I gave the Blue Cheese a trim on 5th december and gave her four days of darkness, the chop was performed on december 9th I took a lot of photographs and videos commemorating these events for you to enjoy :) I think she came out quite decent especially considering that she had some monster/deformed leaves till the 4th week of veg. also looking back I should have moved her to the bigger place in that time...she would be far more symmetrical ;) It was a joy to work with Mars Hydro and their equipment in this grow. A month in now to flowering and all is still good. Stretch has stopped and the 2nd net is on about 1 foot above the first. I would have liked to have done a bit more defoliation earlier on in flowering but it was a busy few week. Still kept her on the lower side for nutrients and notice the one plant that got locked out earlier in the month was not as pretty as the rest and showing signs of deficiency still on her leaves but the buds are developing normal like the others, bigger even maybe...lol all in all it’s still looking good at this point. Mild defoliation throughout this week. Flush imminent so will leave the remaining fans as nute banks. Next run with these genetics I'll be running a monstercropped clone under this scrog and will go heavier with the defoliation earlier on. I was advised this on here this grow and did a bit but have learned I need more! Forever learning. Looks like it's gonna be an epic harvest. These girls smell absolutely dank. Testament to the quality of these Madame Grow Fertilisers. Harvest just get better every time! Before diving into the details, let’s start with a note on my flowering timeline. While this is Week 4, I don’t start counting flower days the moment I flip to 12/12. Instead, I wait for the plants to show true signs of bloom. It’s a small but significant distinction that keeps things accurate and aligned with the plants’ development. 🌱 Defoliation: Timing is Everything! Defoliation is a critical part of the flowering stage, and I typically wait until Day 21. However, this week, I tackled it earlier on Day 17 because: 1️⃣ The room was simply too full. 2️⃣ And most importantly—the Papaya Zoap had other plans! She’s a fighter—determined, defiant, and constantly reaching for the moon. Despite intense training like super cropping, she’s still pushing upward, nearly outpacing the LED lights. Challenges like this remind us of a simple truth: gardening mirrors life. It’s about resilience, adaptation, and unwavering determination. 💪 This week, I added a second SCROG layer. While this net will support the flowering colas, it’s also there to strategically manage the Papaya Zoap. Why? Because experience has taught me that if she grows out of the LED’s range, she won’t finish properly—and that could disrupt the balance for every other plant in the tent. It’s all about teamwork, even in the garden. 🌟 Defoliation was intense, removing nearly all the leaves with stems to clear space and boost airflow. The tent now looks dramatically different! Vamooos familia, y es que nuestras gorillas girl de sweet seeds son increíbles, tienen un grosor de 7mm en el tallo a mitades, brutal, y eso que las tenemos en 5,5litros. Ph controlado en 6,5 tenemos humedad y temperatura dentro de los parámetros, pronto empezaremos aportar overdrive ya que es una cepa la cual sacaremos el máximo partido a las flores. Me a flipado mucho el crecimiento en si de esta sativa, tienen pocas hojas y son bastante grandes en comparación al resto.

Vamos familia que ya actualizamos la cosecha de estas zkittelz de Mafia seeds. Vaya flores que se han marcado repletas de tricomas, parecen escarcha y las flores se marcan aromas bien dulces. Es una variedad bastante fácil de cultivar pero al tener un periodo de floración algo más largo, hay que estar pendiente de alimentarlas bien, gracias Agrobeta en mi sala es posible. Temperaturas máximas en 24 y mínimas en 20 y una humedad estable en torno al 36%. Las mantuve 10 semanas, ya las vi bien maduras y ya tenía tricomas ambar así que les di matarile. Hey everyone :-) This week a lot has happened 🤗🍀. The 5 that are already in the 12/12 cycle explode day after day 😍😅. All others have been repotted, and will remain in the vegi phase for 1-2 weeks. Otherwise there is not much to say 😃. I wish you all a good start into the week, let it grow and stay healthy 🙏🏻🍀🌱

UPDATE GUYS!!!!! So the girls are doing great I got some new genetics also I'll be doing for my next grows and so forth, but yea just watering as necessary, I really really feel that this process is a learning curve for me lol, mainly because I've learned from the past that everything comes with progress trial and error, so I'm learning which I accept so its okay its okay haha but things are progressing and ill stay up to date with this for you guys thanks!!!!

It has been a pretty good week for the girls. They are well into flower now. Unfortunately I noticed some brown spots starting to show up. I suspect the soil got a bit hot, so even though this is amended soil mix I watered them with a bit of run off at the end of this week to get some of those excess nuts out. They are starting to smell, and it’s quite a floral aroma, something I haven’t tried before. I imagine they will take another 3 weeks before the finish line... maybe even 4. It’s really nice so see how even they look, the same pheno 8 out of 8. Hope you’re enjoying the ride! 🍀

Start of week 4. Week 3 went very well, even though this girl is losing more leaves that the OG kush, they yellow and die quicker, she's still developing nice bud sites and is starting to stank and get sticky.

Loved it!! Relatively easy going!! Couple off moments but not worth getting into but the smell!!! It’s not super strong where you smell it throughout the house when you burp the jars but she has a very (what I could only reference as sour, sweet and lemony, almost like that lemon pledge your mom use to clean the house with) smell but I love it!!!

Finished 5 week of 12/12 and it finally started to show some preflowers 👏👏 girls are very bushy and starting to stretch a lot but they have so many new branches that I have a feeling it’s gonna be monsters:) Looking forward to next few weeks 👍
