#1 still not flowering it’s been almost 3 weeks since the flip to 13/11. #3 is loaded with buds!! #4 is also loaded. #3 and #4 aren’t stretching a ton, and I love that they seem to be putting all of their energy into making buds. I’ve defoliated some to keep the budsites in the light.

Beautiful flower full of trichomes. Smell and test fantastic. Very fast flowering. She was done on day 49 but I cut her down few days later. I love the strain, the only thing that I will like this strain to have is a better yield. Beast quality buds I ever grew.

Hello Diary. Finished and the third week of flowering, Purple Punch has reached a height of 67 cm and I think it has reached its maximum. 👆 All three plants are now the same height which is great considering the position of the light. At the end of the week I did a defoliation, I cleaned the lower leaves and branches on both plants, but most of all I had to fix their roommate Watermelon whose leaves took on a yellowish color with brown spots. Although the treatment was the same for all three plants, these symptoms did not appear on Purple Punch. If the cause is over feeding, then the conclusion is that Purple Punch is a much more resistant plant. 💪 The flowers develop nicely, are full of already visible trichomes and begin to take on an increasingly intense scent. After all, everything can be seen in detail in the photos. At this stage of flowering I started doing photos on a black background, the photos are much nicer. All in all, I am pleased with how Purple Punch is progressing, both plants look healthy and satisfied. I added nutrients when watering to finally see which dose is optimal for them, but given Watermelon, it’s hard to judge when each strain reacts differently. For now, Purple Punch is not complaining. 👌 Here is a brief overview of the week. 04/03/2021 - Day 37. Watering. I regulated p.H. at 6.3 with Plagron’s Lemon Kick, and added one Easy Bloom Booster tablets to a total of 7 gallons of water. With that, I watered all three plants evenly. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 25.3 degrees and 41% humidity. 08/03/2021 - Day 41. Watering. p.H. I regulated to 6.2, I added 1ml / lit CalMg and BioBizz as scheduled for the third week of flowering. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 25 degrees and 39% humidity. 09/03/2021 - Day 42. Defoliation and photography. I photographed the plants in the Box, to see the current condition and after that I did a defoliation. For the end, I took the final photos of the plant for the end of the 6th week. Everything after germination has been pretty smooth. The plants in veg had a couple small brown spots due to under watering but no extreme signs or any abnormalities.

I typically do start my checks in Week 8 but since this is a new strain I decided to go ahead and do a Trichome check just to see what was what.. Just as I thought nothing but clear glassy Trichomes. I will check again in one week.... 5/25/2023 Week 7- Day 3 of Flower (Day 112 overall) Just letting them grow today!! Week 6 all 3 are flowering strawberry banana is behind about 2 weeks had to start another seed. But Now is looking great. The banana purple punch is just cool looking with a very strong smell (front left) and the gorilla cookies is looking great. Really loving the Roots Organic’s dry/Terp tea amendments makes life way easier.

Semaine 2 – Croissance Mother Gorilla On continue sur une bonne lancée avec cette deuxième semaine de croissance ! La plante est bien vigoureuse, elle a clairement pris du volume depuis la semaine dernière. J’estime qu’elle a quasiment doublé de taille, on est maintenant aux alentours de 15-16 cm. C’est un bon signe, elle se plaît dans son environnement et ça se voit aussi au niveau des racines : elles ont bien évolué en quelques jours, bien blanches et en pleine forme. Côté constantes, on reste sur 18h de lumière par jour. La température oscille entre 22-23°C en journée et descend à 18°C la nuit, donc l’amplitude reste raisonnable. Niveau pH, il a un peu bougé et est monté à 6, mais rien d’inquiétant. Je vais surveiller s’il continue de grimper, et si besoin, je le redescendrai à 5,8. Pour l’humidité, j’ai baissé légèrement à 70 %, et je prévois de continuer dans cette direction la semaine prochaine pour descendre entre 60 et 65 %. L’objectif est de garder un VPD entre 0,4 et 0,8 max, histoire de rester dans une bonne fourchette pour la croissance. Aucune modification sur la plante pour l’instant : je ne l’ai pas encore topée, je préfère lui laisser encore une semaine d’acclimatation avant de commencer le travail de structure. Même chose pour la solution nutritive, je suis toujours sur la même que la semaine dernière. Pour l’instant, pas de signe de carence ou de besoin particulier, donc je continue comme ça. En résumé, tout roule ! La plante est en bonne santé, ses feuilles sont bien larges, et son système racinaire est top. As for the conditions, we’re sticking to 18 hours of light per day. Temperature stays between 22-23°C during the day and drops to 18°C at night, which is a good range. The pH has fluctuated a bit, sitting at 6 now, but nothing concerning. I’ll keep an eye on it—if it keeps rising, I’ll adjust it back down to 5.8. Humidity has been slightly lowered to 70%, and I plan to keep decreasing it next week to around 60-65%. My goal is to maintain a VPD between 0.4 and 0.8 max to keep things ideal for growth. No plant training yet—I haven’t topped it, as I want to give it another week to settle in before I start shaping it. Same goes for the nutrient solution—I’m still using the same mix from last week. The plant isn’t showing any deficiencies or issues, so I’m keeping things steady. Overall, everything’s looking great! The plant is healthy, leaves are nice and wide, and the roots are thriving. We’re closing in on what I’d call the subjectively ideal harvest window. Amber trichomes are now appearing on the sugar leaves, which (by rule of thumb 😄) means the rest are likely cloudy. The aroma is exactly as expected — like smashing your face into a bowl of cookie dough. This week I realized that I actually never fed her with runoff since I started flowering her, which is something I usually recommend others to do! 😂 So I gave her 10l plain RO water at lights off, and then at lights on 10 more liters with nuts. There came about 5l of runoff with an EC very close to 5, very high. Two days after she started giving a wonderful strong smell and the buds seem to be swelling. So at the next watering, I prepared 20l(EC 1,8), and gave her that all at once. You can see the video. This time there came 8l runoff with EC 5.31. I think I will repeat this 20l again next time to be sure she doesn't get root lock. I'm impressed by her, it looks like she will end up making some really nice big buds if she keeps going this way for 3 more weeks :D
