Strange week for the plants as I switch in Hygrozyme Enzyme to help with the roots. A lot of dead tissue being consumed by beneficial microbes and fungi. PH rise more than 10 fold every 24 hours while EC levels rise by a point or two. The old roots are dying and being consumed new while bright, crisp, white roots are appearing. New growth is vigorous and the plants seem to enjoy the transition as hard as it is. End of week 6 The ladies are doing well. The blue zushi that didn't look too good from the beginning now seems to be recovering. They do suffer from heat stress. The temperature has touched 32 degrees at times. The blueberry cupcakes are twice the size of the zushi. Perhaps putting these 2 strains together in 1 tent was not such a good idea after all. I think at about a week and a half the conopy will be full, and i can finally start flower 😁

I joined Grow diaries late in my growing career... I wish I would have found this site sooner.. Enjoy! I personally enjoy growing mephisto genetics. I was very happy with the toof decay grow and end result. I ended up letting this cure for 2 months. It is number 2 in my book so far for my adventure with Mephisto seeds. Walter white is #1. I grew this in colder conditions through the winter of 2019. Super dense buds loaded trichs, very loud smell, and great appeal! I have more of these seeds so I will do a start to finish eventually. Last week I removed several leaves that dried out. Overall the plant is suffering from light exposure and now I have reached the maximum height for the lamp in the tent. The plant did not grow this week staying around 62cm. I found some roots on the surface and covered them with more soil. I have noticed no substantial changes in the buds and I am not sure whether the general dryness is affecting them. I have purchased a ph solution to tackle that issue hope not too late. I am still confident I to get a decent outcome in a couple of weeks.

No reservoir change this week in the end, just top ups and nutrient top ups - If I stop being lazy, I might do a complete change out tomorrow (D85). They're getting really frosty now. Can't wait to make some leafy THC snow in a few weeks time after I install my 24w UV-B tube above the canopy. Starting to pack on some lateral buds as well, pretty much mirroring last grow in terms of growth so far, without hacked off tops this time :) Can't really do anything about the wind burn, just got to accept it, otherwise the fan is on too low and doesn't move air properly. Básicamente lo mismo, aunque está semana pilló bastante más horas de luz(tuve que irme fuera de casa dos findes seguidos, en los cuales la dejé con la luz encendida full 24/7 en la caja) Como experiencia utilicé café reposado 48h para "alimentarla" e intentar bajar el Ph de la tierra (coco ph6+hummus ph7+vermiculita ph8= ph total 7) El otro experimento fue cubrir la tierra con coco para que el tallo eche raíces y aprovechar su espigamento! Las horas de luz solía dejarla 8h en bombilla mientras duermo, y el día la pongo en la ventana a que tome el fresco, pero apenas tiene luz directa, me da la sensación que crece más rapido cuando vuelvo del finde, estoy replanteandome tenerla más tiempo en la caja con luz, porque la veo aún pequeña, y quizá ponerle un ventilador de pc o algo🤔..veremos, aún tengo el papel de aluminio al lado de la caja y ni se lo he puesto, con eso os lo digo todo☝️🎃

The week went uneventful the plant is doing what it's supposed to be doing. The wifey is doing a great job in taking care of the plant while im travelling. Introduced Hess's PK 13/14 from the last feeding. PPM remained flat at 900 and will now gradually increase the PK 13/14 over the next weeks. Looks pretty good from what I can tell by the pictures I received. Still a bit of tip burn so, will decrease the base nutrients a little as well over the next few weeks.

Yeah it’s not anything like I had planned, but like I said last week, there is always next year. I’m just giving her molasses here and there. I don’t know the pH or ppm of the feed water. It’s just molasses and my 8 pH well water. Then back to just plain water if I’m not feeding. There are obviously a lot of soil amendments that I’m leaning on. I suppose the picture of her trunk isn’t that impressive because it lacks a reference of scale. But those are some big roots on the top there.

Final defoliation took place and they’re bushy but lights getting through to the lowers and that’s what counts. I ran out of build a flower, so I just gave them each 1/2 cup of Dr Earth Flower girl topdress. I’ll probably use it til finish if need be. The smell is starting to come in and they are a GASSY bunch already. Purple ghost candy has a diesely fruit flavor coming in already. Very excited for the next coming weeks

The FBT5, a red strain sent to me by my welsh brother Z to the Pharma, this and the other one he sent me are gonna be my first red strains, though i was growing reds last time but i wasnt lol, so this is it, let's see how i do , hope they sprout ! I dipped these seeds overnight in water with a few drops of my specially made kelp extract and then I basically followed the RQS instructions for their propagator https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gt1-geupkt8 comes with this brown powder... no idea what it is though lol ! well i was nervous it wasnt gonna sprout but it very well did on day 2 and had roots sticking out day three, gave her a tea spoon of water on day 3 and transplanted her on day 5. V8, supuestamente hoy haría transplante a los maceteros definitivos, pero, hace 3 días que las plantas están presentando hojas débiles y dobladas hacia abajo, en un principio pensé en que podría ser exceso de agua, pero creo que es exceso de nutrientes, básicamente exceso de nitrógeno, ya que las hojas están con un verde muy oscuro y algunas están presentando manchas color café. Así que hoy les hice lavado de raíz, con agua EC 0, hasta que el drenaje fue de cercano a 4 EC. Esperaré unos días a ver si se recuperan, si no, simplemente las eliminaré y empezaré de nuevo, ojalá se recuperen. V9, al final si era exceso de nutrientes/nitrógeno, menos mal que se recuperaron con el lavado de raíces, pensé que morirían, ahora veré como siguen para decidir si hago transplante hoy mismo. V10, se realizó trasplante a macetas definitivas y un riego suave. Las plantas están todavía en recuperación, esperaré unos días más para empezar el LST. V12, riego. V13, se realizó una pequeña defoliación y LST.
