second week, around 15 days in the pot

Plants in the grow room are going mad, I'm having to bend them away from the lights. he colloidal silver appears to have made Dazy produce pollen sacks; Dazy is the plant that broke with the light dropping on her. I'll use that feminized pollen to make sure I've seed for the future.

I started picking for forbidden fruits the day after last week’s post, checking the colas with the scope and only picking tops that were approx 10-20% amber. As I snipped colas I also removed a lot of upper fan leaves, this is to allow light to reach lower buds for a final ripening. Once picked, I placed approx 100g in each brown paper bag, folded the top and sat on a rack. I slowly rolled the bags around once or twice a day just so the buds didn’t stick together. Seems to have worked well, no dreaded hay smell to note and nicely dried. I think I’ll be taking some more colas tops off in a few days time and I’ll keep the plants alive for another week or two, depending on how fast they come along. I have 4 Mimosa EVO (no diary) about 7 weeks into veg at the moment and I think it would be nice to give them another 2 weeks as I need big plants to make clones from them, ready for the next diary coming soon... hopefully with successfully taken clones 😊

Week 6 flower, half way there! Buds are starting to fill in now and getting some decent frost. A couple of tops are getting more light than others, and fattening a bit more and looking real nice. It looks like there is some purple starting to come out at the tops. Also spotted some discolouration on a few leaves closest to the light, so I turned the one light down to 60-75%, no need to push it at this point and burn her up! She will go as fast as the soil and environmental conditions will allow her to. Hand watered in Gaia Green Soluble Seaweed Extract 0-0-17, otherwise water drip is running on same schedule. Just using straight tap water that sits in a 30 gallon reservoir with a submergible water pump running 24/7 breaking surface and aerating water. Water comes out the tap @ 7ph and less than 15ppm. Looks like the plant is reaching its final weeks and has been doing great in my garden and is looking fantastic from now on pH water and calmag. looks Like it is within 1% of Amber so still a few days to go normally I will cut out all the fan leaf and a few Sugar Leaf then take down the entire plant and hanging upside down but because the place where I dry is the same tent but this time around I'm probably going to need to create a dry box cut them down into more manageable size because the other girls in my tent well take more than a few weeks I also can see how much of a difference does it make between hang them upside down and drying them like this thank you for reading I will continue to update have a happy grow

Day 1 of week 7–this would make the largest plant 43 days old today. Things are going great as far as I can tell. I used very minimal nutrients during this week. Will add some flowering nutrients on the next feed. Looking to see some density on the buds in the upcoming weeks.

Start of week 14 and the smell is very strong she is showing autumn colours now it’s mesmerising to look at exellemt thc production going to try and push her another week at least fingers crossed it’s worth it … end of week 14 and she is about ready last day today I have her 5 litres of ice cold water to shock her and dimmed the light chopping her tomorrow morning can’t wait the smell is amazing and the buds look mesmerising another good grow thanks amnesia seeds do you have anything else you can recommend for my next run please 🙏

March 28th: She's still standing. I tried to take some trichome shots, but i'm not sure how well they are. It's my first shot at it, so cut me some slack! I gave about two gallons of water this week. I'm not sure if she's still drinking a lot, or if the pot getting dry faster is due to a few degree increase in temperature. All of the water was straight well water, not pH'ed. Which reminds me: pH of water doesn't matter when using living soil. The pH of the Soil is what matters. pH in hydroponics makes sense because the water is where your plants will pick up nourishment. The medium for hydro IS the water, which means your water needs proper pH. In soil, the pH is due to all the calcium, magnesium, micro and macro nutrients and minerals that are in it. That will create a pH in your soil. Now, you can also get a high pH in your soil due to sodium build-up. This isn't what you're looking for, as sodium build-up in soil is a no-no. Now, for the fun fact: If you have a low pH in your soil because you don't have enough calcium, pH'ing your water isn't going to do anything. You gotta fix the soil problem, which will correct the pH of the soil, and trying to use pH'ed water isn't the solution. You'd have to add more calcium to your soil to fix it. Anyway. Light intensity is still at 100%. As you can see, i've got some floppy branches on this cultivar. I gotta admit, i love when branches start floppin' around. It tells me that the plant is close to harvest! Just gotta wait on those trichomes to get a few more amber, then she'll be ready to chop. She's still only showing fade ever so slightly. The purple hue is nice, but i wish it would become a bit more pronounced. Maybe it will over the next few days. She grew really well and strong, I topped both plants, and maybe I shouldn't be. Cause height, I'm just not getting in my autos and me topping them is leading me to believe that they are flowering earlier than they would if I just left them. But I'm still happy with how these grew, instead of 1 main cola I got 10 smaller ones, so I'm happy, they grew strong and quick, gave no trouble but a bit of nutrient burn. Very easy to grow and very resistant some of the most I've grown so far, they bounced back very quickly with the very few issues I did have, she was really easy to turn around and if you found this to be your strain, then you'll get some decent harvests back from a few plants, hoping to see 130-160g from both plants. WOW. 1.5 day on the cure and already I'm getting the bang of ripe bananas. The berries smell has kinda dropped a little. Amazing at how fast this smell took over. Ripe banana + fruity and a deep fuel has taken over my cure press. And the bud is in jars, it still stinks.

They’re getting close! I could probably chop the GSC and GC but the Gelato has at least 2 weeks to go. I was hoping to bring them all down at once and dry in the tent but I may have to figure something else out. I think this is the most aesthetically pleasing garden ive grown so far. I enjoy all manner of plants and in general the GC is the nicest looking mj plant I’ve ever produced. I’d love a porch full just for the look! Anyways, all these girls are a little stunted from all the cold nights. Dark temps under 60, a lot under 50-55 for most of their lives but they look good, and still very frosty. Never had gelato or GC before so im excited to try them out, thanks for dropping by!
