Buena semana de lluvia que hemos tenido por mi zona. ¿Qué tal están? A principios de semana le realizamos su último trasplante a maceta final de 7 litros. También una defoliación, que le dejé solo hojas en los dos últimos nudos. Y nada, mantuvieron el sustrato húmedo, con el riego del propio trasplante. Así que estas pidiendo agua, y en cuanto se vuelva a encender el foco, le daremos su riego. Y bueno, ya pocos días restan para que empiece la fase de floración. 11-25 I had planted 2 Granddaddy purple seeds that had been soaking in water, one for 72 hours that had no taproot, and another that had been soaking in a glass of water for 24 hours that had a 1/2" taproot. I planted both in the same spot thinking the one with no taproot would not sprout. I was wrong they both sprouted which left me with 2 sprout growing within a cm of each other. Above is a video of me actually digging out the sprout and a pic of the plant 24 hours after transplant. Looks like she will survive as well as the other.

ZigkGrow is back in the game😎 Hello to everyone guys. I hope everyone has been growing epic buds since the day I finished my first diary. My first diary went pretty cool. I enjoyed a lot but knowing myself I knew that I had to learn more about growing cannabis to achieve higher levels and be okay with myself. So Zigk after many hours of researching, smoking and having fun came up to this day with this diary. Hope everything goes well and what I've learned will bear fruit in this grow (literally😅) Let's talk a little bit about my setup and the flashy "Automatic-Watering System" to shed some light in the tunnel. I bought a tent 0.40x0.40x1.40cm so we are pretty tight here but I am hoping for a "one and good" plant. I am going to use for lighting the led panel from Spiderfarmer SF-1000, big upgrade compared to the 250w CFL I had back then. I will be using coco coir in a 6lt airpot with high fertigation and a RTW/DTW hydroponic system. I've also got some pretty good meters. HM Digital PH-200 for pH and HM Digital COM-100 for EC. There is also a humidifier and a carbon filter from Airontek with a VKO 105m3/h exhaust fan. So how does the Automatic-Watering System works and how do I achieve high fertigation with that : There is a reservoir (blue box in my case) out of the tent where I keep my nutes mixed with water. Inside the reservoir is an airstone that provides oxygen and a submersible water pump connected to the pipe. The water pump plug is connected to a timer which I set when to run and for how much time. When the pump is on is sending nutes to my plant and I can control the flow of it with a valve. Practically I dont have to water by hand and I can achieve high fertigation which means watering with nutes many times a day. My plan is to water 5 times a day. Now is the time for the big question. Will this work and give me higher and better yields? I am not going to explain the science behind this theory because I want to keep the diary clean and talking about this would need many rows of words. You can search it on internet tho and find many articles. I am not capable of answering with confidence now and we will only be sure by watching the results. So let the time show us and have fun!😄

Blue Shark is looking fab! Still a darker green than everyone else. There are 2 videos this week, one where I explain how my plan for a tomato roof using materials I already had didn't work out, and the 2nd being about the rogue who grew in my pea bed (whom I affectionately call "Rogue One") who has been raised almost exclusively on my homemade compost. I had people who were concerned last year when I made my own compost tea from the compost in my pile. People were concerned about bacteria, nutrient profile, etc. I feel like a lot of people get really regimented in their feeding, and they sort of forget that these are plants and they can adapt. They take what they need if it's available. I moved away from using mineral salts this year because you have to be careful with so many of these fertilizers so that you don't burn the plant, you have to flush it so you don't get a harsh smoke, mineral salts causing lockout, etc. If you stick with products that are natural you don't really have to worry about nute burn. You don't have to flush for an extended period of time before harvest. You don't have salts building up in the soil that are detrimental that you have to periodically flush and then add beneficial microbes back in. There is another way.

Finally here !! After 3 days in a mix of lombricompost and black soil of demetheart the plants have stretched too much, the clone light is not bright enough, I'm going to move them!!

Not there yet checking trichomes starting this week. Probably have 2-3 weeks left. The strawberry pie continues to outshine the other strains. Gorilla glue is a close second with nice dense buds but not as many trichomes. The grapefruit may be a late maturing plant it seems like it’s starting to stack up but has a long way to go I’m guessing 4-5 weeks so not so impressed with the grapefruit for an auto. The grapefruit is acting more like a photo as you can see in the pictures the tallest plants are grapefruit. Only time will tell but I like autos for there fast turn around time if I wanted a plant that takes 12-14 weeks I would get photos and get bigger yields.

Well it's official the first week of flower is in the bag! All in all not an eventful week but it's always exciting to see the girls start their transformation to flower and seeing the stretch kick in! Netting is really filling in nicely, will be a good clean up job on fan leaves in a week or so. Did a diatomaceous earth treatment because I was noticing some fungus gnats still, had it on for 48 hours and since have not seen any new ones in the traps so 🤞. Added a 6" oscillating fan below canopy, should help keep temps even and keep bugs away. With all the trimming down there the fan doesn't even effect the leaves hahaha. Flower week 2 here we come!

Hi people :-) This week the Victory Kush F1 (Phenotype 1-3) and the Zkittlez (Phenotype 1) were harvested. The Orange Sherbert (Phenotype 1-2) and the Zkittlez (Phenotype 2) were flushed. The rest fertilized as usual. Next week it continues :-) I wish you all a nice and healthy weekend.

Aug 17: Chemdawg auto is ripening nicely. Need direct sun to make trichomes but it is cool smoky and overcast again today. Oh well, not everyday is 24 C and sunny all day. Aug 20: sunny day again and have her under a UV light. Aug 21: chance of rain today so no UV light while I’m at work today.

Tomorrow is the end of the tenth week for the plants, this morning I fed them, before that I gave them only water for 2 waterings, that is, they were in water for a whole week. It's hot right now and I'm watering them every 3 days, this morning they each got 30+ liters, anyway, except for the ones in smaller pots, they got a lot less.

Well I think I messed up, I started this auto in a seed starting tray and after reading a bit it seems I should've start her right in her final pot... I transplanted a couple days ago, hopefully she won't resent me for the rough start.

Still chugging along. I think she's going to be a big one.

The big sister.... Just way more mature. She has pre flowers.... so soon.....The biggest of the 3. She is starting to branch. Need to transplant this week. Greenhouse is ready.

Most of this week I was away so the tent was on autopilot. When i got back i was pleased to see all 4 strains where still around the same on development. The Amnesia trance is the taller of the 2 AMS autos. She is starting to throw out some nice colours now. I'm fairly confident this one is going to hit my 13 weeks scheduled for it, so not long left. Notes Day 64 nothing away Day 65 autofeed last weeks nutes Day 66 Got back, everything's fine Day 67 manually water Day 68 light strength from 75% to 87% PPFD was 579 Dli was 37.5 now its 634Ppfd 41.1Dli. Week 8 and the tops are getting amber so will probably flush this week and let the lower parts keep going.
