Grow report week 1: The seedlings Hello dear growers and growerettes, it is time for an update on my grow. My plants have successfully passed the germination phase and have become healthy and lively seedlings. They are all between 5 and 10 cm tall and have exactly the same stages of development, as far as their leaves are concerned. The seedlings I have selected seven different strains from Zamnesia and Barneys Farm, which are all supposed to be very tasty and potent. I am curious how they will differ and which ones I will like best. The strains are: Bruce Banner 3 Banana Do-Si-Dos Gorilla Zkittlez Frosty Nightmare Pink Rozay Girl Scout Cookies The seedlings have all shown their first two cotyledons and their first two true leaves. They look healthy and strong and have a nice green color. They all have a similar size and shape, which indicates a good genetics and a uniform lighting. The care I planted the seedlings in the Lightmix from BioBizz, which is ideal for the germination phase. I moistened the seedlings with a spray bottle. I watered the seedlings once with Bio-Heaven, Root-Juice and Acti-Vera from BioBizz, which are supposed to support the soil, the roots and the plants. I used these products in a very low dosage, to not overfeed or burn the seedlings. I mixed them with pH-regulated water, to achieve the optimal pH value for the soil. I grew the seedlings in a closed room without a tent, which I lined with foil. I used two LED lamps from Lumatek, which each have a power of 300 watts. I set the lamps to a height of 50 centimeters above the seedlings, to not irradiate or burn them too much. The outlook I am very satisfied with the result of the first week. My seedlings have grown well and have shown no problems or deficiencies. I am looking forward to the next two weeks, where it will already be time for the first transplanting and the ladies will be able to taste the pre-fertilized soil for the first time. I will fertilize this run only a bit late, even if I will use osmosis water this time. The soil from BioBizz is really great and can carry the first weeks well on its own. I will start fertilizing about two weeks after the transplantation into the final pots. The next weeks I will introduce you to my water filter, which works much better than the current osmosis systems, without waste water, much faster, almost 1 to 1 flow and also much better for the environment. Que pasa familia, vamos con la primera semana de floración de estas Tropicana poison F1 de Sweetseeds. Vamos al lío , las 3 plantas seleccionadas fueron trasplantadas a su maceta definitiva, ya superaron el shock por el trasplante, estas semanas las paremos todas a floración. El ph se controla en 6.2 , la temperatura la tenemos entre 20/22 grados y la humedad ronda el 50%. El ciclo de florscion 12h de luz, el foco está al 100% de potencia. It’s looking lovely for the first week of flower

Week 8 started 5/22/2022 Ending week 7 strong. Last day was 5/21 -- I added some organic dry food *** from the local, PH'd water to 6.2 with some added Cal Mag Pro. Just going on instinct here, added some epsom salt on top and will water that in later. Water in the tray feeder thing (Auto Pot XL in manual mode) is 6.3 ish. Centered into the lights and measured with the LUX meter. As she starts vegging into the lights its gets stronger and stronger, from about 600 to about 1200+ (just a little less than full sun outside in my locale-- I measured). I am not sure exactly what this measurement means, I only use the sun as a reference. I have both lights on full blast. Still deciding if I can handle the heat of adding the 150W HPS, its HOT HOT HOT, but it makes the flowers huge. I am stopping the LST into week 8, nothing but clean water for a while into the veg, don't want to over feed. I am just doing regular maintenance, watching the grow, and I keep using Crop Control as a preventative measure, I don't care if I am wasting it-- not to be weird but it just smells like it will work LOL. Still tweaking air flow. Height at 9" is the table, there are some tips that are at 12".(I re-measured and changed this to more accurate #s) She has to grow to at least two feet up. I need to measure everything and may have to reposition my filter to accommodate the height. We'll see. I am cleaning up the grow area now, nothing left to do except clean and water. Auto Pot guys said my stuff is missing little rubber grommets from the factory, maybe I can fix the damn things and they will have auto water and we will see if that affects grow speed into flower. I am scared I am going to outgrow my tent this time. I wish I had an A/C Infinity 4x4, those look sick. Next day follow up: Measured: I have just enough room to pull this off. I will re-position filters and lights before switch to flower. I will have two charcoal filters and one A/C Infinity fan, with just the single Auto Pot XL, and it will be functioning since I found the parts to fix. I may get some custom aqua-ponics - bubble-ponics thing going in the tray I placed it in, I think with more oxygenated water and a higher level, more cooling and I may actually get more growth/flower -- we'll see, I am always scheming and I have parts! Still thinking it through as pre-flower time approaches soon. week 8 day 3 - minor surgery, f'd up a cola branch by super-cropping the shit out of it. Fixed, but lost time on that cola, added side light on that side to help fill in, just when I should be getting ready for pre-flower! oh well, that is part of the mainline manifold game. Gotta have grafting tape on hand and assess before it gets to be an unsolvable issue. check your plants and pay attention to what they say to you. ***Dry fert. stats: EB Stone vegetable fertilizer blended with humic acid and beneficial soil microbes including mycorrhizae. NPK: 4-5-3 Derived from: Blood Meal, Feather Meal, Bone Meal, Dried Chicken Manure, Bat Guano, Alfalfa Meal, Kelp Meal, and Potassium Sulfate.

Not sure if I did this LST training correctly, we’ll see. I’ve been following the fox farms 12 nutrient chart religiously along with their mackerel and Kelp me and they seem to be enjoying it. I’m noticing more yellowing than I’d prefer so I ordered some cal mag on Amazon which should be arriving soon.

No stretching this week, just buds fattering from now

Late update, ran into some issues with the roots but the end product is still decent. Will make some tweaks next time, the problem was my transplant. I didn’t put the plants down deep enough and the soil was compacted to add. Plants start tipping over and nearly derooted when buds got heavier. Also was using too much nutes, will be switching to coco. Don’t think I used too much, soil just retained a lot of the nutes and water. Hoping coco will solve that issue for me.

AHHHHHHHHH STOP STRETCHING!!!! I had something similar a few runs ago but I thought it was becuase of high temps. I did not find them to be as high this time and still they stretched a very large amount!! All the ladies in the tent, the GG was actually the lady to stretch the least and shes still very tall compared to previous runs. I did my best to trim them right up and light to most of the nodes but this is absolutely not an idea canopy. I had it so nice and under control then it just went wild in there right quick. Ill do my best to get some nice flowers but I would like to know exactly why the whole tent stretch so much?!?!?!?! 😡 aside from that though the lady looks very healthy lol

Pineapple Express smells really good, so it’s a heavy feeder and I found out just in time a few of the lower leaves yellowed and I fixed it in time but some of the pistils are falling off but actually when pistils mature they fall off so it’s normal but more fell off than usual bc it had a deficiency and now they are all coming back and the buds are getting FAT and the trichomes are still crystal clear so I felt fine giving it more nutrients

Esta sería la semana 5 de floración y no la 4 ya que no pudimos subir la semana anterior. Seguimos avanzando una semana más en la que van engordando poco a poco sacando buenos colores y buenos tricomas. Saludos!!
