8/7 Plants were still heavy this morning. Temperatures have been much milder. 70's is much better than 90's. I had to water twice a day for a while. I defoliated ahind found some heat stress ob the gmo canary on the end with some twisted leaves. Some leaves are turning purple on an event horizon and gmo. Night Temps are much cooler plus its probably a pheno thing. I defoliated everything dead yesterday. Found lacewind eggs. Saw an adult green lace wing this morning in the garden along with a couple more lady bugs. There were also some lady bug larvae so I hope the go right to town. It's getting cooler so if I'm going to poorly I need to do it. Sherb pie plant seems to he the pillars favorite. I've killed a few of them. Still need to fix supports and do a little more defoliation. I have a video too but it's too slow to upload now. Only problem I can see is some septoria looking spits on the toasted toffy and one gmo looks like itscrunning through nutrients quicker than others. Dad said he thinks this is my best year. He said they're more full and healthier looking. I looked at my diary last year and I had plants over the top of the cage. The weren't as bushy but I'm not complaining. These are far more indica dominant than last year so that's probably part of it. Leaves on the event horizons are starting to turn purple. I'll update what I do. Hi Guys, Grow Diaries for whatever reason won't allow me to upload my complete harvest video which is a real bummer because I mainly do the videos for my YouTube channel but decided to also include them on grow diaries to give other growers who might be considering growing the same strain in the future. All the girls looking good all have bud forming on their tops this strain has been really with no problems at all. All except one has staid short and bushy the one topped stretched up and fanned out real nice

06/15/2020 Harvesting a good amount of pollen, not sure if you can see but it is cloudy in here. Female will be fed Happy Frog fruit and flower 9-4-3. And that will be all she gets till harvest time (seeds popping out.) Next week male should be spent, putting out clouds of pollen every day very copious amounts! And diary will continue till I harvest her seed. Just topping off reservoir with plain water for the male I have got 1.3 grams of beautiful pollen to selectively pollinate only the finest of female specimens for at least 6 months. Cookie Cake will get dusted with this bad boy. As well as Red Sky #1

Added a photo of the whole tent including both plants from both diaries, next diary will most likely be a 1 tent 1 plant. Buds are swelling slightly and getting even harder, like golf balls. Leafs are bleaching more, next week I'll do a complete refill of the tank and will be going a little easier on the KMPS because it adds to much K. Had some trouble with a minor leak through the top of the tube because it was filled to the rim due to a lot of roots and really long netcups which block the tube, next tome netcups which are not as long and rather wider instead because the current ones are choking the stem which IMO is a good and bad thing, it stresses the plant so it produes more but also chokes it a little and the stem rips at the base but it heals. Drying

Not much to show this week on the timelapse as we had a cold snap and power went out momentarily, and as such, the camera stopped recording, without me realizing this. So I have also added a little video of the rooms progress. Even with the small bit of footage, I can see that my feeding schedule twice a day seems to keep the leaves from drooping at any time in the video, so I will be keeping this going as is, checking the PH every couple of days and topping up the nutes bucket as needed. I am noticing some leaves dying, but they seem to be mostly ones that are not getting enough light and I am removing them as I go. The upper leaves and buds are looking strong so far, and just a touch of smell in the room. The colas are also starting to thicken and my fingers are getting sticky and stinky when working around them. Looking at the plants from a normal distance, they don't look very crystally, but the close up shots really are making them shine. After taking the pics, I like to zoom in on them and see all the crystals.

Since this diary started in the middle of Week 4 of flower, many of the details about how we got to that point have remained a mystery. In previous updates I mentioned how my last attempt at growing this cut resulted in a plant that outgrew my space. I had a long veg time and used a 5 gallon pot. That information allowed me to exercise caution on this grow because I knew how big this plant can get when given an opportunity. With that in mind, I only gave her 9 days after transplant from the aerocloner before moving her to the flower tent. My pervious experience dictated that this plant exhibits significant lateral branching. I top most of my plants to encourage this kind of growth, but due to the short veg time and for the sake of experimentation, I decided to not top her this time. You can see that this has resulted in a large main stem cola, but also (thanks to knowing her growth pattern) several rather large secondary colas as well. As an aside, some may look at this and wonder "yeah, but what about the yield?" I have never weighed a harvest. I grow for myself only, therefore yield is not something I concern myself with. I just don't care. I fill one quart mason jar and the rest is given away or turned into hash. My scheduling is such that I harvest approximately one plant a month; therefore I have enough smoke to last a VERY long time. While this plant will probably go 12+ weeks, with only 9 days of veg, it’s still comparable to a 10 week variety that would require a longer veg time to produce a similar yield. And, frankly, I have close to a dozen cultivars in my ‘consumable’ collection and this is the only one I reach for prior to 9 pm. She has a very clear and motivational high. Not overpowering, but I never test her ceiling, so she could get one blasted if necessary. This would also be a great plant for someone having trouble eating, because my appetite is essentially limitless when I’m smoking this. Perhaps it’s no coincidence that I have put on a few lbs since I’ve had her in my collection?
