If I woulda left it a little longer I coulda brought out much more color but even so there are purples and reds and 10 different color greens. Headband might have taken the award for density away from the enemy's dream. The headband and critical purp both had some purple. Can't wait to smoke em all. Happy to get the first filled to capacity run in my room fully set up and anxious to start the next.

I'm gearing up for some tech tweaks in my green haven. 🌿🔧 Here's what's on the agenda: Calibrating the Soil Moisture Sensor: Next week, I'm planning to calibrate my soil moisture sensor. It’s a nifty piece of tech that uses capacitive technology. So, how does it work? These sensors measure the water content in the soil based on the electrical capacitance. Basically, the more water in the soil, the higher the capacitance. It’s like a mini superpower for understanding soil moisture! Dealing with Environmental Factors: The catch is, the sensor's readings can be influenced by temperature and air humidity. I plan to make some smart corrections to minimize these effects. The goal? To get super accurate moisture readings, unaffected by external conditions. It’s all about precision! With these tweaks, I'm aiming for a perfect balance in my plant's environment. Week 3 for the Apricot from our favorite autoflower company, of course fastbuds 420! All looks quite good at the moment. This week we gave bloom, root, silica, calmag amino, sugar shot, sticky fingers and bloom booster all from xpert nutrients!

Hey growmies! ✌️ Time for another update on the Frosty Tooth growing in the Minigrow One. We’re currently at day 19 since switching to the bloom phase, and the first signs of bud development are starting to show. The buds are still small, but it’s a promising start! The plant is staying incredibly compact, but the leaves are growing in abundance. To give her some breathing space, I had to do two rounds of heavy defoliation. The difference is already noticeable—she looks much tidier and healthier now. 🌱 I’m really curious to see how much she’ll stretch as the buds continue to develop. I’ve heard that the buds can grow so tall they almost touch the protective glass below the grow light without getting burned. Let’s put that to the test and see how far she can go! 😅

Everyone is officially in flush mode, washing away all the chemicals in the coco and attached to the roots, making sure I flush them with atlas 50% runoff, I flush em with 14L of plain PH water at 6.4.

Week 1 and the first round of testing for this recent new cross. The F1 generation of Northern Spice. Germination was a full 100% with varying degrees of development across 3 days in the towel. Oddly however, about half of the beans cracked the shell head first with their cotelydons. Stability is always suspect with F1s anyway, but this kind of sampling, this early is concerning somewhat. We’ll see where it goes. On another topic, we also made some big changes to the grow method this cycle. We’ve moved over to a grow system by the bucket company. Fairly similar to the Dutch bucket design, just without the small reservoir in each bucket that acts as an additional insurance policy. So far, she’s purr’n like a kitten👌. Strain details She’s a mix of a particularly strong Northern Lights, mixed with a Spicy Bitch sativa hybrid. The hope is that we’ll be able to combine the overtly narcotic effects in the NL and mellow it out somewhat with the quality daytime sativa effects found in the SB. Both strains feature numerous grower qualities. Both parents possessed vigour and resiliency, the SB particularly colourful in late flower.

Week 8 of Veg, preparing to flip to flower this coming weekend. Gonna do an extended light period but not quite the 24hrs of dark. LST is opening up light to the lower growth and making more room for big colas!

En la segunda semana de floracion le he sujetado un par de hojas muy grandes a la rama porque estan tapando las demas plantas, ahora solo utilize el engordador de cogollos, he tenido que dejar el calentador encendido porque con las 12 horas de luz la habitacion se esta enfriendo mucho y las temperaturas han bajado hasta los 16 grados, prefiero no estresarlas pero por lo demas van bien. He notado tambien que algunas hojas grandes de abajo, como que se pudren o se ponen muy debiles y se caen solas.

2/22/24 - Day 108 - ok yall harvest is done! I'm exhausted! It took about 3hrs. There were a few things that I will highlight the differences. I have tons of pictures and video to go through. I'll update later...... I'm tired! 2/23/24 - Day 109 - Everything went really well yesterday. I was able to cut the harvest time from 9 hrs last time to 3 hrs this time. Here are some of the details on this. Last time I hung each branch on its own, it took forever to use the twist ties and then to hang each one. This time i used some drying nets. The only problem with the drying nets is for sure there will be one side that is going to be flat..... it's still going to smoke the same and if it saves me 5 hrs. then I'm doing that. LOL I also decided this time not to wet trim the buds before putting them up to dry. I did remove fan leaves that had 0 THC on them, but if there was a leaf sticking from a bud and it had THC on it i left it. That also saved me some time. The bud quality was better this time around, the buds are denser and more compact. I also had almost NO popcorn buds. The last grow I had 2 to 3 ounces in popcorn schwag buds. They were tasty and great but this time around every bud was a legit contender. This could be due to having more space, I used an Auto in the box this time. I thought Autos would be difficult to control in this space limited environment, but it was the exact opposite. It's just as easy if not easier to grow an Auto in this Magic Box. I think its important to note that anything I talk about here is from my own experience, I've purchased everything with my own money and no one pays me for my reviews or details. This is such a labor of LOVE for me. They day I get a job in the Cannabis industry is the day I stop working, at that point it would just be me living my dream having a BLAST! This harvest was my first true harvest. I worked on coco choir for the first tiem and it was really easy and I will work again in the future with coco choir and fabric pots. The strain was really easy to grow and could handle stress pretty well. I would advise against transplanting and maybe giving her less N during early flower. I am really proud for this girl! I cant wait to smoke her. edit: Dried under the sun and smoked just to test it with some friends and we all loved it. Strong taste and smell and a very strong sativa high the rest will cure for a month after drying. I will do another smoke report in a week!
