10/15 This week saw a few snags. Both gorilla zkittlez girls are showing what looks like a Mg def i.e yellowing between veins and green veins themselves. This isn't the first time they've exhibited these symptoms. Currently the heaviest affected leaves are the lowest fan leaves farthest from the light. Aiming to keep it that way. I think it's pH swinging too low. I need to pay more attention to my feeds but sometimes I don't have the time to pH my water as properly as I should. The reason I say it's that and not a deficiency is because they are also showing signs of over feed (yellow leaf tips) only a one half-strength feed did this. There must be plenty of food left in the pot. I'm thinking the flip is gonna come at the end of the week. I'll clean up some lower foliage tomorrow or Sunday and let them grow the rest of the week. 10 weeks seems like a nice round number to me. Day 49 update (Sunday 7/14/19): Almost time to chop! I think my humidity is finally going to be manageable for the drying- the second dehumidifier helped enough it seems. I cut out the base nutes (which for a few days were at quarter strength). I decided to stop with sugaree. No more cal/mag - I guess I should have cut that out weeks ago even in coco? So many different trains of thought. So I’ve now been flushing for a couple days using only water and canna boost and cannazyme along with mammoth p and hydroguard (ppm is at 200). I’m not PH correcting the reservoir tank and it’s up to 6.9/7.0 ph (I actually added a tiny bit of ph down before I decided to not worry about it) - I’m not sure if I like this strategy (seems to be an unsettled debate about ph correcting during final flush) I’ll switch to FloraKleen and water only (and still not ph corrected) for the last few days (in a few days or so - maybe a bit longer) THOUGHTS ANYONE?? I went to bed last night looking at pictures of bud rot and when I woke up I was convinced I had some. I actually chopped my first bud off the plants! one of my possible mold suspects (and one of the largest). Manhandled it - dug around - (I did use gloves and I did sorta try to be careful but...) I probably lost and damaged a bazillion trichomes - but.... it’s fine! No mold/bud rot at all. Beautiful actually. Some of the little fan leaves just turned prematurely yellow awhile ago and some extra areas of red hairs that concerned me but It’s great! Super stinky. Super nice. Dense. Pretty. I’m hanging that one nice big bud in the flower tent above the lights and in the corner away from a direct fan breeze (this is not at all ideal - the main harvest will be done in darkness; with no other humid plants in the tent; with proper air flow; lower temps; and they’ll have had a full flush unlike this nice cola I chopped with its “partial” flush only (see above) . It’ll be nice to experiment with taste before and after a flush since there seems to be so much debate about this. But I suppose my dry will differ too so not a very controlled test. This bud seems to be plenty mature and ripened - some amber trichomes - so I think this one bud chop may turn out to be a nice experiment caused by my neurosis about non existent bud rot) Woot.

Pablo Escobar is growing well. She had the light changed for flowering 4 days ago. She also had a solution change 2 days ago. She was defoliated some today as well. Everything is looking good at the moment. Was a Pleasant experience growing this plant and I would highly recommend for her ease and fast growth for a Indica, Still have more seeds from expert seeds of Banana Ice cream and I am going to grow her next... Ended up with 63 grams from one plant..

July 11: Finally this week getting some heat with 25-30 deg C daytime highs. Plants are thriving with a lot of vertical growth and flowers starting to build. Resin is developing nicely. Purple Punch is going to be big and heavy by the looks of it.

All the girls are flowering, just waiting to start trimming. Trying to stay ahead of PM on two plants so far.

Started flush today been a good few days for putting on weight

Growing Fast Finally. Almost Ready to cut few clones for friends! One friends lend me his growlush 600w Veg Led Light. 2.7umol 247 watt use. Cruising Nicely!💪

This was the final vegetation week. Retied some of the training. Two branches snapped in the process. Mend with tape. Affected branch seems to be recovering. During the week they withered a bit. Added 500ml of water with no effect. Increased the distance from light from ~25cm to ~38cm. Next day they looked more stiffened and rigid.

the canopy is balanced (see vid), a rather intense green colour, no sign of deficiency (I moved my lamps up 10cm to prevent the tips from bleaching further), the stems look strong, and no more flies or spiders in my tent :) onwards to the flowering stage! 12h/12, still under my MarsHydro, 2 lamps, 210w. can't wait to see the pistils emerge!

Ok so this here is my lady she has a great structure and over all height to use .. The whole plant has been growing fast both in width and height out of it. The grow has been organic and and feeding it with @miicrobialmass a biological additive that brings the soil around the roots alive .. we are going to have a monster on out hands..

Bud sites are producing black/purple spot in leaves. Bud growth is producing as the days go by. Really excited with this being my first grow Nitrogen boost really helped with the deficiencies. Plants are starting to look really heathy... Prunes lower colas that weren't stretching past the canopy and receiving energy so more energy can be used towards the top buds

- Week 7 - ----- Day 43 ----- Fed 1150ppm @ 6.4ph 23 Liters. Hard to get above 1200 ppm now. More molasses being used, maximum Koolbloom dry powder as well. Tropicanna Glookies is starting to turn purple. Wedding Cake is fattening up FAST More photos later this afternoon mid light cycle. *Update* Big bulk phase is 100% on right now. Wedding Cake is thicker than a tall can of beer in 4-5 nugs easily. Tropicanna Glookies is sweating out trichomes and getting super sticky while slowly turning purple Great things await for these 2 ladies over the next 20 days. *Update* 2 close up shots of some purpling on the Tropicanna Glookies. ----- Day 44 ----- Here's a video. slow easy day of nothing ----- Day 45 ----- I see a tiny bit of yellowing at edges, nothing serious. I don't have to feed every 2 days now anyways its slowed to 3. I top off the ones near turgor pressure loss levels ( I check my whole hand down side of pot for moisture now) with tap water when needed today. Tomorrow will be feeding ~1000ppm most likely due to using Diamond Nectar chelating nutrients with large amounts of blackstrap molasses when combined and left in the reservoir before use. This seems to drop the detectable ppm even though it retains a high level of nutrient content... with Cal/mag (1-0-0) and KoolBloom Powder which is like a 0-30-40 its wildly powerful. Back right Tropicanna smells like Pineapple Sour Patch Kids without the sour. Its insane. I wish I had smell o' vision for you folks right now. Wedding Cake is like sugary sweet but weed esque... earthy esque type of thing. Not the Tropicanna... Shits fruity like kool-aid. Nugs are getting humongous and its pretty fun to watch it fill in, I had a low level anxiety of it never "Filling" in... but yea it's day 45 and look at Big Bertha... nearly dwarfing my fat ass arm... wild shit. Feel like these ladies have at least another 14~ days on the lower end. Wedding Cake should finish a week after Tropicanna... Trying to grab Wedding Cake "indica" tendencies and max them by going for 40-50% amber, 60-50% cloudy trichomes with under 2% (like literally 1-3 clear per 60X magnifying pic) clear trichomes. Tropicanna only 20% ish amber until clear is only about 20% of trichome and cloudy makes up roughly 60% of total trichome finishing... ----- Day 46 ----- Easy day Fed 1050ppm @ 6.4ph 13 Liters only. I want the root zones to dry out more and quicker, less chance of mold and other root rot issues. Cutting watering/feeding in half now but will be feeding prob twice as much. Buds are fattening FAST and are turning purple. Looks like I got the purple pheno Wedding Cake. Woot. ----- Day 47 ----- Easy day Buds are gettin freaky. Really poppin out now. It's quite awesome to see. **Update** *** HEIGHT CHANGE EXPLAINED! *** Took the Tropicanna's off the pot risers I DIY'd and brought them to the floor. Gives light in between the 2 plants at the side and also helps remove any light burn on the tropicanna, as I have been noticing a very slight tinting of too much light in the central part of the tent. Plants look incredible, tiny bit of tip burn but im not too worried, I'm feeding 1000-1200 ppm at the moment. Speaking of which, fed some tap water, 500ml each, they were dry enough to warrant a turgor pressure loss top up. Feeding tomorrow. The Wedding Cake on the left is throwing out paintbrushes thick of pistils, it's quite insane. Gonna be a hell of a plant around day 63!!! Day 02 - Tuesday - 09/23/25 - Total Days: 163 ----------------------------------- Daily Averages ~[+01:00] - Temps: 86.0°F [30.0°C] - Humidity: 78.4% - VPD: 0.92 kPa - Soil %: [49, 41, 34, 53, 43, 40, 43, 45] ----------------------------------- - [13:03]: Time to start prepping for my first attempt at tissue culture! --- Ordered and received the AC Infinity PH Meter PRO [AC-PHM7] --- Since this is a brand new unit, the probe sensor needs to be cleaned and conditioned for calibration. --- For proper storage and conditioning, the meter includes a bottle of KCL (Potassium Chloride) storage solution. --- For a basic 2-point calibration, the pH meter also includes 7.00 pH [Mid] and 4.00 pH [Low] calibration solution. --- The pen does support a 3-point calibration, but does not include the 10.1 pH [High] calibration solution. For growing, the pH should never get that high anyways. The ideal averages are all below 7.00 pH [Mid to Low Points]. --- The meter also includes solutions for conductivity calibration, but don’t need these for tissue culture. --- Okay let's go! - [13:09]: Took the cap off of the unit and examined the new sensor probe. --- There was a tiny bit of condensation and a micro drops of the KCL storage solution in the cap. --- The glass sensor was clean, but the seal for the cap had a bit of mineral build-up. This is apparently normal for new meters. --- Swirled the probe in distilled water for a bit making sure to fully saturate the sensor and to rinse off the old KCL solution. --- Wiped the mineral deposits off with a clean paper towel. Made sure to be gentle around the glass probe and tried not to touch it much. --- Also cleaned and rinsed the cap with distilled water and dried with a paper towel. - [13:16]: Opened and poured about 3/4 of the KCL solution into the cap. --- Placed and probe cap back on making sure the sensor is fully soaking in the storage solution. --- Done! - [13:19]: The unit should be ready for a first-time calibration after a 30-minute soak, but going to be soaking for a lot longer. --- The probe needs to stay stored in this KCL solution and will top off with more as needed. --- Plan to calibrate the meter right before checking and adjusting the pH for the establishment media. --- Compared to my last pH meter (cheap Amazon pen), this one is a huge upgrade in both accuracy and complexity. --- Will need to do a bit of research on how to calibrate and use this meter properly. - [16:36]: Evening check on the 3x3 veg tent. --- With the recent TKO disaster in the main tent, glad that everything is looking healthy in the veg garden! --- All mothers (including TKO) are looking green and getting bigger! --- Now that the watering system is working again, the Heady OG mother is looking a lot better and she is starting to perk up.
