Apr 09: Things are chuggin along, i think light may have been a factor in the brown spots, seeing similar symptoms on one of the other plants but very very minor in comparison.... I think it was too little calmag, i may have locked them out mid veg by using high concentration of nutes without watering till runoff (i now know, that is a no-go), and light stress. i have had them under 850-1050 ppfd when flipped to flower... one of them is loving the light, one is big and bushy (had to defoliate later than i wanted), and one has good bud structure but pistils seem thin, and growth seems slower (the one with the brown polkadot party on its body) so thinking it may be stunted. either way, im seeing denser buds, and im learning the ropes, thats enough for me :) Apr 12: Last feed day... Trichomes look just about ready, will do 2 runoff waterings 48hrs apart, then 24-36 hr darkness... Will try to post trichome pics.... Super excited to see the improvements from this run vs last run...!

week 3 of the flowering stage of MD XXL 🙌 1 of the 3 is realy not doing good and is yellowing alot, i dont know why this is, i think its heat stress combined with nutrient deficiency but im not 100% sure. I think shes doing better since i went from 3ml/l alga bloom to 4ml/l and adding 1ml/l green sensation to it. Other 2 MD XXLs are doing just fine, 😉 its still very hot where i live, around 30 degrees celcius every day, global warming all the way... i wonder what my harvest amount will be! For the people in the Grow Questions, i dont check PH/TDS simply because my budget couldnt sustain the equipment, ill get it next grow. Also the alga grow/bloom line from plagron states that you dont need to check PH levels because the algae in the nutrients will regulate it apparently, I also choose NOT to defoliate since i read alot of different stuff about it. I think i just let nature do its way and only remove those bad fans blocking my beautiful buds 👹

The buds fattened up to about the size of my fist. Sticky resin coated everything and the tent smelled fantastic.

Week Harvest My journey of Runtz Automatic and her entrance in the Eternity Grow Cup 2025 began on January 7 when she popped her head above the soil. Runtz was an easy carefree plant to grow with no incidents of pests or disease. A few defoliations were all that was necessary to keep her in check. I kept her under a light schedule of 18/6 to maximize her light exposure. After topping her she grew only 24 inches tall. This small plant structure is suitable for growers with limited space. She was harvested on March 20, day 74 from germination. As part of the flushing process, I topped the pot with ice, then watered with ph 6.5-6.7 water for 3 days. Then I put Runtz Auto in the dark for 2 days still in her pot. March 20, she got the chop, Wet weight 314g and is hanging dry in a darkened room. As she dries, candy, sweet, fruity smells escape the room. Temps are 71-72and 43-48% humidity. I am sure she is as tasty as she smells and will not disappoint in effects. My sincere thanks to Patricia @Zamnesia for her support and encouragement throughout this grow. Big thanks and sincere appreciation to Plagron and Zamnesia for hosting this fun and exciting contest. Everyone entering the contest started with the same strain in either a feminized auto or photoperiod seed. Zamnesia generously provided 5 seeds to everyone and Plagron provided the Green Sensation flowering additive. During this contest I enjoyed visiting many contestants’ diaries and seeing beautiful gardens. Many, like me, are limited in space or number of plants they can grow but all are displaying fine specimens. Some Runtz phenotypes are very sativa dominant, with long thin leaf fingers, while others lean more indica. What will be most interesting will be the smoke reports on effects. My theory is that the more sativa leaning in structure, the more active, energetic and euphoric that plant will be and the indica leaning specimens will be more relaxing and uplifting. Everything is working well, the white flyes are extinct for now. Got a bit of spotting here and here that i presume is from the neem but not sure. Runoff is getting out in the same value as the input, and PH is not dropping, but I suspect to have a bit of salt buildup. I have diled a bit back on the base for 2ml/l, leaf color is great. Have to travel soon so I’m putting up a irrigation sistem to help out in this 7days that i will be away...

1/11: Fed today, but had no time for a photo sesh. All good. Systems nominal. 1/15: Was gonna feed today, but had no time... 1/16: Fed today...they were very thirsty... Took a few photos. Zenzations will be the first to finish..they are both senescing and smell great. Prolly another 14 days or so for them. Black Jacks and Gorilla Girls still have 3-4 weeks left to go.

I've been letting her grow. She reached the highest point under the lamp inside the tent which was 110cm, I'm hoping her flowering boots up and she has enough daylight everyday to create energy. I use Bloom as the PK Feeding nutrient. I have to water her EVERYDAY btw it's strange how dry her dirt becomes during the day and over night,. Water and PK And 10-14 daylight. Water at 6.5ph

I'm really digging the Chem OG, squat plants with those trademark thick thick thick indica leaves, clearly it's gonna be a heavy smoke lol Wasnt able to get the juices flowing this week, hopefully next week i'll get the smart protein into feed. Started training some of these, did two more defoliations (total of three light defos so far) ... and then flipped them 4 days ago. the f-ing landlord has been attempting to enter the lab according to my security cameras lol, motherfucker !!!! anyway i have to pack up the lab, hopefully i'll be able to complete the grow cycle , but for sure i'll have to move the grow op ... that's my problem, sure but it also means that i'll have to wait in order to set up my perpetual cycle... and of course i cant really take cuttings if i'm moving the lab... why must people be so curious? really wish there would be at least a bit more tolerance around this hobby just so i can sleep peacefully at night... in the mean time , I lowered my lights to 22cm, i heard from someone (forgot who) that it's a good thing to get the lights closer when you flip so that the plant gets that extra energy for the stretch.
