Day 172. Some strains ended up frosty, smelly and nuggy, so I already have 76 g from first Strawberry, rest should bring some buds too, couple plants will go untrimmed to my friends as presents, one was already given away ... Think I will have like 300 g easy, and my friends got same amount as presents. Not a bad project, with loads of issues, happily almost no care was given or needed, so I count it as a result achieved : 1. I know that Hermie is bringing other hermies. 2. UK weather is only for autos, that lesson should be learnt long time ago, but I still hope to find mold resilient strain... No updates or other strain harvests will be done, have no time to play ... Van creciendo muy bien, está semana fue todo tranquilo... Hey everyone, quick update on my Hulk in living soil! It’s growing like crazy, and I’m starting to get a bit concerned it might get too big once the flowering stretch kicks in 😅. Other than that, I’ve just been watering occasionally and adding some beneficial microorganisms . I’m thinking in about 1-2 weeks, I’ll switch to 12/12.

Hi Topman! ...and 2 weeks passed as 1 - the pre-flowering was 10 days and now the 4-5th day of flowering! I think she will let her brothers shit!!

Week 2

At the beginning of this week, I have been fighting the gnats, which are less and less now. Just some watering and gradually lowering the light and going to full power. The Orange Hill Special has been filling out great and I must say, she is a pretty plant. With some manual bending and super cropping, I'm bending the longer stalks sideways and we are off. What I actually do is more of an intuitive hybrid between mainlining (where I bend the whole plant 90 degrees at the third week), LST (where I bend branches outward slightly, without tying), HST / Super crop (where I bend the stems 90 degrees with the clips or manually), after which I keep bending outward to SOG and, put the net over to end in SCROG. This same method gave me the canopy in my prize-winning Gelato 33 grow. Check it out if you haven't seen it, it was my first experimental accident that led to beta test of Super Soil mixture 0.7, now we are at Alpha version 1.00 and testing great so far if I say so myself. I haven't seen such lush greens in my own grows, only outdoor. They seem uber-healthy and resilient, with very sturdy stems and leaves. Way more resilient than previous strains I tested in the beta soil. The light is performing, the natural color of it makes everything pop. Mars Hydro has a winner with the SP-3000. Halfway through this week, I took the clips out, AND...... we switched them to go into flowering. After a day the stretch is already visible. I had to bend them again after a couple of days. Now we have almost a tent filling foundation for a maximum result canopy of buds. I was wanting to amend the soil with flowering additions (see recipe in yellow image), but I'm holding it off for two reasons. A/ The leaves are still so green and lush, I think there is an abundance of nutes. B/ @Haoss mentions his suspicions on his OHS grow (@#CannapediaProGrowersCup Orange Hill that very sadly went hermie on him) that nutrition in this phase could have had an influence, after asking what happened to him. I would have loved to see that grow to full harvest. But it makes me a bit cautious. if Haoss (whom I consider to be one of the star growers here) couldn't prevent this, what chance have I? I'm waiting until the girls start asking for nutrients. They'll show me what they need in their own time. For now this soil is the shizzle (also quite literally) and Im happy with how everything is going. I remember much more hassle and steering in the last grow. This grow, even the Gorilla runt seems happy. I now water them 3 liters of water / Perma tea mixture every 4 days, every 3rd watering I don't do the tea. This makes for fewer gnats and this soil seems to hold water nicely, also due to the hydro corn. What I like is there is always some unforeseen circumstance, a tilt of the tables, some battle to be fought which delivers in big harvests or, in worst case, no harvest at all. It makes it more exciting, when your heart is at stake, we pour a lot of love and attention in the ladies. So with hopes, but not too high, we go into flowering. One of the targets for that grow is to keep the height of the plant as low as possible, because i only have about 80 cm from the bottom of the box to the LED lights as available space for the plant, so i thought i will a give that LST a try. Additionally i slowly started incresing the power of the LED to 60%. By now (a few weeks later) I already know that i started the LST a little bit early, but the plant was reacting well and kept growing. Furthermore I added a cheap webcam to my setup to create some timelapse videos. It's not a high res camera, but I still find it very interesting to watch that plant grow in timelapse 😁

Just feeding it at the moment. Still not to sure if it's male or female yet. She is female 😁.

Week 4 has begun. LST (Low Stress Training) is starting to show its effects: most of the shoots have grown past the rim of the pot and are being tied down further away from the center—this will continue until the stretch begins. During the stretch phase, no further training will be done; the plants will be allowed to grow upwards undisturbed. I’m curious to see how many shoots will be in the desired position by then, and whether all the shoots or bud sites will be on an even level after the stretch. Until then, defoliation will continue as needed, and tying down will be adjusted accordingly.

Smooth sailing! These girls are absolutely exploding! Gonna be some absolute monster colas! Loving life! Cut out the nitrogen this week! Back to just bloom, micro, and big bud! These ladies are very healthy! Check out my other gorilla glue grow!

This week I decided not to do any feeding of nutrients, just some good ole H20 , ph'd around 5.5. I haven't seen anymore bleaching of tips so I'm guessing the raising of the lights helped and possibly the change in PH (my levels were off). I'm starting to think I may turn this plant into a mother plant, eventually taking 6 clones, selecting the best 4 of the 6 to start a scrog. I feel as though if I just grow this one plant it'll take forever to fill in the tent for a scrog

She is now in her 2 litre airpot.

420 Fastbuds Week 9 Gorilla Zkittlez Auto What up everyone it's week 9 for these 2 wonderful girls. They're getting super close to being finished. The smell I wish I could package and save its so delightful and nice. The flowers are fattening up great. I'd guess maybe one more week tops. I'm already seeing mostly cloudy heads on the trichomes. Hopefully be in time for a little Christmas meds. All in all Happy Growing

16 days of slow drying each plant with the environment controlled inside the tent with 2 meters. I have two fans on, pointing at the floor to circulate the air temps - 20 - 23 º humid - 50- 60 %

Week 12 - Mehn Oh Mehn - The Purple Is Really Starting To Come In Now I Think Last Week’s Cold Temp Situation Really Unlock The Purple Characteristics. The Scent Is Very High And The Trichomes Are Mostly Clear With A Few Cloudy Showing. I Am No Longer Using Nutrients Because I Will Start The 2 Weeks Now Because You Don’t Want The Weed Getting Over Ripe Thats When The Scent Would Start To Face. So In Two Weeks Time I Will Have Mostly Cloudy With A Few Clear Or A Few Amber With Strong Aurora At It’s Peak. Tell me What You Guys Think In The Comments.
