Mimosa go faster!

My first grow 'attempt'. I am growing in an insulated shipping container. Using two Fluence SpydrX LED 660W lights. Not currently supplementing Co2. Feeding by hand for now but I will set up an automated dripper. Drain to waste. Growing in Pro-Mix HP w/ Mycorrhizae which contains (65%-75%) Peat-Moss, Perlite, Mycorrhizae, pH adjusters, and a wetting agent. All 5 seeds sprouted!! 3 Peat Pellet, 2 Paper Towel Light intensity set to lowest setting. (8%) Feeding every couple days with 160ppm, 6.0 pH. Overall, pretty good week. Lights on! Using 18/6 light schedule. The peat pellets were placed into peat pots and under a dome. The lights should have been turned on a lot sooner, the seedlings stretched quite tall. Lesson learned there. They continued to grow quite tall. One fell over, it was replanted slightly deeper to support it. Fingers crossed it survives. Light intensity set to lowest setting (8%). A lot to learn.

Week 4 in the books. She started throwing pistils this week. Cruising along and handling the training like a champ. She's drinking about a cup of water daily and her roots are thriving in the runoff caught in the 2nd cup, which gets dumped before each new watering. Strong structure and starting to get a little smell. She smelled like celery leaves up to this point. I've raised her closer to the light to increase light intensity.

When I place the steel forks on the stems to keep them from growing up this strain will go all noodle like and bend more fluidly then all the other plants. its like spaghetti or some other pasta related wet noddle thing. Still giving them a 2:1 or 2.5:1 grow vs bloom nutrient. Its helping with some of the pink stems from last week. Feeding strength is up .2 point to reach 900ppm or aorund 1.8EC will leave it here fro the remainder of Veg. Prob will do for 2 more weeks then flip to flower as I just topped them and want to give them some time to recover. NPK ratio of 7-7-14 1:1 equal parts grow/bloom. Grow=8-4-15 Bloom=6-10-14 Boost=1-15-30 "not yet used it yet" Also took some clones from the plants as well, took two main cuttings from each plant, forgot to do the one so its not shown in the first video up the updated clone pics later in the week. If any of these impress me then the clones will go outside and grow there all year for a extra special harvest. Or I'll give them out to some friends and family maybe a little gorilla gardening project, but I will wait before getting ride of them all as I'm still kicking my self in the ass over the Blue Cindy loss. really liked that plant and wish its clones I gave out where still aorund. Lights doing well. The V1 spectrum is good on the medic grow mini sun-2's 240w. No issues so far, dimmed at 80% till flower is initiated then up to 100%, Will test out 13/11 I think as the schedule to give them some more photons for an extra hour vs 12/12 . Diesel Automatic is doing OK, growing slowly and still with the mosaic pattern on the leave. @James from RQS took a look and said: I would say that you might have a potassium deficiency on your plants. the deficiency might be caused by an excess of fertilizers and nutrients. Excess salt is especially common as it tends to build up in the growing medium. Nutrient lockout is a very common cause of most deficiencies. When the pH of the soil is too low, it makes the medium too acidic. This causes stress in the root zone and prevents the uptake of potassium. And looks like she's gonna be a nice big auto. "Touch bud" nice and healthy. Maintenance I got round to removing the 1st set of true leafs and 1st nodes that go above them. No LST or defoliations until after stretch before pre fower happens. Feeding I've been given about 5 different nutrients. All organic and I give fish force and the Enzymes (Power Roots also) and Alga Grow until she starts showing sex. And I'll put her on water for 5 days or so. Beginning of week.. I only went up on the FloraNectar Fruit-N-Fusion.. The rest, I am going to wait till next week to change up.. The Mandarin Cookies seems like she is right at the end of the stretch.. Still slightly but just about done, if not done now. Both of these girls are stacking calyxes and pistils.. Both are giving off purple stiples.. Not calyxes or pistils.. But the stiples ONLY are purple.. Crazy.. Never seen that before and both ladies have it.. The smells are both already beginning to appear! Both are very tangy already! So excited! Just defoliated a bit more to the Mandarin Cookies this morning.. That's all I think I'm going to do.. Unless I find a larfy nug somehwere.. Other than a few stragglers I may have missed, I believe I'm done with defoliating both ladies now.. Second time with ETHOS Genetics.. Not even halfway thru flower and I can already tell both of these will be on the top of my fav's list for sure. Wow.. Lol Mid week.. Ok so I think the Mandarin Cookies is showing a phosphorus deficiency.. It looks very similar to pH fluctuation.. So.. Stupidly.. yesterday, I went ahead and did a FloraKleen flush in the AM.. Just a plain pH'd water flush in the PM.. And the next AM I went ahead and fed her with the normal dosage I have posted, with the exception of 1.5 tsp/g of the FloraBloom instead of 1 tsp/g.. But it's still too early to tell if it's clearing up.. As a matter of fact.. It does look worse today.. It has spread a little since... 2 days ago.. Which is understandable.. I'm still trying to bring the runoff PPM back up.. Once it's where I'd like it, or where SHE likes it, it should clear up within a week.. Oh.. The runoff pH is like 5.6 - 5.5... I know they say that's ok.. But I have YET to have a plant survive even in hydro at 5.5 pH.. Idk why they even say that's ok to be at lol.. If this isn't a phosphorus deficiency.. Then its gonna be pH fluctuation.. Ugh.. Should've just started with new, buffered coco/perlite in fabric pots.. But they are both trucking along.. ETHOS Cookies smells so dank.. I can't even begin to describe.. Mandarin Cookies is smelling very fruity.. Both have VERY complex aromas for sure! Typical ETHOS strains for sure... I can tell these are gonna be some awesome nugs when these girls are finished! End of week.. Mandarin Cookies has stopped stretching for sure.. The calyxes are already so fat! This is gonna be some nice bud for sure.. Very fruity, sweet, citrusy.. Man, I can't wait to taste her! And the ETHOS Cookies.. Wow.. Such a different scent than I've ever smelled before.. Very hard to pinpoint exactly.. Still short as all fuck, but these colas should be pretty nice and dence.. The tips of the calyxes are already turning purple/blue.. I know the temps aren't low at all.. Even at night.. About 82F - 84F during the day and 73F - 75F at night.. Humidity jumps up and down.. Idk wtf the deal is with that.. But they are both lovin life.. I believe the Phosphorus def. has slowed and almost stopped at this point.. The runoff pH is getting even lower.. Now it is coming out at 5.5.. I've ran FloraKleen thru.. Flushed the shit out of the medium multiple times.. Smh.. Can't seem to get this to clear up.. The ETHOS Cookies runoff pH is perfect.. Going it at 6.2 every watering/feeding and runoff is 6.1 - 6.2 with no fluctuations whatsoever.. Perfect! My best guess is that I left the too many roots from the previous grow and they go acidic after a while.. The ETHOS Cookies pot maybe didnt have as much? And it was able to clear out now?? No idea.. I hope the Mandarin Cookies clears out soon.. Or at least that she makes it through till harvest.. ETHOS Genetics for the win!... On to the next week!...

Day 50 - I am going to try and feed them more frequently, they seem to be blooming quickly so not too worried.

I hope they don’t stretch no more otherwise I’ll have bleached tops and I don’t want that anyone else stoped stretching yet what week did they stop ?

Getting solid and developing a lot of orange pistils and the tricomes are lookings super frosty. About 2 weeks left then out to the moon we go!!! Hope its a good grade (quality high), I decided to make Velevet because the flowers looked beautiful to not try out. This will be the last feed then flushed for the next feed. Going to drench it until it reaches a desirable ppm level in the soil. That would make it start eating itself sucking out all the nutrients providing a smooth smoke and a great after taste. When you dont flush you get a better taste and why would you want to smoke nutrients? Gotta make the leave turn yellow then you know its good. This is almost the end and thankfully its been going good so far, see you soon!!!

13 hrs and 33 mins of daylight when I took these pics on 8/27 There's not much to say other than that this Girl is a beast. I'd say she's pushing 7 feet, I've been just guessing height, but I should probably get an accurate measurement on the plants next week. It's hard to get her in frame! I was a bit lax with feeding this week so her color isn't as good as it could be but I should have more time going into September to really put the juice to these girls so they have a strong finish💪
