- The stretch has slowed down a lot this week, big relief! - Not much else has changed. shes still drinking a lot and the buds are starting to take shape. - Thinking I might add another fan because night time humidity is reaching 70% sometimes and i really want to avoid bud rot.

######################################### HARVEST (Day 93 / June 4) ######################################### ----------------------------------------------------------- GROW SUMMARY ----------------------------------------------------------- Grown in 4x4 tent - but I only used 2x2 space because of heater and dehumidification and other plants (Outlier Z). This plant used a dedicated CMH 315 light. The plant was grown in hydroponics using a custom single-site PA hydroponics clone RDWC system with Advanced Nutrients Sensi Coco line, Microbial Mass and Orca for beneficials. I also experimented with Rapid start in the RDWC system, but I didn't see explosive root growth relying on Rapid Start as an additive to the system verse using it when starting in rapid rooters which worked well. All around a pretty easy grow and things went very well. Topped twice for a mainline structure and she really spread out. Sparkling golf ball size nugs down the branches and spaced out nicely. The scent off her was like burned rubber/tires or maybe fresh blacktop. A single water change which was only performed when switching to bloom nutrients around week 7. ----------------------------------------------------------- HARVEST ----------------------------------------------------------- No dark period and no flush. On day 93 she was chopped and hung to dry. ----------------------------------------------------------- DRYING ----------------------------------------------------------- Entire plant hung upside down for 15 days. The temps were dialed in at 60F by using the S6 intake fan pulling air from the AC through intake vent on side of the tent. Humidity was dialed in at 63%/60F for 24hr, 62%/60F for the next 48hr. Then 60%/60F for the third day and onward. AC Infinity T6/S6 exhaust and intake fans were on the setting of '2' during drying until day 7, then I could turn down to a setting of '1' once the plants were not transpiring excess moisture. Trimmed on day 18. Then the jars were left open in the tent for another 12 more days for a full 30 day dry at 60%/60F while rolling the jars frequently. Also ran dehumidifier in the tent but it only ran for 1-2 minutes every hour because the AC was doing most of the dehumidification on the intake. ----------------------------------------------------------- TRIMMING ----------------------------------------------------------- Trimming was an absolute breeze. All swelled nuggets, very little sugar leafs left to trim. ----------------------------------------------------------- CURING ----------------------------------------------------------- Flower product was transferred to 1L mason jars averaging 35g of product per jar. I added a mini hygrometer to each jar and chose not to use a boveda this time. The RH averaged 62-64% when trimmed flowers went in jars. Jars were left open in the tent for a total dry time of 30 days from harvest keeping the tent at 60%/60F. Once closed, the jars were burped once a day for the first seven days, once every other day for the next seven days, rolling jars often. The burp was only for 3-5 second for air exchange until a. 62% was maintained in the jar. ----------------------------------------------------------- YIELD ----------------------------------------------------------- * Weight calculated at 62% humidity after 30-day dry and 14-day cure. ============================== FLOWER PRODUCT ============================== 180.41g (6.44oz) ============================== TRIM PRODUCT ============================== 57g (2.03oz) ** All major fan leaves, stems, and branches removed from trim product. ============================== TOTAL OVERALL YIELD ============================== Total: 238.41g (8.51oz) ============================== SPACE YIELD ============================== 238.41g / 4 sqft (2x2 canopy) = 59.60g per sqft ============================== WATTAGE YIELD ============================== 315 Watts / 4 Square Foot (3x4 canopy) = 78.75 watts per sqft. 238.41g / 315 watts = 0.76 grams per watt ----------------------------------------------------------- PRODUCT TEST ----------------------------------------------------------- Bag appeal is top-notch. Trichome covered, with aromas of that unique 'kush' you can quickly identify based on experience. Best OG Kush I've ever tried, hands down! The flavour is kushy, smoke is smooth and definitely my favorite strain in my tote of cured harvests at the moment. I can't keep my hands off of the jars. Definitely not a daytime strain, even for experienced users, although I'll use it in the afternoon when life is throwing curve balls. The effects rise you up, then sets you right down and will wash away all that anxiety after a long day. Put it this way....if I puff a few hours before bed, I still feel it the next morning when I peel my eyes open. No joke. I'll definitely be growing this one again, maybe even next run because I'll be sad when I run out. ----------------------------------------------------------- REGRETS ----------------------------------------------------------- Not running more of this amazing plant. ----------------------------------------------------------- NEXT RUN ----------------------------------------------------------- This was the first run at my new residence so it will take some time to get it dialed in. I had some calibration issues which are now fixed. I'm going to be shooting for 1gram per watt on the next run. ----------------------------------------------------------- FINAL THOUGHTS ----------------------------------------------------------- DarkOwl is the best autoflower I've grown yet. I'm now eager to give the Bruce Banner #3 they released a run and will surely acquire future releases from DarkOwl. ----------------------------------------------------------- THE END ----------------------------------------------------------- Thanks for checking out my diary! Trotz der Hitze in der vergangenen Woche in der zweiten Hitzewelle mit bis zu 40° C. hat sie weitere 20 cm Höhenwachstum hingelegt. Der Preis dafür war dreimaliges Wässern täglich, sonst wäre es zu einem Trockenschaden gekommen und Anwesenheit um einen Mangel schnell erkennen zu können. In der letzten Woche in Urlaub gewesen zu sein wäre tödlich für die Pflanzen gewesen. Im Inneren mussten ein paar vergilbende Blätter entfernt werden, sonst gab es weiter nichts auffälliges und berichtenswertes. Sie ist eine gesunde kräftige Pflanze mit vielleicht etwas zuviel Laub. Kein Fraß Kein Trockenschaden Kein Windbruch Keine Unterdüngung (evntl. etwas zuviel) Eigentlich langweilig... aber das Ziel ist eine gesunde Outdoor Pflanze mit gutem Ertrag. Hello I hope we are doing good. It's been one heck of a week for me. So turns out we have one female! Yes sir 👏 Feeling good about that! I've kept the other 2 olants outside for the whole week. Keeping em in the shade bout half the day. They have transitioned well. In the moment my 2x2 is in use. But once it's not I'll be utilizing it. Puting one of the Diamond Belle males in the tent to allow him to flower. I'll do what I can to get a pollen harvest for yall!!! I think that'll be super dope! Lotta hard work. But we got this! Loving ebery moment learning a lot a lot over here. I'll keep the lady in the 4x2 for the rest of bloom ✨️ away from the males aiming for the precision quality 👌 as always. Today marks the start of the final week before harvest, and I’ve officially begun flushing the plant. It's really exciting to see how far it has come. The buds have developed beautifully, and the scent is amazing – super fruity and sweet, almost like a mix of berries and tropical fruit. The aroma fills the space every time I check on it. I’m pretty satisfied with how the plant has grown overall. The structure is solid, and the buds are dense and sticky. Everything looks on track for a good yield, and I can’t wait to see the final product after curing. Fingers crossed for a smooth finish!

going fine. that tip bleaching is here to stay :) i’m defoliating and lollipopping everyday. couple of leaves here couple of leaves there a growth tip here a side shoot there.. watered yesterday with 3.5l or something. distilled dehum water. caribe transitioned too fast. it didnt give me any stretch which was strange and cannalope as expected hasnt even started transitioning. i think caribe is gonna be overshadowed by the cannalope. dinachem looks lighter in the photos but its not really that light green in color. dinachem x peyote cookies gave me more stretch than i expected but seed runs are always full of surprises haha they both finished stretching atm so they will start filling up in the coming weeks. destroyers are fine too. yeah tip bleached a bit but leaves are very healthy otherwise. they feel soft and firm which is how they should feel. i’m plucking 10-20 leaves daily and it grows back the next day. they may give me a couple days of stretch but its not gonna grow much more than this. its not gonna double from here i mean and the 2nd destroyer is gonna be about 25% smaller than the 1st because as i mentioned not identical clones when transplanted but i’m still expecting exceptional yields and quality from both. ‘till next week!

Mystery Made 2 already stopped showing male traits. I only plugged 3 or 4 there in total. Melonade Runtz on the other hand still is developing but I have the feeling that it is slowly getting better. All in all they look amazing and are growing very nicely. The trichomes are also developing great!

Day 42-49 (June 11th - June 18th) (Day 43) I need to work on my early veg times. Things are just too slow in the seedling stage. Next round I will use a coco/Destiny blend for the better aeration and lower EC. Even with my indoor plants. I notice plants started in coco root way faster. Not just with weed either. All plants seem to like it better. Coco is far superior to peat imo. (Day 44) I’m pruning off the lower branches on my rooted blackberry clone. It’s cool to see it’s weird reveged structure. Lots of the fan leaves have trichomes on them. (Day 45) Something really weird is happening to Grapefruit #3. The leaves are browning and starting to gnarl. It could be an insect of some sort as it’s the only plant looking like that. (Day 47) It just hailed super badly and the leaves on some of the plants are pretty damaged. In my neighboring town the hail caused multimillions in damage so we got lucky here. I’m going to spray some method 1 pps prevention spray today to help keep pests at bay. I will try to do it in overcast or shade. I’m seeing what looks like thrip damage but there is no way they can survive the cold nights here. Dog shit in my yard is attracting flies which then land on plants spreading god knows what. (Day 48) Autos are still really stunted. I wasn’t able to find out how big they will get so I will just wait and see. I would guess they’re in their flowering stretch because their growth is unusually fast right now. I will probably just end up with 6-10 inch ornamental plants for autos. Definitely should have started them around mid summer in coco then transplanted. Time is of the essence with autos it seems. (Day 49) Photoperiod plants are looking really happy but growth is stunted from the cold and lack of light. I was hoping for bigger plants by now. A lot of growth can happen in 2 weeks so we’ll see. I’m definitely not transplanting on the 21st but the sooner I do it the better. The bbb clones are struggling hard to root but I can see new growth on them starting to push out. My clones are taking a really long time to establish. Every plant here, I don’t care how stunted, must be flipped by July 15th.

End of the last of veg. And still no major change in growth or maturity. They’re just stalled it seems. Side branching is terrible, internodal spacing is massive and they seem primed to stretch another 5’ with limited colas. Flipped to flower as of today because I’m simply not waiting any longer just for more stretch. Is what it is and we’ll see what they do in flower. ***grow notes: minimal change from prior weeks. Still no deficiencies.

Started to dial down the nutrients, can already see a slight colour change in the leaves as they start to turn autumn colours with the reduced nitrogen Did a flush/refresh of the roots using florakleen 0.5ml/Litre and left it in the reservoir for 2 days before dumping and adding fresh nutrients. The roots look bright white afterwards where they were nutrient stained a reddish brown before. I swapped the side light from the left side to the right side to promote some more bud development on that side lower down Happy with how the plants are looking but I had hoped that the buds would be a little fatter by this stage. Clear winner so far is the bruce banner which has by far the biggest and most dense buds, then the gorilla glue next, then the blue dream although her buds are tall and skinny, then the gsc comes next with the critical last, most of the buds on the critical are still very small (it's the shortest plant and furthest away from the light)

Divine jelly has some really interesting leaves they are pointy and small I can already tell this plant is going to show attributes that are not common. I’m excited to see what kinda exotic looking plant it turns into It’s day 41 from seed and all of the plants are really thriving
