Growing a little too tall for my room, but I think the stretch is pretty much done now. I super cropped 3 of the largest colas. Probably spoke too soon last week, PH dropped like a stone down to 4.5 a few days back. They had K and Mg lock out for maybe half a day. Stripped most of the lowest 10 leaves of nutrients. This is why defoliation is not the way to go, keep your leaves. They act as storage for nutrients and give you a buffer if PH lets you down 😁 It’s also pretty difficult to get a decent photo of the whole plants anymore 😕

Hello grow 🌎! Finally seeing signs of flowering beginning. (Branches alternating, calxes, pistils, etc.) I cut the girls' dose of gro pro which is full of N, way down amd introduced monster bloom and a small dose of nirvana. Was going to tie down branches but realized that it would make draining their buckets near impossible. So I decided to use bamboo sticks to "position" branches in spots of light and out of tge way of others.

So I thought I was going to harvest last week but I decided not too because there were still a good bit of white pistils and none of the trichomes had turned amber yet so I pushed it another week. Well I still have some white pistils and am thinking gonna let it ride a little bit longer. Just giving it a good flush right now.

Day 43 and for a plant this age they’re looking well. All other Plants looking all healthy too. Now looking into it i should of done some low stress training. Im having abit of temperature problems but its all good. The max it gets is 29 degrees Celsius.

first flowering week

So, first week of flower and she is growing strong. Started day 30 with some LST and some light defoilation. Day 31 i applied a net, first time using one so not the best, but seems to work great at spreading branches out. Only watering when needed and water uptake has took off this week, so keeping a close eye so she doesn't dry out to quick and also im conscious as to not over water.

2/15 NL: I seem to be in the final stretch of things! Lots of white pistils still, but they're starting to curl in. Going to keep her in the tent and recheck this weekend! Harvest window is approaching! Very excited for the extra tent space. 2/19 NL: Not quite ready for harvest. Soon...

This week I cut a lot of foliage off. This way the lights can get to more buds. Weed inspires creativity.

Day 12 of organic grow and all is well. Seemed to have dialed in the conditions and able to keep good air movement, CO2 levels, and consistent temperatures/humidity with the ThruWall Closet Fan (Model TW108 ), and the Holmes Twin Exhaust/Intake Fan (Model HAWF-2041). Humidity is maintained with a Lovoit 6L Ultrasonic Programmable Cool Mist Humidifier (Model# LV600HH). Added a SCROG screen (just a cargo net) and bought the Sample Pack of organic nutrients from Nectar for the Gods (just pay shipping and they will send you the sample nutrients - check out the website). People say their line of nutrients make the buds smell and taste like no other! I have always been an organic Earth Juice nutrient guy, so I am going to experiment with combining the two. Lights are on 24/0 and she has tight internodal spacing with good vertical growth. Room that closet is in is beginning to smell skunky at times, and like diesel at other times. The girls are really starting to fruit up, they have been on 10 scoops of flower food per week and this past week we added one scoop of flower finisher to the mix. Their feeding has been split into two days so as not to flood the plants with nutrients and burn the leaves. This means they still get their 10 scoops but in 5 scoop intervals. Watering has been every 2 days because of the 12/12 light schedule the soil doesn't dry out as quickly. The buds are getting massive on the White Widow plant, they are getting to be too heavy for the branches so I have begun to support the lower branches by tying them up to the main stem. I am using a plant wire so that as the plant moves and grows it isn't constricted. You can see the green supports in the newest pictures I uploaded. I also began thinning out the fan leaves so that all of the plants energy can be focused on the bud growth regions. I began removing the larger fan leaves that were blocking light to the bud regions. You can see how the plants are less bushy now. This should provide some low stress to the plants and boost bud production. Continued to thin out the fan leaves today. Made a lot of progress, now all of the bud sites should be receiving light. We also began a new fertilizer. I added a flower finisher into the mix with the Build A Bloom 2-10-5 flower food. Starting with just a 2 scoops mixed into the other flower food from pride lands. Cut down the pride lands scoops to 3 per serving to balance out with the new 2 scoops of flower food. This will keep me at 1 scoop per gallon of media per plant per week.
