Hey growmies! what a week for this plant, she responded wonderfully to the lollipopping and defoliation performed last week, in fact she started voraciously eating and i had to keep increasing dose and water every day. She did enter flower now, I have taken off a few more offshoots that wouldn't have yielded much bud and was crowding the canopy with tiny branches. Now was my last chance to take off said shoots, because this girl has started pumping energy into stretching, and now more of that precious energy will go into more dominant branches, that ultimately will yield higher quality flower. Could I technically have higher yield if I left the little branches? possibly. but that weight would come in fluffy bud that choke out airflow and nutrients away from the pretty flowers, which in turn suffer. the plant started stretching and she grew too close to her new lights, as a result all my tops have yellow tips, she should recover nicely however, I have raised the lights back to 45 cm above the canopy. Speaking of canopy, this autoflower is pretty big, atleast in DWC, so if you're growing her, deffo ScrOG her. Hydroguard keeps my roots pretty healthy, even during the heatwave without a chiller! next week i will put in a second trellis, help her while she stretches! hope to see you then

Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. And hello to you who read my diary, I just want to say that I am pleased that you have chosen to check in with me and in my diary. I do this for myself and for a steady flow of my medicine. Everything you read and see in my diary is 100% honest and I will never distort or beautify anything here. I document my crops so that I can learn from my mistakes and also to look back at those different crops. I try to update with pictures every day and with text if something special has happened in the garden. This is my strainhunt for the best medicine and the beginning of my journey with cannabis and the cultivation of it. This is my second feminised cultivation ever. First, I'm just going to say something about my grow room. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps for bloom. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable environment in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. I will grow completely organically in soil and will watercure my buds to get the best possible medicine for me. Rohstoffe also spricht aus unserer Sicht nichts dagegen. Die Trichome werden genau beobachtet, um den perfekten Erntezeitpunkt zu bestimmen. * Zustand der Pflanze: Ernte rückt näher. Die Trichome sind langsam zum großen Teil milchig. * Wichtige Ereignisse: Beginn der Spülung. * Düngung & Messwerte: Es wird nur noch mit reinem Osmosewasser gespült. * Anpassungen: Zur gleichmäßigeren Ausleuchtung wurde eine zweite Lampe installiert jedoch sind dabei an dieser Pflanze einge Köpfe gerollt. Collateralschäden sind bei umbaumaßnahmen leider nicht selten. 🙄

During the check today I saw that despite spraying neem oil 3 times, there are still a few trips :-( . Now I've ordered nematodes again specifically against trips for leaf and substrate. Watering was done twice this week, each time with 1.3 l (nutrients see table above) Next week I will remove the lowermost shoots so that the energy goes into the upper buds. Day 23. This girl should be big, stretching and side shooting lika a champ ! A bit sensitive to magnesium and nitrogen, but all is going better. Next week or maybe a bit earlier i will start training. Girl is on pure dechlorinated phed water diet. 6.3 as always. Thinking to give 1000ml instead of current 600 to them. Girls drink every 3 days. Great light no doubts! Mars TS1000 and daily rotation around axe, plus changing positions every 2 days - helps a lot with even development. Day 26. Small training for her was done, again main stem was twisted for 20-30 sec between fingers and top bent sideways. That helps to strengthen main top and allows other side shoots to catch up for even canopy . Still think wires will be involved with all, too little space, need to optimise it .... Happy Growing !!!

Just potted... Plants are a bit in shock. curled down leaves on some. After Day 1 new growth is praying. Removed Damaged Leaves 😀 9/18/2020 had a problem that looked like Cal-Mag issues & overwatering... Was using the tank labels for water marks to tell how much water was in the tank. Discovered that the marks from the factory are wrong. Measured back in exactly 100 Gallons of water and re-nuted the tank. It didn't solve my issue. So I changed the water flood schedule to see if I was overwatering or underwatering. no response from the plants except it was getting worse. After trying things for two days, I "Phoned a friend"... and they suggested to turn the lights down to 25%. BAM! after 20 min or so, there was a positive response and lifting of the leaves... Moral of the story is to start your clones at a lower light setting and gradually bring them up over time. Pics included...

ScrOGed this girl in the big flowering tent. Lots of stretch and good development this week. Budsites dknt appear too far between each site. Super excited about this monster cropped plant... thinking she’ll be my biggest yielding Purple Trainwreck plant to date. Crossed this girl with an unknown bag seed. He can either be another pt plant with perhaps a different pheno or a white widow plant based on the seeds I had available as a possibility. Pollinated and marked a branch on this girl, unsure of the strain on the male but whatever he is he’s a hybrid. He appeared indica as a seedling and throughout veg but the sativa look dominated him in flower. Dark green and healthy, I’m excited to see what kind of crosses I can make. Pollinated branches are marked with a green plant tie.

So we are coming into the final week(s). Super frosty. The fan leaves are dripping with tricholmes and so are the buds. Smells amazing like citrus.

The buds are rock-hard and sticky. The overwhelming smell has a sweet and fruity aroma. About 25% of the trichomes are amber-colored, so I'll harvest her in a few days. 🍋🍒🍦

the weather in my part of germany is really bad for this summer at the moment. it's raining too much. i've put them in a dry place to prevent mould from forming. maybe they're not getting as much fertiliser. they'll get one more week and then they'll be harvested.
