Ok so I'm going too only feed pH water from here on out too force the plants too use up all that's in the soil , I am hoping I can carry them on now for the next 2 weeks like this before they are ripe , Update at the end of week 9 Well this week saw a lot of change , bud swelling and ripened up really quickly And slowed right down on drinking last time I checked she was 30% amber and 70% cloudy so she has been moved into a dark room until Thursday now too drink what’s left in her pot ready for harvest at the weekend , she smell so good and if you brush against it , So that’s one down 3 too go :)

Day 67. Finally I have decided to harvest a part of the plant first and let the other one mature a few more days. Because i left the other part of the plant maturing I cant use the cabinet to dry her. So I had to make room in my closet. Humidity is 45-55% and I have added a small PC fan to move the air a little ... the last time I dried there it took at least 10 days. I'm happy with the result to be my first minigrow. The development of the plant has gone well despite my screw-ups and has given a lot of buds, I hoped they would have been a little more dense, but it was my fault to subject the plant to an excess of nitrogen. Let's see how the second cut is going, I hope they get more fat :D 1st cut weight wet: 110 gr. Minigrow 2.0 will be much better!

Last week of feed for this lady :) Update end of week nine , Well the bud production this week has been absolutely crazy , She has now slowed right down on her feeding too , so the flush begins , she still needs too cloud up and go amber but she will have enough nutrients in her and the soil too last her until she ripens , she really has been a joy too watch grow and develop , I would not think twice about growing this strain ,

Strong smell starting to come off this fine lady. She slowed down growth before going in to flower but seems to be bouncing back the lemon skunks and tranquil have surpassed this fine indca in height

LST is working wonders. I'm getting a really nice canopy. These are really squat plants which is allowing me to fill the space nicely. This week we've added a fermenting bottle of sugar water and an evening session of classical music. Samantha is still a bit pale but each new node is looking better than the earlier sets of leaves. Nerea is stretching the most which is allowing me to really spread her out using pegs from the garden centre. Ana has fully recovered from being dripped on by salty water (I'm really sorry about that Ana). I've put the inline fan in place and turned the humidifier off. The last week has been the most stable. Humidity has been in a tight range 42-57% and the temp too 22ºC in the day dropping to 18ºC at night each and every day without me fiddling with anything. Let's see how the room copes as we head into warmer weather.

I’ve began flushing to prep for harvest just about 1 more week and I should be ready

I guess I first have to extend a big thank you to James and the folks at RQS. The genetics of their “Northern Light” did not disappoint and this was a no fuss grow across all categories. This will be the only time you hear me refer to Northern Lights in the singular. It’s kinda like calling a “pickerel” a “walleye” - you just don’t do that up here😉. She took well to training, showed no signs of lockout or deficiency, and we were at the top limits of botanicare’s recommended feeding schedule the whole time. I’d call this typical NL - the scent wasn’t overly powerful, she grew somewhat squat and while I’m actually very surprised at the final weigh (thought it would be much less), the whole grow was typical of the strain in my experience. Possibly her biggest limiting factor was simply space constraints. The photos pretty obviously demonstrate that she got really crowded out by the neighbouring kush and I wouldn’t be surprised at all if she’d have done a little better with some more room. That said, what isn’t “typical” are the effects. RQS touts this as a cup winner and I can see why. Had the opportunity to sample a little and WHOA! She Hits with a lasting, cerebral and euphoric effect that starts as a light, happy high. Not a crippling or dulling effect at all. Just everything you’d expect from a well rounded strain in general. Perfect. I almost wanna describe it as a classic sativa but I’ve been smoking nothing but a pure indica for so many months now that anything different is gonna feel that way 😂. Thank Christ for some new stash diversity: 1:! Many, many thanks to all those who cared to comment, suggest or converse on this one. Week 3 : Mr.B's Colorado Cookies They've been growing at a vigorous pace, seemed to like a nice top off of light mix, stem is growing thicker and leaves are getting pushed out of the fourth node. Soil is a bit cold right now, temperature and humidity are a bit cold too but at 0.7-0.9 VPD so far these young seedlings are doing well , i'd say. Fed with aloe and my own cal mag , ph'ed a bit much to 5.5 , but i poured it on anyway, that's the ph of rain water so... going to get a spray tomorrow of kelp and calmag at sunset twice this week, still spraying the soil with amino, quite happy with how my room is set up. all i can say, is for now i'm liking the indica leaves and i'm looking forward to some lst 🚀 against my better judgement i went with a 90° bend and some LST on the leaves to get it real low and expose all the in between parts to the light, the plant is oriented parrallel to the wall. 🚀
