Impressive guys, is outstanding the root growth, this little pot of 1,5L only lasted 3 days, was already root bound and I had to moved them to the final pot, as you can see I left quite a lot of space for the future top dressing. She looks slightly smaller then the wedding cake even if she started bigger and stronger but the early topping slow down her a lot. She’ll recovery I am sure. Enjoy fellow growers. ♥️☮️

Bienvenidos cultivadores de marihuana clandestinos y también a los que tienen la fortuna de no serlo!🖐️👨‍🌾👍 Este es un relato semanal de técnicas, experiencias de cultivo y Bio preparados orgánicos caseros, los cuales llevo experimentando dos años en cultivos de marihuana interior. Esta semana voy a escribir sobre: CARBÓN VEGETAL ACTIVADO CON MICROORGANISMOS DE MONTAÑA. esta es una práctica avanzada pues al menos se necesita tener el inóculo sólido de Microorganismos de Montaña (MMS), aunque al final intentaré dar otras opciones para aquellos que no tengan MMS. Puedes consultar en la semana 3 la manera de hacer Microorganismos de Montaña Sólidos (MMS): https://growdiaries.com/diaries/134104-grow-journal-by-defharo/week/725879 El carbón vegetal es un excelente componente para toda clase se mezclas de sustrato, tiene varias propiedades muy interesantes, ayuda a la estructuración del suelo y la creación de humus, es un regulador térmico en lugares fríos, favorece la expansión de las raíces y su estructura de microporos promueve la retención de humedad y nutrientes, se dice que en 1cm cúbico de carbón puede contener de 8 a 30 millones de Microorganismos. Y es precisamente la propiedad de retención de humedad y nutrientes, de la que se aprovecha esta práctica. El carbón vegetal llamado "activado" que se usa en filtros de agua o aire, tiene mala fama entre los aficionados a las peceras, porque se dice que roba nutrientes, principalmente Nitrógeno, esto tiene una explicación y no es un problema para cultivo en macetas, el carbón seco tiende a absorber humedad y los nutrientes que se encuentra en el sustrato o en los riegos, porque es muy poroso, y de repente, tiene que saturar todos sus microporos, pero esto apenas va a tener incidencia en un cultivo. En mi caso lo que hago es mezclar el carbón con los Microorganismos Sólidos y después lo humedezco con agua y melaza para activar la Microbiología del inóculo, dándole la energía necesaria, de esta manera tengo un carbón inoculado con Microorganismos de Montaña, y una vez en el sustrato, con humedad, estos MM, se propagarán. En este caso el carbón, de momento, no captura nutrientes porque está saturado, pero después de unos riegos, será la casa perfecta donde los Microorganismos y los nutrientes convivirán ofreciendo una fuente extra de nutrientes, para que las raíces se alimenten en periodos de escasez de alimento o humedad. Supongo que quien tenga inóculos bacterianos comerciales, podría usar esta práctica para multiplicarlos. INGREDIENTES BÁSICOS: Agua pura: 500ml Carbón vegetal, para usarlo en macetas conviene que los trozos de carbón no sean grandes. 750 gramos. Melaza: 75g Microorganismos de Montaña Sólidos (MMS): 225g PROCEDIMIENTO: Se mezcla el carbón y los Microorganismos sólidos. Se disuelve la melaza en el agua. Se humedece el carbón lentamente, mezclándolo bien, porque el carbón vegetal puede almacenar mucha humedad y necesita tiempo para saturarse. Se guarda a oscuras durante un mes en un recipiente cerrado. Hasta aquí la fórmula básica, yo hago algunos añadidos, como se puede ver en las fotos. Añado 260g de Leonardita, que es un carbón vegetal con millones de años y en el proceso de convertirse en mineral, aunque todavía no lo es, es además, la mayor fuente de ácidos húmicos y comparte las propiedades del carbón. Añado Microorganismos de Montaña Activados (MMA) de forma líquida para aumentar la inoculación de microbiología, también un lacto fermento de frutas que aporta muchas vitaminas, nutrientes y enzimas... en la última foto se ve el recipiente después de un mes. Siguiendo el principio de saturación previa de los poros del carbón, para mezclas de sustratos, y sin tener acceso a microbiología, se podría, por ejemplo, saturar el carbón con alguna mezcla nitrogenada para el comienzo del cultivo, después el carbón seguirá cumpliendo sus funciones de estructuración de suelos, creación de humus y para retener humedad y nutrientes. A lo ultimo tuve una pequeña plaga de araña roja que pude mantener a raya cortando hojas afectadas, subiendo la humedad y bajando la temperatura... No voy a pesar en húmedo, cuando se sequen nomas... Luego de cosechar las The Ultimate pasare a revegetar ambas, espero que no muera antes jeje... Porque a las otras creo que le quedan mínimo 2 semanas más.

Hi guys So I think they are laying there roots down properly now. The ladys are all stretching nicely. I do have a freak show the dog bitten and its growing really weired so ill keep that as a side project in the room. I expect alot of new growth this week. Happy growing guys 👌💪💚

D21 - Start of week three of veg for the second girl, while it is only the start of week two for the first girl as I had to replant her. I will probably do the first topping on the second girl this week but I'll see in a few days where she's at. I gave both girls around one liter of water @ pH 5.9. A bit on the low side as I used too much pH down but it'll be fine for one watering. D24 - Yesterday I switched my light from the seedlings program to the veg program, and I'm now reading around 500-600 PPFD across the canopy. On the high end for sure, so let's see how the girls handle it. However, the daytime temp in the tent jumped up to around 30 degrees C after I switched the lights. #tinytentproblems I also added some support to #1 as she has a relatively thin stem but large leaves, so the oscillating fan keeps knocking her around. The second girl also initially had a slender stem, so I guess it is their genetics. (#1 is 12 cm tall and 15 cm wide, while #2 is 20 cm tall and 35 cm wide.) I will need to top the second girl this week as she grows a lot each day. I'm considering mainlining her but haven't made up my mind yet. I gave both girls around one liter of water @ pH 6.5. D25 - A couple of days ago, switching the lights to the veg program made the cover crop explode and turn into a jungle. I decided to trim down the red clover to increase the airflow around the girls and reduce water use. I watered the girls only yesterday, but they were already thirsty again, so I think that the clover was drinking quite a bit as well. After cutting back the clover, I gave each girl around 1.2-liters of water @ pH 6.5. D27- Today was the last day in week three of veg for the second girl and the last day in week two for the first girl. I really should have topped the second girl already, so that will need to be done as soon as possible. She is 26 cm tall and 38 cm wide, while the first girl is 13 cm tall and 27 cm wide. Yesterday, I removed the support from the first girl as her stem had gotten more robust, so it was no longer necessary. Today, I started brewing compost tea (worm castings, neem meal, kelp meal, biochar, rock dust, algal limestone, bentonite, and molasses) which I will leave overnight and feed to the girls tomorrow.

This diary is going to be a day by day if I keep up. Unless I am on vacation I will take pictures every day. Sorry for some of the potato quality pics earlier on. After week 2 or so I'm going to only take pics with my camera flash. The first image is about a day after sprouting. No pictures for the pineapple for the first week as I wasn't sure if it was going to grow or perish. It must have had a mild root infection but it has won the battle against it as of now and is doubling in size daily after a week of not doing much. I am using a uv light in the reservoir. My method is using 3-D printer root sprayers to pump water directly to the roots, I also have an air stone in each 5 gallon bucket. I have an overflow on each bucket to drain the water back into the reservoir. I positioned the buckets on top of chairs to let gravity do its thing there. Humidity has been fine lately so I am not using the dehumidifier. Future grows I will get a controller to turn the dehumidifier on if needed. I wanted to clone these but realized it's not good to do with autoflowers so I have ordered regular feminized purple haze and cbd blueberry for my next grow. Stay tuned!

Último día del año y último día de la semana 9 de las bebas. Está semana que entra sería la última de la white quizás llegando a fin de semana corte solo las puntas y dejé una semana más los bajos o en caso que le falte la esperaré una semana más (creo que es lo mejor) viene muy compacta y olorosa, resina no veo tanto como en blue moby que viene con menos producción pero que dejó en segundo y tercer lugar a las otras en producción de resina le quedan 2 semanas veremos cómo sigue evolucionando pero estoy fascinado. Moby dick viene atrasada pero avanzando de a poco espero que no quede estancada y me quedé flaca seguro se atraso por el estrés de que se cortó su punta principal hace un par de semanas pero bueno creo que vale la pena esperar a todas!! Desde lo personal les deseo que empiecen un año mejor al que paso y que les traiga más lindas experiencias con el cultivo y los más bellos cogollos, un avance hacia la legalización en dónde todavía se les prohíbe está hermosa planta, felices fiestas y próspero año nuevo! Top dressed at the start of week 10 of veg in preparation to start flower this week. Defoliated and lollipop the bottom and also switched using recharge at every watering to tribus bloom at 1/2 strength to add microbes. Dropped ph to 6.3. The pics and videos this week is from 3 days after flipping the light schedule.the tent took longer to arrive than expected, I honestly would’ve flipped at the end of week 8 if I had the means, hopefully the flower stretchy isn’t massive, the plant sits at 42 inches and the plant pot is 1 1/2 feet so I am running out of space in the tent quickly.

Finally got the RDWC system complete and the girls are in and under the LEDs. Started with the LED light elevated higher than recommended; didn't want to cause light burn. About mid week I bumped the TDS up to 350 and lowered the light elevation to 18 inches and they responded very well.

Not a lot happened last week, just monitoring, feeding, and keeping everything in check while the girls did their thing. I did switch over to my finishing nutrients and have cut out calmag according to feeding chart I have been following. I think we are gettting pretty close to harvest though! The trichomes are starting to get a little milky. I am going to wait until about 30% amber to harvest though. I am getting super excited to finish this one and start my next run! 9/2 - The girls have been doing great and are starting to pack on the size and frost nicely! Nothing to do to them really except monitor and keep checking and making sure everything is running at an optimal level. The closer it gets I start to get a little nervous for the dry. I am prepared and have a plan, just hopefully I can get my dry set up as dialed in as I was able to get my grow tent. I will try to post more updates this week. Last week I had company from out of town, so it was difficult to get around to it. 9/5- Just continuing to monitor and check the trichomes, once about 25-30% turn amber I will be harvesting! They are starting to get pretty cloudy right now. When I did the res change yesterday, I switched to just root drip and full tilt and have started flushing, hopefully not too early, but im following my feeding chart. Today is week nine 60 days flower. This is super exciting! I have been trying not to stress cause even tho the bottled nutrients give you the feeding schedules your plant reacts to said nutrients one ways or another. I am excitied beacuse I am learning about mychrozia, beneficial bactiera how they coenside with each other and can replace fertilizer etc but thats a whole worm whole haha I have been giving this plant, flawless finish, and bud candy these last few days. How ever now I am giving her just water. Ph irrated always! MUch love lets root her on too the finish! Few More weeks LETS GO GUAVA she is smelling so so so fruity berries melons and sweet lets go

Day 48 of flower just cruising along.

Girls got topped this week. I decided to only top once due to the herming last time. But they are growing well after the transplant last week. I'm happy with the growth and we'll look to flip in about three weeks. That'll put trim time around Christmas which I have off.

Lots of pics not much to report. Flushing and starting to yellowing nicely. Trichomes are in check so I plugged light out and left these two girls in darkness for 36-48h. These yielded clearly most in this round. Nice job Barney's with this one 👌 Can't wait to smoke this one out once cured couple weeks 👊😍
