We just flipped the switch to that 12/12, and these girls already know what time it is – they starting to stretch out like they tryna reach for the stars. We runnin’ that Ape Formula from Advanced Nutrients, got the whole squad dialed in on some next-level s***. Feeding them queens like they royalty, nah mean? We keepin' it real precise with that RO water – pure as it gets, no cap. I ain't lettin' no junk minerals mess up the game. We stayin’ locked on that pH balance like a sniper, so the nutes hit right, and them roots keep drinkin’ smooth. So far, no issues – the plants look strong, real healthy. Ain’t no signs of deficiencies, and the leaves stayin’ green like money. The canopy lookin’ good too, spreadin’ out evenly. All them colas just gettin' ready to explode. You already know, we keepin’ everything low stress, tryin’ to maximize that yield without no drama. Temperature’s steady, humidity right where it need to be – we not takin’ no L’s, bro. Hello. It has been four weeks and we are flourishing. We appear healthy and are eating very well, thanks to Xpert Nutrients. The fertilizer is working exceptionally well. The branches are thick and strong, the leaves are vibrant green, and the overall quality of the fertilizer is excellent.

First let's prepare the soil. My mixing is done by eye, I don't use measurements to mix the products. I've been using the same products for a while now, so I'm used to seeing the texture and color of my soil to know when it's good. (sometimes I make it up too and it might not go so well😏🔥)! 8/1 This wad the most fucked up morning ever. Didn't get much time with the girls. I was able to take a few pics when I got back amd a video this morning. Pillars are still around. I killed a couple but I probably should spray BT. I think we got rain last night. Bags are heavy. I defoliated a little bit more on the interior and found some small yellow leaves. Event horizon is still on point to flower first. I NEED to lst and add supports for flower bit I've got a lot of other things going on too. I'm going to TRY to spray BT tonight if weather permits and I should have the supports up this weekend. At least that's what I'm hoping. 8/2 Quickly watered as I had to fix a flat tire to get my wife to the doctor. Gave most a gallon but closer to 3/4 on one event horizon and the sherb pie. Half g for the 10 and I gave the 5 and the 50 a little water. I didn't give the 50 much. That holds water far longer. I'm glad I got it done. It was 90°+ and sunny all day. Earlier everything looked great. I think I'm gonna go check them and maybe add a few pictures. I'm noticing more damage and I don't want them arpund when they can burrow into buds. WENT BACK AT LIKE FIVE. THE 5 GAL WAS DROOPING AND THE 10 WAS DRY AF. OTHERS WERE ALSO LIGHT. The purplematic is foxtailing rly strong :/ but i do not mind that too much, i am much more sad about the actual size of the plants. Got 2 auto hulkberry rdy for next summer. The hulkberry is stacking up in a way more sadisfying way harvested at day 4 of the week

Aug 3: still going strong starting the third week of flowering. I’m putting her in the garage at 9 pm, doing the 730 nm far red light to put plant into dark mode 2 h faster, and then out of garage at 7 am. So 10+ 2 h is 12 h dark and 14 h daylight or a 26 h day. The far red light definitely works as a bloom booster and helps the plants finish faster when the sun is stronger. Did morning foliar spray of Extreme Blend and potassium silicate. Aug 4: always some defoliation to be done and I took out all the small stuff that was growing into the centre. If I had a longer season I could have left some of these small branches but I want the energy directed toward the prime bud sites. Also removing leaves makes it more stable in the wind. Yet another growing trade-off. Aug 5: she looks great coming out of the dark garage this morning. Lots of colas with lots of buds 👍👍 Aug 6: added UV lights from AC Infinity. This far north we run out of strong sunlight before it gets too cold in the fall. By adding UV lights, this will make Edmonton in September seem like California in July. Along with genetics, UV light is the main factor controlling trichome and THC production. Adding UV light for a couple of hours per day centred at peak sun (currently 1:39 pm) should help a lot this far north. At the other end of the light spectrum, I use Forever Green Indoor (FGI) 730 nm far red light. This is the third season using the far red light as a bloom booster and it definitely works. A few seconds at dusk is all it takes to put the plant into dark mode two hours faster, and is like getting a 26 h day. Bud ripen earlier and therefore under stronger sun. Both of these lights are low power LED used for a few hours (UV) or just a few seconds (far red). Gotta love science and technology when it allows us to figure this kind of out.

The plants look a bit damaged and need some care as I was on holiday for a couple of weeks. They have been watered every 2-3 days but have not received any further care, despite this they have grown quite a bit. Durban Poison is the first to start flowering. Frisian Dew wants to continue growing skywards, I think the story of the beans growing up to the sky will soon have to be rewritten. I will then hire a ladder to measure the size of the Frisian Dew. The Shaman and the Frisian Dew are about to start flowering in the second week of August. The Shaman in the garden has had a huge growth spurt. Shaman in pot 147 cm Shaman in garden 180 cm Frisian Dew in pot 230 cm Frisian Dew in garden 190 cm Durban Poison flowering 160 cm
