What a beautiful strain Orange Hill Special is, nice and bushy, great internodal spacing, sturdy and healthy. Happier and happier with how this grow is going. The less beautiful parts on top are my doing, my blind as a bat FIM destroyed half the top of the plant. More patience next time... The super soil is still performing great and I´m pushing up the dimmer to get the ladies used to more light, very carefully because leaves are folding every time. Some of you might be happy to find my European recipe/shopping list for super soil. I tried to make it with widely offered products throughout Europe. Feel free to use it and elaborate on it. If one product is not available in your country, please check the brands at the bottom, which might be available in your country, and substitute. The only thing one could add to the recipe (which I did but forgot in the shopping list) is some Epsom salt. Fed them again with my permaculture tea, all seem to flourish and smells are starting to come from the plant, with that same distinct dankiness I had in earlier grows with this tea. See the germination page and other diaries for more info on my Perma tea. Now they were big enough, some might even say too big, to start the real training. I always love to give them a little bend the week before, to get used to the idea. With some sterilized bamboo sticks I pushed the plants down to expose their sexy undersides. Here we are today is the chop. The top is ripe while the popcorn buds at this bottom will be used for extractions... This grow has been a breeze. The training was amazing, and as you can see, the final result is absolutely stunning... Kannabia Seeds thank you so much for these fine genetics. The multitude of color hues it's very very eye pleasing ... i just hope I dry her and cure her in the way that she deserves so that I end up with this top notch product that it is right now... i hope everyone is doing well and so are there ladies... So this week I defoliated a bit more, now you can clearly see that they look better and there's more light going through especially in the middle of each plant. I had a little deficiency of K with one plant of Blue widow but I started to give the right amount of BioFlores after the transition from Veg. phase. The Blue widow ones are apparently going faster than Royal medic, (Royal medic plants are in the front on the sides, only 2 out of 5 plants). Overall I experiencing the variations' genes of each seed and I can clearly see that some plants go well than others and the importance of a "Mother plant" for consistency but unfortunately I cannot afford, right now, another grow room for this scope. 💩Holy Crap💩 That was so much fun , it's full on winter where I am and it kept me busy , and come on there's nothing like growing your own stuff. I had a blast as it's been at least over 10 years since my last indoor grow , and it was fun , I had used all of my old techniques and equipment and it worked out just fine , so I was glad I had a ruff idea of what to expect...... Final thoughts Gonna be honest about that grow , it should me just how far Genetics have come, 10 plus years ago before I stopped growing indoors , all we had was like lowrider auto and greenomatic auto and maybe few others but they were horrible...... but this auto produced quite well as expected it should with the size of my medium and my soil base and very little nutrients, which is what I had hoped for from the start , cause I didn't really know where to start in terms of Genetics as I have been out the game for awhile but I'm super glad with the results and some gratitude needs to be sent to CanukSeeds , they came through as it always starts and ends with elite Genetics👌 ........... I can't wait to start my next grow diary, so keep an eye out , there's gonna be more to come , I'm going to try some really interesting cultivars........ PS. Day 43 and things are progressing well but I still have some time to make up if I'm going to stick to this year's planning and need to get this run done asap, I pulled the girls out and gave them a eco neem shower for preventative measures and I will flip them to flower by days end, hopefully they show no signs of nutrient deficiency I've encountered during flower while using up the old mega crop formula, I'm guessing it's a mag deficiency as Epsom salts seem to keep it in check. Any advice on this would be great. Stay safe and happy growing.

It's been a pretty easy week. Enjoying watching the buds get thicker! Just going to coast to the end at this point....hoping to harvest within the next 2 weeks. Already getting excited for my next grow...thinking Ethos Planet of the Grapes or Ethos Crescendo.

been awhile... gee, idk how long been in jars now.... anyways, was playin around with the microscope yesterday, and made a little video... i called it :Red the Video:) just wanted to share some final thoughts .... this is pure medicinal, with no brain altering component ... this is for ppl (workers, military, emt, children, etc) who need to keep a clear head with full high dose of thc/cbd for medical problems... this has - kill cancerous cells if administered correctly...... ........ this is now my go-to medicinal strain...... 👍😎

První týden vegetace je před námi. Holky rychle vykoukly nad povrch substrátu. Světlo je na 75 %. Ve výšce cca 51cm od vrcholku rostlin. PPFD = 550 5.10.2025 - 2 dny na světě. **Tropicana Cookies klíčí v zemi. Doufejme, že se jejich růst synchronizuje. Šťastný růst.

12/02/22: The colas are heaving with heavy buds and more orange sites are springing up. On the full dose of nutrients now for the last few weeks. I had to use more cable ties today to keep the colas from falling over like in previous weeks. good strong smell. great environment for flower. defoliated again mostly near the bases.

These have been growing kind of slowly but I got the temps up a little this week by adding some extra light and am getting vpd dialed in. These will only be in this tent for a few more days I am just starting to harvest the main tent so once that is done they will be moved to the Gorilla Grow Tent and put under the new Growlightscience LEDs so we can see how the perform full cycle. The autos will have to get moved back into this tent once I flip the main tent but the photos will prob need a few weeks of veg before that happens. Been doing foliars with the Growzyme from greenbuzz as well before lights out every other night which seems to make them happy. I think theyll take off over the next couple weeks.

She's growing well, did some more defoliation and lollipop.. won't do any more topping at this point, keeping the 8 main colas. The other blue monster pheno has 16 colas, experimenting on yield and quality comparison. Happy growing

[Week 1 - Germination] The Fat Banana seed has germinated and looks very healthy. Very small leaves have appeared in the past two days!

In general i am very satisfied considering the biggest problem i had which was the heat during all the growing period. I also had a power cut which stressed the plant very much to the point it stopped growing for a few days ( the most critical days 😡 😤 ) and developed 3 finger leaves. Despite the heat the buds are very frosty, they have a very strong smell like fruits and diesel and the density is decent. The buds dried for 9 days at 22 °C and 60% RH and now are placed at PP tapers with boveda envelops to cure. Smoke report at 2-3 weeks.

Es ist soweit! Am Freitag habe ich die fünf Easy Buds nach knapp 11 1/2 Wochen abgeschnitten und geerntet. Leider musste ich feststellen, dass eine Pflanze ziemlich stark befallen war. Ich vermute eine Milbenart oder möglicherweise Fliegeneier. Unterhalb der Blätter waren etliche dunkelgelbe und dunkelbraune Eier, die man auf den ersten Blick kaum erkennen konnte. Bei genauerem Hinsehen sieht man jedoch, dass sich der Befall auf die ganze Pflanze ausgeweitet hatte. Glücklicherweise blieben die vier anderen Pflanzen verschont. Aus diesem Grund trockne ich die Pflanzen auch getrennt voneinander. Die befallene Pflanze wollte ich nicht direkt wegwerfen, sondern erstmal trocknen lassen. Im Nachhinein werde ich schauen, wie ich mögliche Schadensbegrenzung betreiben kann. Die vier gesunden Pflanzen werden in einem geschlossenen Zelt in einem Trocknungsbeutel getrocknet. Die befallene Pflanze habe ich in dem Folienzelt aufgehängt und mit einer Plane abgedeckt. Nach wenigen Tagen der Trocknung sieht soweit eigentlich alles gut aus. Die Eier scheinen nicht mehr zu schlüpfen, sondern fallen von der Blüte ab oder verschrumpeln zu Kompost. Ich hoffe, dass es dabei bleibt. Der Geruch hat sich nach dem Abschneiden deutlich verändert. Schon nach der kurzen Trocknungszeit kann ich einen intensiveren Geruch feststellen, der sich noch nicht so richtig beschreiben lässt. Die Blüten waren stark mit den sogenannten "Sugar Leaves" verwachsen, weshalb ich sie grob getrimmt habe, um sie zum Trocknen aufzuhängen. Nachdem die Blüten vollständig getrocknet sind, werde ich die Buds noch einmal einzeln trimmen und durch meine Trimm-Maschine von Vevor jagen. Der Ernteprozess hat zu zweit circa eine Stunde gedauert. Die Pflanzen waren zum Zeitpunkt der Ernte noch sehr gesund und kräftig. Die Verwurzelung war trotz des geschlossenen Topfes sehr gut. Die schönste Bud hat definitiv die zentrale Pflanze, Greta, ergeben. Nass hätte ich den Bud auf mindestens 12 g geschätzt. Ein Gesamtgewicht des nassen Pflanzenmaterials habe ich nicht ermittelt. Sobald alles trocken und fertig beschnitten ist, werde ich das Tagebuch um den trockenen Betrag ergänzen. Stand jetzt würde ich schätzen, dass der Ertrag aller Pflanzen bei circa 40-50 g liegt, was mich für meinen ersten Grow ziemlich zufrieden stellt, besonders in Anbetracht dieser wirklich sehr simplen Strain.
