Day 126. She is down. That girl lived 90 days from seed touching soil. Its part of my Control Garden for proving/finding RQS strain issue. For 3 weeks veged bag seed plant who spent 75% of his life not under direct light, sometimes even in shade and under most intense air fan , she is GOLD ! Cure day. She could go two weeks longer, but ... 96 g ;))) again, i can only look and admire. Crazy strain. Update on night shift ;)

Checkout my Instagram @smallbudz to see the Small budget grow setup for indoor use, low watt, low heat, low noise, step by step. 08/11/2019 - Showing early flower development? 09/11/2019 - Gave her 0.500 ml plain water PH 6.5, she's starting to need more water and also due to 30c temps. She's also showing light green around the leafs maybe slight magnesium deficiency. 10/11/2019 - Yellow leafs showing up really fast so I 'flushed' the medium with 1l of 6.4 PH plain water, watered until some run off start to showing, change the watering plan again, now I only water when the pot feels light and dry at the bottom. 13/11/2019 - Pot was really light and dry at the bottom so I gave her 1.5l of water with 0,75ml of Grow, 1,5ml of Bloom and 0.75ml of Max BioBizz PH 6.5 until some runoff started to appear I think was too much again : also added a work-supplement led strip light. 14/11/2019 - Leaves looking pale raise the light to 45cm instead of the recommended by manufacture 25-40cm.

She has some big leaves, but staying pretty short. Going to move it around the grow room to change the light position to hopefully get a taller plant. āœŒļøšŸ’ššŸŒæšŸ’Ø. Just water for now

The weeks go by, the buds get thicker… at least once a week I have to defoliate to let the light pass through. I'm curious to see the final harvest, I can't quantify a possible yield… This will determine how to set up the next cycle. A new tenant has joined our friends

I had a lot of fun growing pound cake it grew super fast and I had no issues. I would definitely grow it again and recommend it. One plant has a sugary lemon smell and the other reminds me of like brown sugar oatmeal if that makes sense lol so two completely different flavors. I ended up with 166 grams dry weight between the two plants so I'm pretty happy.

Fast and SIMPLE patio grow, perfect for an impatient grower. 72 days from seed to harvest. Could have taken some of the branches at 68-70d. Responded well to pinching back growth to encourage branching. Tested yield by leaving one plant natural and pinching back the other. Pinching back produced way more bud and the plant didn’t seem to mind. The smaller plant only produced 8 bud clusters and those were fairly airy, but showed amber hues a little sooner. Maybe she got less light than the bigger plant. They were both LOW on sunlight. The last 3 weeks of the grow were non-stop rain and storms, very little sunlight. So the girls didn’t stack ā€˜em up like I wanted. Gotta have light to make bud!! Vegetative growth the first 8 weeks was phenomenal. It wasn’t until the rains set in that progress slowed to a crawl. They were a few feet apart and both facing the equator with daylight to dark exposure. The sun itself wouldn’t cooperate though. Both plants were fed and watered the same. Soil was the same etc.... Only used commonly available garden center nutes. Wanted to demonstrate that a person could take the leap with their first patio grow without having to invest in a lot of special grow stuff. You can! but you at least need decent sunlight. I didn’t weigh the fresh harvest very accurately. I took whole stems to hang them by, and my good scale isn’t that big. I used a bathroom scale and weighed myself holding an empty box and the box again with the harvested plant difference was about 3 lbs. Once I trimmed off the fan leaves and cut it off the roots and trunk it was under a pound. I won’t trim them super tight because very little of it will be smoked, most will be used to make infusions, but I’ll remove as much stem as possible. Curing and storing in C-vault with 62% Boveda packs.

Day 60 (12/11) and starting the second week since I change the photoperiod, but she's not really flowering yet, she's producing florigen. The fertigation solution is only Bloom and also Foliar spray. Since it's still transition I won't raise the concentration, I'd rather go low on fertilizers. Day 61 she keeps on growing and stretching the actual shoots. She looks very pretty at this moment. I'm satisfied with her sight so far. Day 63 EC of run off is 1114 uS/cm. I'm using foliar fertilization (Foliar from Power Flower fertilizers) every day just after the lights go off. Day 64 (16/11/2019) fertigation includes 1.3 mL/L Cal-Mag, 0.2 g/L Flower Power "Foliar" fertilizer (this time is not foliar application, I added the solid to the solution, I think the only disadvantage with this is that one needs more powder and it's the most expensive of all the flower power fertilizer line) plus 0.3 g/L Flower Power Bloom Fertilizer pH 6.1 EC (inflow solution) is 1.33 mS/cm. Some shoots that are good candidates to bear buds in the future seem very weak so I'm supercropping a little more while there's still time! I want strong stems to carry heavy calixes ;) and I plan to fill the surface yet a little more Day 66 today a big defoliation, I don't like getting rid of that amount of stored energy, those precious carbs, and the associated risks of such a high stress technique, but some things have to be done. šŸ™

Everything went well right through flush the last to show amber trichs were the Banana Crack, on harvest everything was well ready to come down. Everything is hanging to dry I’ll complete the harvest section in about a week. I’ve tested all three. Zour Apples is an Indica beast, super strong and dank. Banana Crack is a Sativa with a kick, it’s good and tastes great, strong bananas and ripe fruits. The Cherry is fantastic, smooth sweet and strong. All drying steadily 5 days down.

Our beauty is now 9 weeks old and is in full bloom, delighting us with her appearance and aroma. Her buds are getting covered in a thick layer of fragrant trichomes, and the air is filled with a pleasant fruity scent—promising a wonderful finish. The climate in the tent remains stable: daytime temperature is 28°C, nighttime drops to 21°C, and humidity is kept at 65%. The light schedule is still 12/12, and we continue using CO2 to support the flowering process. We’re also consistently feeding her with Xpert Nutrients, which provide everything she needs during this critical stage. A huge thank you to Xpert Nutrients for their top-quality fertilizers that drive such vigorous flowering, and to Seeds Mafia for the amazing genetics that gave us this strong and aromatic beauty. We’re eagerly looking forward to the moment she fully ripens and rewards us with a great harvest!

I struggled with this plant the whole grow cycle. She still came out alright in my opinion. She did foxtail due to heat. For a first photoperiod grow in DWC I did good in my opinion. Learned a lot more, and been applying those techniques now. She grew under a Spider Farmer SE5000 light in a New Level Hydro bucket. I used hygrozyme during grow. Hey guys! Thanks for stopping in to check out my babies! This is week 2 of flower (days 8-14). This week things really seemed to take off! šŸ”„ Plants were happy all week long and seemed to grow almost an 1ā€ per day if not more. Buds are developing nicely, no smell yet but nice to see them stackin’. I cut out anything under the trellis that would end up being popcorn buds so the plants could focus on the main colas. Hoping I’ll just have to pull a few leaves here and there from now on. The New Floraflex drip system has been nice! šŸ’Æ It has made watering easier and more automated. Water distribution isn’t perfect but I’m sure they aren’t 100% level either. Plants should stop stretching after this next week and should start putting on some size! Stoked to see what these girls can do in week 3! Day by day break down: Day 8 Cut out some lower growth/ leaves blocking bud sites Day 9 Fed all 6 plants. PH: 6.11, PPM: 1136 Day 10 Plants look great. Let them do their thing. Day 12 Fed al 6 plants. PH: 6.05, PPM: 1264 Day 14 sitting at 29ā€ tall right now. Not so stressed on height being be issue. Thinking they might be around 35-40ā€ tall at the max. Stay tuned for next weeks post to see how much these ladies have thickened up!
