Hey guy and gals, So, I was going to prune the girls tomorrow, but a mate dropped a half over, got stoned and decide, Bugger It!, so we hooked in today. I did take some after shots. Should have done 'before and after, but, I was STONED !' The girls look happier, more sprightly, less 'HEAVY'. Saved the biggest and best fan leaf for a mate. He is amazed at the leaf size. Then earlier today, when he dropped in ;-) , he had a look and near dropped. Big Bud has so many nodes, he was shocked. The FIMing/Topping, whichever I did has done amazing things. On a side note, I haven't grown heaps before, so this grow is amazing me. Previous grows got small buds, small amount, only just covering the cost of my setup (Hydro at the time and tent). I now have a BIGGER tent, am using SOIL and they are thriving. Personally, I think the water is the major factor, but also my 'dedication'. I check the girls 2-3, maybe 5 times a day (viewing port). Regular PH, moisture and such checks. I even put a sticky fly strip in there, as a bloody fly got in. This grow, besides the constant checking, I have Fim'd/Top'd, I have pruned them to promote growth. Basically, I have learned heaps, both from here and videos. I have re-read pretty much everything I read previously, tweaked a little and it seems to be working. Northern Lights is still a week or a bit more away from a prune, I think, then we will give them a couple more weeks and turn them to flower. I am aiming for a Late May/Mid June harvest, then a month in jars to cure. All going well, I will have a heap of and great choice, for my birthday in July :-D So, feel free to let me know how they look. Shoot through any advice. After adding the nutrients and checking the EC, I ph'd the solution to 6.0 @ 74℉. 11/24- I didn't water her today as her pot still had some weight to it. Her color and stamina remain excellent and she's approaching 6" tall now! 11/26- Today when I checked her pot it was feather light so I went ahead and watered/fed her with 0.25g of well water with a base ppm of 100 that I allowed the excess to drain to waste. Day 23 They are getting very hungry/thirsty they take much water and love the higher nutrient content!!! 🙀 Green gelato buds already smell nice a little hint of citrus and they fatten up good... Sweet ZZ still isnt showing a hint of the stretch I was hoping for ... hopefully she will get enaught light.. Fruit Spirit going fast and better than expected. I know there are some yellow / brownish leafs.... but i wont pick them unless its bad because i gave her heavy defo all the way and just want her to relax and get fat now for the rest of her life =) Day 28 Lowered the light about 10 cm to just 35-30 cm distance and so far they like it =) Also installed a fan under the scrog in the middle of the 4 pots for air circulation under the buds The Sweet ZZ Finally really developes some flowers (yessss was a bit worryed) Green Gelato just is a beast 100% love the genetic so awsome!! no topping just lst and scrog and that girl even goas better than the 2 weeks longer vegged Fruit Spirits. respect to RQS for breeding that girl cant wait to try the auto version got 5 seeds ready to go =P Fruit Spirit starts do get some nice berry like smell and looks like shes gonna finish early. so i guess when they are ready for the chop i will replace them with some autos maybe cookies and blueberry or something will see week 4 finished untill now im very happy with the outcome 😁

Plant is growing fast. Top leaves and stems are growing darker and purple after new lamp and nutrients were added a week ago

I put her into darkness today so this won’t be a full week. She looks beautiful and smells amazing. Description to follow when she comes out of the dark.

Sorry for the last 2 and a half weeks been ill , plants have been well and happy tho. Not long to go switched it up to 600w on the digital ballast now. Explode and pk and boost have been doing job. I have been keeping soil quite moist as this is a important stage to stay nourished and fed. Hopefully the stretch period is over now and we can fully put on some size. Be good and stay safe

Bridal rubbing sugar leafs smells like some sort of candy watermelon, blackberry neat skunky AF sugar leaf rub, pink is nice mellow I will have to check tomorrow. Dr. Thunder very oily with sugar leaf rub I swear you could deepfry with it. It also smells mellow skunky but will check again tomorrow it may have been terps overload on my fingers regarding thunder and pink paradise aromas. Pink caylaxes have shriveled and accepted pollen locations. I just don't think the seeds will be ready when harvesting in a few weeks. Start week 5 tomorrow and I don't think crosses will be ready so I will figure it out. Pink crosses would be fun next round but I have so many more selections to choose from to grow my next 4.Thunder smells like a citrus cleaner, almost pineapple front notes then a full citrus. day35 defoliated like madd. no lie so sticky: 2 fingers lifted a ceramic cup like I was spiderman. 1 finger was a struggle.. science

Just fattening and stacking this week! ❤️ the colours are popping, the tricomes are carpeted, these ladies are just beautiful 😍 I’ve been keeping the airflow high, it’s been hot and humid here, making sure these beauties don’t develop any issues in the last few weeks. No signs of pests, or PM, I did a small defoliation to help increase the airflow, as well as unblock some sites for that last push at growth. Can’t wait for these to be wrapped up, some of the best development I’ve seen with my homegrown yet!
