Day 65 past nutrition problems I believe have slowed growth. unfortunately on a plant I think I have problems with the compaction of the soil which has caused too much irrigation. the plant does not eat and a little slower than the others. now after 4 days to dry i will give only datpo water which seems to burn for nutrients, i believe brought about by the fact that they are deposited in the soil. all in all they continue to grow and hope for the best! 💚🌱

Had some nutrient burnt

The buds on this herercane have a lot of those little round leaves in them. I'm not a fan of the visual or the challenge it presents in trimming. Hope others trying this strain get some better phenos. If not, then Herercane wont be sticking around...I gave the girls a flush and a complete water change this week. That was only the second water change they have had this grow. I have just been letting them drink the reservoir almost empty and then filling it up with fresh nutes. The 5 plants are drinking about 4 gallons a day combined. Been running AC when the lights are on and the dehumidifier 24 hours a day. All of the plants are showing some decent trichome production. Running 1/2 tsp maxibloom and 1/8 tsp beastie bloomz per gallon every time I add water. Seems to be keeping everyone happy.

Week 4 and my plant is growing well but I think it has indica type leaves and not going to tall like sativa plants. Some leave are touching soil

Growth stun abit in #1 due to snap in the stem but still manage to grow half inch. n push new growth........#2 main growth stun but directed to lower branches n still grow about 2 inch......#3 double it growth with 4.5 inch. didn't need lst was showing good growth in lower branches from early

Seeds were inside a glass of water for 2 days and then in a paper towel until they were long enough to be planted in soil. The soil is a light soil, I think is Top Crop. I added a little of mycorrhyzal fungi to the light soil with another little of trichoderma powder and diatomaceus earth. I also added some well cocco coir and that was it. With this gentle mix the medium of this babies will be just fine. In the first irrigation I'll add a bit of molasses like top candy to feed our micro friends and a root stimulator like top deeper.

Plant has been getting straight pH balanced water this last week and minimal nutes. It is showing some slight nute burn so I let off a bit and raised the light canopy about 6”. I discovered that what I thought was a calcium or potassium deficiency was actually a rookie grower error by me. I have an RO system that I use to water all my strains in the grow room including this one, but when adding nutes to the water, it takes too long so I had been filling them up with well water. When I had originally tested the well water, I must had used a faulty testing agent as after testing it this last week, I was showing a pH of 7.5 vs. my RO of 6.2. Thus, every time I was adding nutes (multiple times a week) I was significantly fluctuating the pH between regular feedings and nutrient additions. To make matters worse, when I originally thought it was nute burn, I flushed each plant with well water and likely caused additional stress. Anyway, I have since learned that the well water needs to be treated, I only utilize RO water the last few days and plan to do so over this next week. Also, I have turned off the CO2 system as I was starting to see signs of heat stress on a couple of the strains (not this one). The literature I have reviewed suggested that these strains might be able to handle heat closer to 90F but it was also causing issues with high humidity so when I added a dehumidifier, it pushed the day temp to between 90-92F and the overnight temps were not getting low enough (maybe 85F or so). Maybe I could leave out the dehumidifier, but I was getting rH of 70% and didn’t want to risk any bud rot or mildew growth. So for now, I have turned off the CO2 and am getting high temps of 81F with 60% humidity and overnight temps of 74F and 50% humidity. The Future #1 has shown the least signs of stress and is fattening up its buds very nicely. Over the next few weeks I will start monitoring the trichomes for a nice milky color for harvesting.

Welcome back to Colorado Gnome Grown. This week the gnome’s have been busy with the irrigation system. The water is stored in a 5g container and I mix the feed in it and it gets feed every time I water, which is twice a day for 1 minute, or until the plants drip. The plants are setting on a rack so that the water can drain away from the plant and into a tray. The plan is to buy Big Buds the first of the month to keep on hand to finish up in 4 weeks. Cookie Monster is 4in today and Noel is 2in, and both are starting to grow their bud site. Next week I will Top and defoliate for the first time. 4/10/2023 Week 1- Day 1 of Flower (Day 68 overall) So when I looked in the tent today the leaves were just above the Net. They hit my " I have to flip mark" so I did just that I flipped them today. I drained the system and filled it with Week 1 Day 1 Flower Nutes. The lights are set to turn off at 8:00pm EST and will turn back on tomorrow at 0800 EST and everyday for the rest of the Grow. To get my water change schedule back on track to Saturdays, since I had to flip tonight on a Tuesday, I will wait 1 week and 5 days instead of the typical 2 weeks for my first change out of the system, so not this Saturday coming up but the following Saturday. This strains aroma is intoxicating, first test on 8/26. Smoked 3/4 of a big bowl And the high is a 8/10. Will cure for another 2 weeks and reassess..... at 66% humidity right now, Amber jar burping 1-2 times a day. 9/9 second test. same great taste and smell. Accidentally got too high and forgot to cover jar so humidity is around 48%. Smoked 3/4 of a small bowl and was really high all night.
