Greetings my dear Jungletamers, So a major surprise came when @MarsHydroLED contacted us and asked if would like to try out their new SP 3000 light. Being a fan of Mars Hydro for years, we of course accepted their offer. We are totally in love with this light. I was when I saw it in another grower's setup and was in awe of its output and results. So with much pride and thankfulness for the presents the Universe bestowed on us, in the form of MarsHydroLEDS offer and the bountiful harvest of the last grow, (which I am thoroughly enjoying btw, such a great weed to have grown ourselves) we start out on a new adventure that we can't wait to share with you. With many lessons learned from the previous grow, a mighty producing strain in the form of Expert Seeds Gorilla Glue #4, a.k.a Expert Gorilla's and a tweaked super soil mixture, we are setting out to hopefully get over a gram per watt, preferably 1.5. The Setup A 4.5 (140 cm) x 2(70) x 6.2 (200) grow tent, giving me a .98 m2 workspace. This space is customized to my needs. A standing fan will provide airflow through the whole grow, a top fan will help guide cooler air past my lights onto the grow. 3 56 ltr pots will be the home for the plants when they are 2 weeks old, up to then in smaller jars. The Light The leading role and star of the show will be played by the Mars Hydro SP-3000, so kindly provided by MarsHydroLED, which we will test and review here and I might say, endorse. I'm very careful with who I endorse and support these days, but a company with that many wins in design, I'm talking ever since their first range came out in 2009 these guys have been raising the bar for the whole industry, I did not hesitate to support this leading brand. If you want to compete with these guys, you better bring some quality AND affordable pricing. Why do I endorse the SP-3000 without ANY hesitation? It is seriously THE BEST light on the market in this price range and size group. It has an enormously effective output in U/Mol and with 30% less energy waste comparing to older LED lights. Prove me wrong! And with a company holding a considerable market share selling thousands of units every month, competing on price and quality, one would think that customer service would suffer. Of course, also Mars Hydro is not perfect, but check the sheer amount of people that not only praise the light but also the service received, should the light somehow not perform up to par. Because of the great results, we are going to use the same recipe, adjusted some more with some new ingredients that will complete the mix and give an even more sustained super soil buffer. 20% Atami Bi-grow (very similar to ocean forest) 20% Atami worm castings 20% Atami Coco Coir 10% Hydrocorn 10% Peat powder 1 cup Fossil seaweed chalk 1 cup bonemeal 1 cup bloodmeal 1 cup Microlife 3-4 teaspoons of epsom salt 3 cups of activated biochar (activated with our own permaculture tea) I just made layers, starting with hydro corn on the bottom to aid airflow/run-off. On this I started layering the coco coir, Bi-grow, peat, castings, and amendments in a way that the more mature the plants get, the more phosphorous and less nitrogen they will find. Every time I made three layers, I would mix them by hand. This way we simulate natural soil, which consists of humic layers, composting plant waste, fungal and microbial life, and nutrients from fossilized sources. The Nutrients I will start with just adding 6.4 PH water, although this soil should buffer ph itself and regulate, after 4 weeks, I'll slowly be adding: - Biobizz Grow - Plagron Alga Grow - Biobizz CalMag - Biobizz Flower - Plagron Alga Flower - Biobizz Topmax - Melasses The Tea Some of you might remember the permaculture tea from my previous grow, I have a short video in my harvest page showing how we make it), it will star again in this grow. - (Rain)water - Comfrey (whole plants) - Dandelion leaves - Roots and leaves from the earlier grow - Minor periwinkle (Finca minor) is a plant we have in our garden, it contains an alkaloid that is associated with increased brain function but also is a light toxin for wee beasties and other unwanted guests like gnats (who hate it). - When flowering I add some wood ash to this mix Thank you for checking in on one of my grows again! These pictures were taken on day 20 of flower As you can see in the pictures I did a little defoliation of the bigger fan leaves. She's pretty advanced compared to the other ladies. Buds sites are formed, strong aroma going. Her structure looks like a straight up garden bush. Took the LST great ended up with a nice open, spread canopy. With the defoliation done, buds will be getting much more light exposure and grow a bit more before gaining weight. Really happy with the results so far with this strain. Die Pink Rozay bestätigt diese Woche endgültig, dass sie ein echtes Sommerkind ist. Kaum kratzen die Temperaturen an der 30 Grad Marke, drückt sie aufs Gas und wächst gefühlt direkt Richtung Mond. Das Höhenwachstum ist beeindruckend, aber mindestens genauso schön sind ihre riesigen Sonnensegel. Die Blätter wirken gesund, kräftig und sehen fast so aus, als wollten sie möglichst viel Sommer auf einmal einsammeln. Die Vorblüte zeigt sich mittlerweile sehr deutlich und damit war es Zeit für den Wechsel auf Green House BioBloom nach Düngeplan. Jetzt hoffen wir, dass die Dame ihre Energie langsam etwas weniger in die Höhe und dafür mehr in die kommende Blütenproduktion investiert. Wobei wir sie mittlerweile gut genug kennen, um zu wissen: Das es auf jeden Fall gut wird. . Das warme Wetter sorgt außerdem für ordentlich Durst. Aktuell verschwinden rund 2,5 Liter Wasser pro Tag, was zeigt, wie aktiv sie gerade arbeitet. Insgesamt präsentiert sich die Rozay wieder einmal als robuste, vitale Pflanze mit starker Genetik. Sie sieht hervorragend aus und macht genau das, was man sich von einer Outdoor-Dame im Hochsommer wünscht. 😘

Harvest Time Give few days, Let soil dry out and chop

I absolutely love to watch them grow! Especially that moment they hit their first growth spurt. I started with RO water that is remineralized for drinking purposes. The ppm is only 18! My tap is 156! So considering they don’t need much water, I’ve been stealing some of our drinking water. The RO water starts at pH of 7. After I add the nutrients, ppm of 249 @ pH of 5.8 while soil is still sweet @ pH of 7 I think my days are off as a new week begins on the last day of the previous week. I am going to leave that for consistency. 04/21 - Noticing some possible nutrient issues with the Fruity Pebbles for several days now. Going to see what she needs. Up front I’m thinking maybe just a super small amount of Amino Acids with a little Epsom Salt. Maybe she is struggling to access the nitrates from the neem cake. IF it’s a issues with nitrogen. We will see. Maybe she would benefit from some extra calcium?… Any ideas are greatly appreciated. Day 22 and I am noticing how these girls have been burning up a lot of potassium lately, dealing with the wind and sun 💨 ☀️, getting pushed around all day. I plant to top dress with some Kelp Meal pretty soon. Day 24 -> 4/22/22- a quote from the weather on today’s red flag warning and dust storm warning. “ HAZARD...Less than a quarter mile visibility with damaging wind in excess of 60 mph. SOURCE...Satellite imagery. IMPACT...Dangerous life-threatening travel.” I’m keeping the girls inside today. Day 26, I was planning to check the runoff on some of these girls, especially the fruity pebbles, however I messed that up as I also top dressed WAY too much of the seaweed bliss. So I flushed with plain RO water at pH of 7 until there was only slight coloration in the runoff. I didn’t check the runoff as a lot has changed with all that flushing. So next watering/feeding I will make sure I check the runoff on multiple plants. So the seaweed bliss with its 17 on potassium, seems to be the most likely culprit for why there is a bronze-ish color on the inside of the new growth. Hopefully a foliar feed of Epsom salts can correct the problem. Inside tent, lights on LOW. Noticing similar pattern in all of them to a degree, most noticeable in the fruity pebbles.

05/24 - Both have been transplanted into 5 gallon pots - Both are hooked up to the Vivosun smart drip emitter system - I have introduced three new components to their feeds (Silica,Horti Grow and Kelp) - They have been moved into the 3x3 tent from more room under a bigger light - I have dropped the net on them for maximum light exposure - Running the AC infinity supplement for added light exposure to underneath canopy and mid level grow. 😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎 - Check my IG grow family - IG @GREENPHOENIX6262 05/27 - Both of the ladies are coming along quite masterfully - After being placed in the 3x3 and the trellis net dropped she has exploded in width and length - The LST has worked accordingly spreading out the plant to give even coverage throughout the top canopy, mid/bottom growth and root zone - The increase in nutrient feed has also helped the plants come along without being stunted while in training - The @VIVOSUN smart drip emitter has been a nice addition to the program giving the plants consistent feeds throughout veg - Temps and Humidity remain high (72 - 81 Temps/ Humidity 71-72%).

The flowering is starting to become noticeable. At first, all the pistils have developed well. It's clear that the plant is drinking a lot more, although the soil takes a bit longer to dry out, so it stays somewhat damp. I’ll do a leaf pruning, removing one leaf per node.

Divine Seeds Auto Contest Candy Outside Grow 👉Sponsored Grow👈 W11F7 8/10-16 This week’s weather has been a mix of rain, clouds and thunderstorms. Temperatures were mostly in the mid to upper 80s during the day and low 70s at night. I watered 2 times with compost tea adding green sensation on the last watering. Information from Divine Seeds indicates that Auto Candy grown outside can reach 120 cm. that is 47 inches. My candy is 41 and falls within the range. My auto cady is a tall lanky girl. She has one main stalk and 4 short branches. The bud structure sits close to the stalk and small clusters of calyxes and smells sweet and syrupy and already sticky. Auto Candy is fattening up her buds. The structure shows minimal hairs and sugar leaves and mostly calyxes. I check all my outside plants daily in the morning. If it rained that night, I give each stem a good shake to help dry them out. So far so good, no mold or other fungus or bug issues. The pics show the trichomes starting to fill out even without a magnifier. I am getting excited to see the full development of buds, colors and smells. Let’s go! Next Week in our Outdoor Grow is here. The LA Kush Cake is topped as you now, and now she/he get defintly even more bushy what we wanted to. The "Main" Stem is now 4,9cm wide. The Plant complete is 1,5m in heigh. There coming a lot of side brenches what is actually hard to bend down. But doable... It would be defintly better when we have more Sunlight, but the Weather is like we know it from Germany "pure shit". So come on... The plants look much better. I put too much nuts On first week so I had to rest all of them -70%. In my case the Calcium was blocking the entry of potassium so I decided just put 0.5ml/2l. The smaller plants are in week 2 but I noticed 2 of them growing really fast, they’re almost like the others 4 plants who are one week older! Almost all f them will be transplanted at the end of this week
