Week 11 for Amnesia Zkittlez by fastbuds, She's on her couple of last weeks before she gets the chop, fan leaves slowly losing colour. Only feeding plain water from here onwards😎 Last week was another hot hot week but we are coming down to the low 30's again for the rest of the upcoming week so think the plants will be happier.

Didnt do an update last week because i was on vacation, the plants are doing great tho!! Lovely colours and great smell. They are extremely sticky :D Thinking of harvesting next week, toughts? Thanks for reading and happy growing!

Last week was very challenging, two girls got really tall below the white light, while the other two below the blurple spectrum ended up being smaller and bushier, both looking fantastic. Last week I also probably went too far defoliating the shaded smaller girl which stunned it a bit for a day or two but its flowering vigorously again. Although the unexpected stretch which led to uneven light coverage overally the platns are looking solid, smelly and sugary :)

This week has been a mixed bag for my two plants. #1 is really taking off now, showing strong growth and picking up speed!🌱 It’s looking healthy and vigorous, which is great to see. Towards the end of the week, I also noticed the first signs of flowering—exciting! Unfortunately, #2 is still struggling.😩 It has barely grown and remains very small compared to #1. If it doesn’t start making progress soon, I might consider replacing it with another plant. I’ll give it a little more time, but let’s see how things develop in the next week. Fingers crossed!🤞

As you can see here they have gone a much darker green thanks to the amendments starting to get broken down by the microbes. I will be doing some LST and FIM this week to ensure a bushy plant ready for the outdoor by the end of the month.

Not as many photos these past few weeks because this and harvest are the most non-eventful. However, I can add that this variety of cannabis is EXTREMELY robust and vibrant despite light, nutrient and medium constraints! I get why growth is slowing; I've introduced far-red for EOD and BOD 15 minute regiments and I'm slowly decreasing light lengths instead of flipping(I don't want to stress out other plants in room). This is fine with me as not only this plant outgrown its area horizontally, I have roughly 20% vertical space remaining which should work out with flowering stretch. I didn't want to put flowering in this weeks journal despite obvious maturity(pistils are kool-aide red), the transition is slow but the past 3 days have been slow-er than past month. Lots of very lime green new growth which I've associated with a tad bit of light bleaching but actual leaves themselves show no signs of anything, I go back to when this plant was weeks old...it was very lime green then too so Boron, Molybdenum and Magnesium issues are out of the window. Same with iron. This plant is just fine but could use some UVa baths to pull out those phenotypical traits, a couple more days and my custom built board will be added to this room for 6hr increments. Otherwise, all is good. I could transplant but it's not showing it's rootbound. I could also raise my lights, I probably will tonight even though I've grown other plants 1" away with zero burn(around the led edges). I also have been feeding with McCormick(must be an old-school midwest thing) Strawberry Extract and as usual been seeing the plant respond, especially with "oops, too much" moments when using the blackstrap molasses! This micro area has a very humid(despite 45%Rh), dank, floral smell and when doing the rub test; this plant has a very fruity pungency to it. I like using molasses all the way through as when buds are harvested are much more dense, stay humid longer and have much more sugary kief. Rambling. Next week will have the 365nm UV, the results will blow your mind! Until then. Couldn't figure out the extreme lime green new growth despite almost perfect growing conditions all around, concluded light bleaching but never thought N or Iron deficiency. After transplanting, roots were pearl white, no rotting spots and very little soil showing. Good thing I amended heavily with 5-3-3 and 4-15-12 dry amendments and that blood meal I bought weeks back...3 days later the darker green is coming back! Lots of growth and it has a very distinct strawberry candy aromas when watered and when surrounding air is humid. I have also stopped using my 150w ceramic heater, temps hover 76°F to 80°F day and stay constant 66-68° nights. This plant has almost ideal growing conditions and you can see it's now focusing energy to forming sturdy bud sites. 2 more weeks until full blown flower 12/12 cycle but I cannot wait for this heatsink to get here for this UV light I've sourced. Plants seem to have responded well to the flushing between week 14-15. They were flushed for seven days with nothing but neutral water to help with the nute burn. New nutes were added after that. Fan leaves are dying and buds are fattening. Checked trichomes and I’m thinking I will begin flushing this week. I’m hoping for a 10-14 day flush unless I start seeing a lot of amber. I’m feeling torn and may harvest the purple trainwreck plants at two different times. There are a lot of cloudy trichomes but there’s still lots of white pistils being thrown out as well. Didn’t see much amber, some buds have more clear trichomes than others. The clone’s buds appear further along than the mother plant. I may flush only one plant this week and start the flush on the other in another week or so. The widow x plant isn’t ready to flush and is growing strong. I accidentally left my timer on “on” when I left during a weekend during week 3 of flower. The widow x plant started to reveg a bit from the 48 hours of light. I forgot this happened entirely and for a while couldn’t figure out why the buds weren’t fattening... but I’m fairly certain that is why that plant stalled so long. So far no hermies or males! That was several weeks ago. I’m now on week seven of flower so I’m hopeful for a completely seedless grow. I will continue adding photos throughout this week. Harvested the bottom branches off to make room for my next flowering plant. I couldn’t wait any longer, it’s getting too tall and I’ll run out of room. This is the clone that was taken the same time as the flowering PT clone. It has been in a veg tent since being removed from the flowering tent. Buds from lower stems are drying and look good so far... Wet weight- .75 ounces~ 21 grams Dry weight- ~.20 ounces~ 5.5 grams

The bud sites are just covered in tricomes, I had my magnifying glass out to check the colour and most are milky but not as much as I thought by going by the pistol coloring, as they are mostly brown. There is a more of a spicy dank smell to her now and the fan leaves have mostly died or are close to dying. Hopefully I can start the flush process soon but will not do this till I'm happy with the tricome colouring.

These girls are nearly 50cm and the one girl is around 35cm, I'm going too continue veg for 1-2 weeks longer and scrog in the meantime too gold back the 2 taller girl. These girls are plodding into week 7 now so they are ready too flip but will see how my grow question goes before switching too 12/12 👌 They are happy and healthy and doing well under the shogun nutrients! I have defoliate the odd top fan leaf too allow better air circulation. We have very high heat atm but hopefully they uptake more 😉😅 Happy growing 🌱💚

I’ve added VPD to my dashboard and have now dialed in my climate for a perfect VPD. Home assitant dashboard controlling lamp, up/down humidity and cooling. Exhaust is going to be used to scrub the air and back into the tent. After adding C02 I’m now doing a sealed grow to take better control of the environment. I was dealing with high temps I put a evaporative cooler just in case if I need to up the humidity or lower the temps.

***May 13 No reservoir change any more until the end of flower. I'm just filling it up with water as it goes, I'll let the plant flush itself out for anything it needs. Mainly because it's gotten too big and heavy to take out of the tent comfortably. The branches are all leaning over, and the buds are starting to finish up now. I have to take the loop to it to check the trichomes, but I think in another week or a little longer I'll be able to chop her down. Man I'm so excited to see what she brings to smoke!! I've never seen a freakshow with big nugs and not looking like a wiry mess, so I am a little proud of myself for a first hydro hahaha. Still dank as hell when I open the tent. Sorry for all the late updates, things are getting busy!

This week the plants got very bushy and wide. Stopped using Root Juice and Used Recharge microbes for the first time one day out of the week. LST also began this week. I noticed separate issues on two of the plants on their 21st day; the girl on the right showed some yellow color in some of the tips of the new growth at the top of the plant, while the girl in the middle had low hanging leaf tips which look burned / discolored. I think I might be over-watering. I'll confirm all of their soil is completely dry with my a moisture meter before watering next time.

This Cookie had 2 translplants and more than enaught time to veg its the biggest plant I have grown so far leets see what this girl can do!!! Sadly at the end of my last grow my living situation changed rapidly... So I wasnt able to keep up the Diary cause I had to moove but I have a new flat now and things are going their way again! Now that I have a time again new diaries will come! So happy to be back youre Friendly Neighbor
