I think there’s been some sort of salt build up / nutrient lock. The lower leaves have been turning a lighter green and some even yellow on SL plants. Most stems are red. Seems like it’s a pH problem. I flushed them with 4-5 litres of water to reduce the nutrient concentration in the roots. Going to introduce molasses in next feeding! Organic Unsulphered And also stop the Micro (nitrogen)

Last week only lots of tap water for my Mexican Ladies. Her leaves got a bit yellow but that was expected and planned. Today was the day to thank them for their service and I cut them both down to drie, with all leaves included except for the fan leaves. Can't wait to see and test the results! She is not a heavy packer, in weight it won't be a lot but I am aiming for Quality > Quantity 😏

Things are starting to come together

12/20 - Day 78 - The two smaller plants looked slightly overfed with nutrients so I gave them each 2 litres of water with 2ml/L of flawless finish. Bleu's pot was dry and she got 4 L of water with 1 Tbs of Molasses. 12/22 - Day 80 - Watered each plant to runoff with ~5 L of water. PH = 6.7 and 2.5 ml/l of flawless finish. I suspect some salt buildup is causing the nutrient burn and so 1 more flush in 2 days, and then will potentially reintroduce nutrients at that point depending how they respond.

Rainbow Saltz is looking really strong, and it's definitely one of my bigger plants. The colors are so vibrant, and I love the unique look of it. Another great variety from lit Farms. I can't wait to see how it performs. Last week was awesome! I finally got around to giving all my plants a little upgrade – I repotted them into some bigger homes. They're all looking so happy and healthy now, it's crazy. I can't wait to see how much they grow this year!

June 7 - We ordered some new lights last week, they are 240w kingbrite samsung lm310h with uv/ir, 3000k, and meanwell drivers. We setup the new room and moved the girls into there. After a bit of LST and a watering (with nutrients) at roughly 7ph, they were ready to go under the 2 new lights and the same SF-1000 we have been using in this grow. The new room is a 12 ft enclosed trailer. I moved everything from the small tent into this. I put clear poly on the walls, floor and ceiling. I put poly on the shelf I am going to be keeping in there as well. I bought 50ft of 6mm mylar and lined the floors, roof and sides with it. I plan to get some reflective tape to seal everything and to cover the wood. I did not get much of a chance to watch temp's today as they it was later in the evening after all was said and done. The inline fan blowing in air from outside. June 8 - 9 AM i checked the plants, they were at 25.2 and 50% RH. Late through the day I had checked and we had gotten up to around 32 degrees. So I moved the inline fan to the closer vent, hooked up to that, and had the air blowing out of the trailer with the inline fan sucking it from above the lights. I then added oscillating fan and had it blowing air on the left side of the room so it would somewhat circulate once I closed the doors. I then checked at about 9pm and we were at 22 degrees. Definitely noticed a decent amount of growth already. I have the lights on a 22/2 cycle as I was worried about the heat at night time. June 9 - Some great growth from the girls, still having problems controlling the temps in the afternoon. I decided to prop the door open a bit to have a constant breeze throughout the day while I am at work. Decided to do some more LST and also a bit of defoliation. I took about 25% of the leaf's that were blocking the new growth as it was getting a bit bunched up. I was then told the leaf's are almost solar panels for them. So from now on I will be trying to just do some tucking unless needed. The leaf's I removed were most of the damaged leaf's, I am not to sure if that makes much of a difference. I gave them a watering with only water as there is a potential I am getting a bit of a nutrient buildup along with the PH problem. Or potentially the reason for the ph problem is nutrient buildup. After watering with A PH of 7 I got some run off and tested it. The smaller plant gave me a PH of about 5.5 where the bigger one is around 5.0. June 10 - Plants are looking happy and showing tons of growth. Seems to be trying to stretch outwards. Not a ton of sign of PH issues showing so potentially getting it under control. Still a bit of damage to previous leaf's but it is what it is! The last few days I have been leaving the door open a bit in order to keep the temps down. I decided to test something and turn the lights off (automatically) at 11AM and back on at 5PM so light schedule has now changed to 18/6 and it seems I may have figured out the issue. We haven't had lots of sun the last couple days so it hasn't been to hard and I have yet to know if it truly fixed the heat issue for now. (I will be looking into a ac unit as well since it typically gets to around 30-35 around here. June 11 - Pulled some of the branches back down and added a few more LST spots. Seems we have a good amount of growth from the smaller plant out of the 2 topped spots. Unfortunately it looks like I fucked up on the bigger plant and only one of the nodes seems to have new growth. I will continue to monitor that but I think I cut the node to low and also to soon. Other then that, the girls are doing great. They seem to be absolutely loving these new lights. I gave them some nutrient water today as well. roughly 3L each. They seem to be A hell of A lot more thirsty under these new lights. June 12 - The girls are doing great , they are still just doing growing away. Lots of progress everyday. I am going to be getting a go-pro so I can set-up a time-lapse for the rest of this grow. I received my new inline fan, I got A ac infinity CLOUDLINE T4 with the temperature humidity controller. I am going to be having one fan pushing fresh air in and one fan pulling out the hot air. I will be doing that tomorrow since I have to work today. June 13 - I ordered another 50ft of mylar and that showed up today. I have decided to remove the shelf and add another 3+ feet to the grow space. So today I installed more poly, mylar, the ac infinity fan. I have it set-up to pump in air if it gets to warm. I am thinking of switching it to the output that way if it gets to hot or to humid I can have that air pulled out of the trailer. Right now my other inline fan is the outtake and I just have it set on full. Overall I think everything is set-up a bit better and more accessible. I will be putting my 2x2 tent in there at the left of the doors so I can have a veg room when these 2 are in flower. I plan to have 4 in veg and 4 in flower for the next grow. Still waiting on JOTI seeds, ordered 3 weeks ago and still have not been shipped. I will be getting those going the moment they arrive. The girls seem to be happy still, did a bit more LST to try to keep everything even, mainly I'm just pulling down on the spots I already have tie wire on.

Controlando el ph y alimentándolas bien, no tienen por qué suponer ninguna complicación en su ciclo. En floración procuramos que jamas suba la humedad por encima del 50% ni que la temperatura sea muy elevada, podemos falicitar la formacion de hongos... y no queremos eso. 01-11-2021: Good afternoon everyone... here we are again. My Bruce Banger will be ready in a week so I thought... I can probably germinate some seeds. I still have a lot of them (thanks to zamnesia) Every now and then I also post a report on Growdiaries and since you can only enter a competition there by using only one Strain I decided to put a round of Wedding Cake. I wanted to grow this variety when I still got my seeds from seedstockers, but found it too expensive at the time. Now I had two fish vouchers from zamnesia, each one good for 5 Wedding Cake Auto seeds. I didn't really like AFs per se (although I enjoy the result every day) so I called them and asked if I couldn't get Photos instead of Autoflowers... That was no problem at all, so I now have 10 have seeds. I have not yet found a method of germination on Hydro that works well for me, so we're going to do it in the most reliable way for me... old-fashioned in Cocos plugs. I let it fill itself with acidified (PH5.9) water and then provided each plug with a seed. I now put this under a 60W purple LED lamp that I still had from my very first cultivation attempt. Once they are up (I'm guessing/hope with a week) these will go into my budget system to grow there under 480W LM301H panels for a few weeks but with only 12 hours of light. The idea is to move these to the large closet as soon as they are about 4 weeks old, but that is not necessarily a requirement because you can also remove the lamps from that loft and move them to this room. That depends a bit on the size. What I'm going to test this round is how good/bad 12/12 from seed is doing in Hydro. Since most feeding schedules with hydro assume that you only pre-grow 1 week, I thought I might as well rule out that one week. In addition, from the moment the roots emerge from under the net pots, I want to increase the EC to 1.5 fairly quickly. I like small stocky plants without having to scrog. Maybe I'll top and maybe even mainline, but that depends entirely on the development of the ladies. In any case, there will be no feeding computer for the first few weeks (a bluelab Guardian) and as growth food they are given Hy-Pro Hydro A/B with Calmag (4-4-1 ratio). I expect very low temperatures in space so it won't be a banger. I have the impression that a correct root temperature compensates to some extent. I'm still looking for a way to transport the ladies in the right way (or I have to find a way to be able to use the same net pots in both systems). But that is of later concern. Since I only have 1 pre-growth room and 1 flowering room, I will put these ladies in a kitchen cupboard for the next week. The Bruce Banger goes on Sunday and then I can put them in there. The idea is to continue breeding on 12/12 from now on. After six weeks, new seeds will always germinate and no more than 5 at a time. I now make a round with originally 15 ladies, 3 of them were left behind in such a way that I took them out (to prevent rot) with the probable cause of too little light. 5 Planting will probably yield a little less, but hey, I can't finish it otherwise. And now my friends are very happy with my clearing days but of course that is not what I grow for. In addition, it also hurts a bit to give away 3-4 ounces after so many months of work. Chopped the second Frostbanger after a week's flush. As you can see from the pics she is a beauty. Very good leaf to bud ratio will be easy to trim. Smell is strong. Next up will be the gorilla zkittles. Which is the biggest in the tent by far. But it's taking a while to ripen up. Then that's just leaves 1 frostbanger which I planted a couple weeks after the rest. The Frostbangers are just like photoperiods. Even for F3s they have been very stable. I can't wait to try the F8 banana purple punch 😳. This will be the last update unless I decide to add a week for the plant that's behind. Which also looks very good. If not I'll do a review and give the final weight in the next update. Very happy with this run. 🌱❄️💨

Molasses is still the main ingredient of the fertilizers I feeding them. I just have only a small amount of the "ready" Advanced Nutrients Bloom fertilizer. I will still go on Mycoterra Kraken, Earthworm juice and Molasses. And of course my handmade fertilizer - it stinks like an 3-days-old cup of very strong green tea - this comes from the wakame seaweed ! Extra tip: The smell of wakame is much stronger than the cannabis smell! So you don't need any carbon filters etc. 😆😋 So the molasses does: I once done the water with molasses mix and leaved it for 2 days - it began to ferment! The smell of this remembers me of beer making process with a little bit of the very fresh smell of a essential oil from green carrot tops. Yes, I know - these descriptions are the bomb, haha! Reduced the temperature on my thermostat gear: from 32 to 26'C to see what happens - the reduction should help improve the flowering. As you can see some of the leaves are broken - caused accidentally by watering the plant! I am trying to do my best on this small area 😅

So I had a few issue. I over watered early on, took them out the seed tray early, started feeding them a week or two late, no humidifier yet but they recovered well.

She is getting nice and fat next few weeks and it will be harvest time. This strain should taste nice so another strain I'm looking forward to smoke

Day 30, the ladies seem to like the increase in Co2. I’m still battling the mysterious leaf spots. I sprayed them with Neem Oil just in case it’s some kind of fungus or septoria. This should stop it from spreading if it is. Still maintaining a 6.0 pH. They get a nutrients change in a couple days, I am going to give them a full dose of CalMag, it’s recommended at 5ml/gal and I’ve been giving them 4ml/gal. It’s RO water so CalMag is definitely needed. **I have solved the mysterious leaf spot issue. It’s a Calcium deficiency 100%. Going to raise the pH to 6.2-6.3 and give them full doses of CalMag and see how they respond. Upped their feeding this evening and changed their res. #1&2 are getting 7.5g/gal of each V1 and V2 from FloraFlex nutrients. #3 is getting 10ml/gal of Advanced Nutrients MGB, and 8ml/gal of B-52 Day 31, decided to give the girls a little trim today. #2 and #3 more specifically because they had huge fan leaves blocking out light to some lower sites. Hopefully this doesn’t endure too much stress on them. I’ve also had the lights dimmed this whole time, decided to amp it up to 100% power. Will update again in 2-3 days to see how their responding. Day 35, #1 was showing brown spots again, I think I may be giving them too much nutrients. I dropped the PPMs from 1080 to 880 and adjusted the pH because it was dropping. pH has stayed stable over past 24 hours, plant doesn’t have any affected new growth. I gave all the ladies another trim as they were getting pretty bushy. Still not officially flowering yet they should be starting here really soon though. I’ve never grown an Autoflower before but I’ll learn.
