de momento, eso si, las 3 muy equlibradas entre si. Eso si que no sean grandes no quita no vayan bien. Las ramas de los satelites se ven muy fuertes y tienen pinta de que la mayor parte de los frutos partenocarpicos estaran en la porra central. Seguiremos informando de como avanza la cosa.

Terminamos la 2ª semana de floración, pese a estar a 30cm del lec, estiró más de la mitad de la anterior semana, solo hay que ver las primeras fotos que son al comienzo de la 2 a ver el vídeo que es el día que terminó. El único inconveniente es la humedad, no consigo bajar del 60%. Para ello haré una defoliación agresiva para evitar hongos, espero no arruinar el cultivo por culpa de la humedad. So, with these interesting times and what is becoming a fast evolving global catastrophe. I, myself, along with the rest of you ( I hope ) can take some solace in looking after our gardens, to have some peace away from the news, to give our ladies the best care we are able to provide 🌱 If you ever needed any vindication or validation as to why growing your own is best. More than half the world currently in lockdown, and with MJ in short supply, our actions speak for themselves! Anyway, back to this diary. I done a lot of work on the room, invested a lot and tried to make everything as automated as possible. Everything runs on smart plugs, the hydroponic system is DIY and is RDWC which is cooled with a Hailea 150a. 6 plants is what I am going for this time, with a shorter veg length compared to the last grow. I prefer to wait until they show their sex, but if they don’t by week 5, I plan on flipping anyway all being well. I am using 730nm LED’s that come on 15 mins before lights on, turn off during lights on, and then they come back on when lights go out, and stay on for 15 mins. This should enable me to run 13/11 during flower with little risk. I am also going to add a UVB fixture to my custom rig which will only be used during the final 2 weeks of flower. I have 3 Alibaba lights attached to a custom rig, they really are awesome lights. I tested the room out with an Apogee SQ-520 par meter (PAR map in pics). I have dimmed them down, so PAR is around 500 across the whole canopy, this will be increased to 1000 once they’re flipped. I vent from my house, to the room and then outside, this increases the CO2 in the room, which I think helped the yields on the last grow, generally CO2 hovers between 470 and 700 PPM. My ladies look a little sick, but tbh, I struggle starting out in Rockwool, and things usually correct themselves within a couple weeks. With the quarantine I have struggled to pick up a humidifier that is capable of maintaining that room, so it has been all over the place since the start. I have opted to go with Royal Gorilla this cycle, let’s see if it’s as potent as RQS says that it is! Good luck all and take care...

I figured nothing could go wrong with 50% amber / 50% milky trichomes. Harvest day, Medical Mass: Huge buds and no traumas but got bud rot because of too high temps. The best I've ever smoked. Harvest day, Pineapplex Express: Got an early trauma when transplanting but handled it beautifully. Potent smoke. Pretty satisfied for a first grow, and I have a lot of changes for my 2nd grow!

11/29 - Day 57 - Start of week 9. Fed the plants today with cal mag, base nutrient trio (micro, grow, bloom), and MKP. The plants appear to be very happy and healthy. Flowers are developing nicely on Blanche and Pinky, but Bleu is still showing only a few pistils at the bud sites. I'm wondering whether I should adjust the light schedule from 18/6 to 16/8, 14/10, or even 12/12. Will reassess at the end of this week. 12/02 - Day 60 - Fed nutes ppm=700 PH=6.5 w/ recharge and molasses. 12/05 - Day 63 - Fed nutes ppm=825 PH=6.5. Pinky and Blanche are starting to fatten up. Bleu looks as though she's just starting to kick into another gear, but will probably finish at least 2 weeks after the other two. Excited to see the eventual yield considering she will get the entire tent to herself during the final few weeks, is significantly larger than the other two plants, and is drinking/eating more.
