And then your branding/research helps give me confidence in knowing that I am working with great genetics before I even start my grow. ---------------------------- Germination Start 2/13/24 to 2/18/24 2/19 to 2/25 Veg Days 1 to 7 Week 0 to 1 Germination took 6 days from dropping in water to transplanting into 1 gallon pots. 29hours in a glass of 6.3ph room temp RO water. Something I would only attempt if they were both floating. They were,so leaving them that long they were able to crack open. I then placed both in paper towels wet with the glass water and pasted to the sides of the glass for 3 days (1 day too long in retrospect). I placed in rapid rooter pods and closed with toothpick tips. They popped out from the pods 1 day later but I gave them 2 days before transplant. Video: Incubator water level is key for rapid rooter pods to wick properly during incubation. Transplant to 1 gal pots: I am using a 50/50, 50%perlite/50%soil with a .5lb of dolomite lime and a .5ml of flora micro added to .5 gallon of RO water (Im mixing 2 gallons of soil total so the water to soil ratio is 1/4 of the total medium volume) to achieve a soil tested ph of 6.4. I am using a 50/50 soil/perlite mix because I plan to use these in auto pots. I also used about 1 cup of the same soil mix water to pour around the plant after transplant; you can see how the perlite rises to the top where I did this. I sprayed two domes and covered - I plan to leave covered for the first week. Feed: I kept them under the domes and sprayed every day that I didnt feed them, to keep humidity up while I let them find water in the soil. By the end of the week I took the domes off and took pictures. Feed this week was another 1 cup of 6.3ph water 5 days after transplant. Feed plan next week will increase the amount to 2 cups of plain-no-nute water with about 4 days between feeds. I want to see the water run through so if I need to use more than 2 cups I will. The idea is to water deep and through, but then make them search for more before the next feed, hopefully spreading the roots out while doing it. Veg Plan: I plan on 8 colas for each plant. So that will be 3 topping days and a total of 7 cuts. I will want to cut the first time on day 21 if I have 5+ nodes. I will transfer to 5 gallon auto pots with-in 1 week of the first topping. Once I have 3 nodes of new growth past the first topping, I will top those two branches to the first node again. (that's 3 cuts total by this point) Then, after 3 new nodes of growth after that, I will do a last topping on the 4 branches. (4 new cuts added to make a total of 7 cuts and 8 colas) I will train the branches using LST/HST with tie downs as soon as I can after the first topping day to help maintain the branches growing where I want them to. I will also introduce an adjustable tomato ring after they have settled into the 5 gallon forever pots to provide support and mobility Hopefully all goes well, and I will have 1 to 2 weeks of growth before flip after week 8. I think it sounds more ambitious than it really is, but if you follow this journal, we will see together.

Going into week 9, seeing some frost on the leaves and the aroma is stronger and so nice. She looks great after the heavy defoliation last week, contrary to opinions from a few critics. Sometimes I like to find out for myself, I read many different viewpoints on defoliation and I decided to try. And it worked. Peace friends, happy growing! 🌱👍

I should have gotten a trellis net, lesson for the next grow… fat colas everywhere with no signs of pest or mold. Tricromes haven’t began to show amber as yet.

Just finished week 8 of flower 🤕. Plants are not finishing up when I thought they would. Taking longer than I wanted...😤...seems like a couple may have a week or more left. Back right plant is getting close 3 to 4 more days. Will update when that one is harvested. Trying to stay patient. Hopefully they go into over drive this has been a long Grow... happy growing all!!!

Bloom Starts to really show

I have never seen a plant so vigorous. Two weeks in and I was able to top and LST. I can hear the experts screaming, “too early”. Maybe, we will see. I continue to use RO water and no nutrients. Check out the video. I think I have a pretty unique idea. Comment below with advice, praise, or insult.

Week seemed to be going well i keep having to retrain back down to to 10-9inches couple more stem fractures going to tape up. Its mainly on the DDs not the chocolate. Responding well to training gaining 2-3 on the lateral growth

3/13/2024 - Day 15 Flower: Ran into some issues after the last watering. The newest leaves have some severe curling going on, and I've had a few leaves with some minor brown spotting. I'm not 100% sure what caused it, but narrowed it down to either TeaCo Super Tea, Recharge, or the foliar spray I did with Dr. Zymes Eliminator. I did the foliar at lights out, but maybe there was still some residue when the light came back on. Either way, I'm taking it easy on this watering. Gave them 4 gallons of 6.5 ph water mixed with Jay Plantspeaker Quillaja, Coconut Powder, and a half dose of Rootwise Bio-Catalyst and Yah-Whey. The curling does not seem ro be getting worse, so hopefully they will grow out of this. Also, they have started to slow on rhe stretching, which is good, because they are getting close to the light. 3/14/2023 - Day 16 Flower: So I've been looking at some of the more deformed leaves and I'm pretty sure the leaf curl and brown is from the Dr. Zymes. The leaves with issues appear to have a slight glossy residue to them. I'm guessing when the Dr. Zymes dried on the leaves, it had a reaction when the light came back on. Now that I'm into week 3 of flower, I plan to cut out any foliar sprays, so hopefully I'm right an the issue won't get worse. I had some seeds that I sprouted and forgot to use yesterday, so I made a 2 gallon Sprouted Seed Tea (SST) and added some Jay Plantspeaker Quillaja, Rootwise Bio-Phos, and a half dose of Fermented Comfrey Extract and Fermented Peach Extract. 3/16/2023 - Day 18 Flower: plants are looking good. Flowers are starting to develop and I'm already seeing the beginning of some tricomes. Stretch appears to be just about done, so hopefully it will be smooth sailing from here. The curling from last week has not gotten any worse. 3/17/2023 - Day 19 Flower: watered about 6 gallons of worm tea I brewed for about 24 hours. Added some Jay Plantspeaker Quillaja, BuildASoil BuildABloom, and Rootwise Bio-Catalyst. Also, did some minor defoliation of some of the larger fan leaves blocking lower bud sights. Still need to do more, but I plan to spread it out over a few days. 3/18/2023 - Day 20 Flower: Cleaned them all up real good. Took off all the large fan leaves, except for the top two, and cut off basically anything on the lower half of the plant. May have gone a little higher than I would have liked, now that I'm seeing it done, but too late now. Normally, i only like to take off about 1/3, but i guess we will see what happens when the bottom half is stripped. Always learning around here, haha. Hopefully I should have very little popcorn buds.

Hey now, I hope everyone is having a safe weekend. The ladies are still doing well, and starting to pack on some weight. The Sundae Driver, Bubble Runtz, and Durban Nights still look like they will be the biggest yielders, with the Green Crack 2.0 and Red Hot Cookies being on the lower end in yield, but I am definitely looking forward to having so many strains to sample and to share with friends. The Bubble Runtz looks like it will have the most dense nugs and smells absolutely amazing already and we are still probably 3 weeks out or so. I am thinking 2 weeks to ripen , then another week MAX to flush in the Coco Coir. I am still feeding silica, cal mag, maxi bloom, and liquid kool bloom. I will switch to the dry kool bloom this week week then I will flush with plain water for about 5-7 days before harvesting them around mid December. I am running two full size dehumidifiers outside the tent currently just to keep the relative humidity in the tent right around 50% or slightly below. I also have two very powerful fans blowing one above and one below the canopy to keep the air moving as well as an 8" inline fan keeping fresh and cool air into the 5X5. I am still taking a few fan leaves here and there but mostly just keeping the reservoir full, and cleaning it once per week which only takes 10-15 minutes. I mix one 5 gallon bucket of nutes per day and dump it in the reservoir and then they auto feed 4 times per day. Has a very fruity smell

Zum Pressen waren beide Strains super. Angenehm zum Rauchen und ertragreich. Terps sind hauptsächlich Citrusnoten.

I added a second light yesterday. I’m not sure if it’s overkill and if it’ll work well with the other one. They are both VIVOSUN 300w LEDs, the one I already had has a veg and bloom switch, but the new one doesn’t. But hey it was cheap on Black Friday for $63. But having the new one in there quickly increased the heat in there from 75 to 85. I’m waiting for an oscillating fan to throw in there also which will help. Any advice on the light situation? More light spectrum the better? Update: did my first LsT on all three girls on 12/1. Within 3 hours all the leaves were facing the lights again I was impressed

I had buds every where, a lot of flower and she smells really good. am very excited to taste her, i hope she has a good high with very nice taste

Foram regadas hoje ( 08/07/2021). Os nutrientes foram misturados num garrafao com 5L de água que usei para regar 3 plantas. Usei pouca quantidade porque foi a primeira vez que estão a levar com nutrientes, na próxima rega irei aumentar para um E.C de 0,5. A royal gorilla 2 como ainda está pouco desenvolvida, apenas reguei com 1L com pH 6.3 10/07/2021 - LST Ajudem-me com dicas para fazer o LST da melhor maneira, é a minha primeira vez. really easy to grow. Had some issues in the begging being underfed and low ph issues. But still grew through all the struggles. Wasnt the biggest yield but wasn't the biggest plant. So wasn't expecting truly much. The purple pheno gave me a zip and half about. The other green one gave me a zip dry. Both smell lovely and can't wait. Will come back next week or so to update smoke report. Also fixing to make cannabutter from some of this can not wait ^_^ . Will grow it again but in a bigger pot maybe.
