Good morning everyone! First off I want to say a special thank you to grow Diaries for Choosing Tutorial "how yo build a scrog" for Second Place! Now for the update I discovered two males in my grow both of them are Blue Hawaiian. I decided to inspect the root development sence they were going to be destroyed anyway. I was really upset on the how they look. Normally I transplant at least 4 times before I reach my final pot. On this grow I experimented by transplanting from a solo cup to my final pot and also another by just placing the seed directly into the soil. You can see from the pictures that the roots did not develop much at all. I will not be using that method again. On another note for those of you that have experience using molasses in your feeding schedule for your plants can you chime in and tell me what you would use and how you would mix? Hello Growmies, Week 14 has blossomed before us, and the unfolding story of the grow is nothing short of inspiring. The buds have ceased their stretch and have entered a stunning phase of swelling, with each day bringing more fullness. A palette of purple is now washing through the colas, hinting at the rich tapestry of flavors that awaits. It's a visual feast, and I can't help but feel this might be one of the most beautiful plants I've had the privilege to cultivate. Continuing with a steady rhythm, she receives 4 liters of nutrient solution every four days, sustaining her needs seamlessly. This grow has been a testament to the fire-and-forget approach, with the plant's robust health and vigorous growth doing all the talking. With both light spectrums blazing at 100%, she's now basking in the full 270 watts of power. Impressively, she's thriving under this intense light, demonstrating her strength and vitality. I've also captured the PAR readings from various heights, showcasing her remarkable light absorption: - The tallest colas stand under an impressive 1,271 and 1,326 μmol/m²/s. - The mid-canopy level measures a healthy 822 μmol/m²/s. - Down at the Scrog level, we're still seeing a substantial 522 μmol/m²/s. These numbers reflect the careful tuning of our light setup, ensuring that every part of the plant is receiving the energy it needs. This grow has been a journey of minimal stress and maximum reward. The ease with which this plant has flourished is a true joy, and sharing each update with you has added to the experience. As we move closer to harvest, the excitement is undeniable. Ladies are very stink and very swell I don't think I will hit my dry weight of 2 pounds but I might be very close I will be harvesting next weekend

Days 35-42 (Day 36) Some minor problems starting to arise here. A few times this week it got up to 90+ degrees which I think may have caused a bit of heat stress in some of the plants. I’m seeing a bit of cupping/crinkles on some of the fan leaves and some of the new growth is looking pretty gnarled and twisted. I hear windburn can cause this too so I’m turning my fans down to low speed. This could also be a problem with humidity so I’m going to turn off my humidifier, dim the lights and raise them. During my last feeding I mulched in some worm castings but it seems like they’re keeping the soil/coco from drying out. Pots are still decently heavy and even the surface is still quite moist but they aren’t showing any major signs of overwatering. I figure it will only be a few weeks before the castings break down so I will just leave it. A few of the plants are starting to show yellowing leaf tips which is probably some kind of micro nutrient lockout from my PH being slightly too high. It could also be from nute burn so I will water in 6.0 until I see some runoff. Although the most likely culprit is potassium excess. I’ve been feeding potassium almost as much as nitrogen so far. I know that can cause the yellowing of leaf tips by locking out trace minerals. It can also cause leaf problems like crinkling. Excess K can even cause water retention! Will water at 6.0 until run off next watering. The lst is coming along nicely. It was a good idea to remove the first two sets of branches (not leaves). Now I have 4-6 perfectly even stems coming from each plant that I plan to top one more time each. (Day 37) Today I’m going to vacuum, clean, wipe down and spray all my equipment in the tent. I’ve been letting the floor get quite dirty and I haven’t had the chance for a thorough clean since last round. I’m kind of surprised I haven’t seen any powdery mildew yet. I guess the prevention spray is working because the room has to be infected from my last crop. (Day 40) I was reading that you can foliar spray whatever you are deficient in for an immediate uptake. I‘m going to try that with my current potassium excess since it locks out trace minerals. I’m going to foliar feed a bit of phytoplankton at 15ml/L and some MagnifiCal + VeloKelp from Remo nutrients both at 5ml/L. The cal mag is not organic but as long as it’s not going into the soil and doesn’t contain chlorine I’m fine with it. I’m also going to be changing the light cycle to 18/6 for the remainder of veg. This will be their first dark cycle so they can properly foliar feed. Edit: humidity shot up to 85% a few hours after foliar spray. I went to top dress everything today and I mixed up the plants while doing so! So the ones I was unsure about I gave 1 extra tablespoon. I won’t top dress again for at least 10 days. Might give a light tea sometime next week. I also tilled the shit out of the top of each pot. It had a hard crusty layer on top that was keeping the medium from drying out properly. I’m not going to water again until everything is bone dry. Then I will water until slight runoff at 6.0 ph with some Dr. Marijane bacteria/root probiotic. I’m starting too see a lot more of these abrasions on some of the bigger fan leaves. It almost looks like thrip damage but I’m 100% sure it’s not a pest above ground. It could be bulb mites, which I found in my worm castings but I can’t check until the roots are more established in their pots. The leaves themselves are cold and feel damp to the touch. I haven’t even seen a fungus gnat since I last fed. I’m hoping it’s related to the K excess and clears up with the troubleshooting. (Day 41) Just ordered a wire cube rack to prop my plants up with and help evaporation/root warmth. Each cube is 11.8”x11.8”x11.8” and it comes with 16 cubes. So it will fit just perfectly in my 4x4. Depending on the size, I might order another one for the flower room where I would need 25 cubes.

Week 11 – Day 79 (Flower Day 51) 🔄 General Update Unfortunately, I ran into a nutrient lockout earlier this week – some of you may have seen it in the comments. 📉 The drain pH just won’t go up anymore, even after multiple flushes with light nutrient solution. I’m now down to 50% of the feeding schedule and reduced light intensity to around 600 PPFD to keep stress levels low. ❄️ White Widow – Day 51 of Flower She’s clearly showing signs of the lockout now ⚠️ Still, the buds continue to swell visibly, which is honestly a nice surprise! It seems like she’ll make it to harvest without major damage. Flushing only from now on – harvest is planned for next week. ⚠️ Drain pH is stuck at 5.6 – completely off, but can’t be fixed anymore at this point.

Awesome week I see new nodes springing from the remaining 3 main nodes it almost looks like I gave em all a bad haircut 😭. I can’t wait to see the rapid new growth now that there’s so much more sun getting in em!! These strains have proven to be very resilient against the recent drop in temps to below 59 degrees over nite. Despite the cooler nights the day air temps have been around the low to upper 70’s with a crisp dry west wind this week which is not only perfect for early September but for drying out from the last 2 storms Henri & Ida.

buds starting to get shape and trichs coming in nice. the blueberry muffin has such a unique berry pastry smell. no dank weed smell at all. the khalifa mintz x (bcc x jealousy) is still pretty gassy, with stronger fruit profiles on both strains now that the buds are starting to get fuller. update in a bother 2-3 weeks lol.

Some brown spots shows on humidity effected leafs so I removed them to control a healthy conditions 💪 💪 💪 Update: Day 30 Ladies definitely goes in flowering stage, every day I can observe a massive size and high changes. It's look like the tent will be full of buds soon. I'm very happy to see a purple colour on my Purple Lemonade. I'm excited because this is my first purple strain 😇 🙏 😇 Day 32 I have to move a girls a little to adjust them for better space use. I love to look on them 😍 Spec. 11/2: I fed them yesterday except for the 3 x SP's, the short OS(c), and the last Blackberry (a). Those 5 plants were each flushed with 8 gallons of warm water and Liquidsoil. 11/5: I watered the ones that will be harvested tomorrow so hey will be turgid for a rough trim. Took photos of the ones slated for execution. They'll be in the dark til tomorrow night. 11/6: Harvested and washed the 3 x SPs, the last Blackberry, and one of the OS's. Hanging to dry - My closet looks so empty now with only 11 plants in there... 11/7: I flushed all 3 of the Lemon Pies, and the purple Wedding Cheesecake with 8 gallons of warm water each, including Liquidsoil. Everybody else got fed for probably the last time.

She seems to be coming along well. Fed her cal mag once this week 2 ml per liter. The other feeding she only received bloom and grow. Top leaves are discolouring but I'm unsure why.
